B. Remaining in a state of trembling while moving and dwelling in a neutral manner, Whatever arises, whether it is pleasure or displeasure, When it arises, without grasping or rejecting it, The natural state of reality, without differentiation, Is said to be liberated into the great luminosity of ignorance. Even when intoxicated by sleep at night and so on, Lying down in a state free from gathering and scattering, When coarse appearances subside, the clinging to them also subsides. When subtle and extremely subtle things, along with clinging, subside, The mind of awareness remains in a state of equanimity and non-thought, Free from hopes and fears of arising and ceasing, it abides in its natural state. This is the time when all conceptual thoughts are liberated into the Dharmadhatu, Therefore, it is said to be the liberation of Samsara and Nirvana. Sleep is also the great expanse of primordial spontaneity, When all the powers dissolve into the essence of reality as their base, All the elaborations of grasping at play naturally subside. It is the intent of effortless, self-arisen wisdom. Thus, the neutral mind between desire and aversion, The power of the three poisons manifests as play. It arises from the expanse and manifests in the state of the expanse, Since there is no movement apart from the expanse, Without accepting or transforming anything, As soon as the expanse itself is recognized and placed in that state, The key is to naturally pacify, naturally dissolve, and liberate in its own place. All afflictions, actions, and habitual tendencies, Are the magical displays that arise as play from power. Even the antidote of doing good, the path of liberation itself, Is also the magical display that arises as play from power. Since both arise primordially as play from power, The key is to recognize and rest in that state without fabrication. Speed is equal, pace is equal, and shaking from the base is also equal. Since conditioned phenomena arise from causes and have not transcended cause and effect, It is crucial to let it rest on its own, let it rest as it is, and repeat cause and effect. This is the very pinnacle of the supreme Secret Vehicle, Do not speak of it to those of inferior intellect; it is extremely secret. By the power of exaggeration and slander, the essential teachings are distorted, One falls into fabrication and wrong views. Those who divulge the secret gate will fall into endless lower realms. Therefore, the most secret teaching is the lineage of the royal family, It should be taught and entrusted to virtuous and fortunate beings. In short, regarding whatever appears—objects, mind, and conditions— Without applying antidotes or abandoning them through effort, The key is to let it rest on its own, let it rest as it is, in the natural state of awareness. All happiness and suffering are merely the ways in which awareness manifests, Being bound to Samsara by grasping at them as things to be accepted or rejected. Whatever appears is merely clarity in the face of the senses, equal to the object, Whatever arises is merely equality with the mind, with no trace of thought or awareness, Both are merely the bondage of affirmation and negation, equal in the moment, Ultimately, they are equal in their ground.
