Furthermore, may the profound key liberate in its own place, In the state of being free from extremes, may it be released into its own peace, Without seeking action, may it be repeated to all, According to the type of mind, however one meditates, It is important not to lose control to the afflictions as one's own enemy at the crucial moment. The six qualities of a worthy and excellent student are: Having a good character, possessing a sense of shame and decency, Practicing according to the teachings, having abundant faith and devotion, Giving up body and life to practice with great diligence, Loving one's companions and moistening one's mind with compassion, Without discouragement, being patient and benefiting others with happiness, Having peaceful body, speech, and mind, abiding in vows and precepts. That is a vessel for the nectar of auspicious Dharma. The six contemplations on the difficulty of finding leisure are: Human life is difficult to obtain, now exert effort, A lama is difficult to find, enjoy the fruits of qualities, Dharma is difficult to encounter, practice with diligence, Profound meaning is difficult to hear, practice the essence of the oral transmission, Deluded appearances are difficult to cut off, train in the meaning of non-duality, Favorable conditions are difficult to gather, practice diligently when they are assembled. The enemies wait ahead, one will be under their control. The six things for which profound tantric practices are not needed are: If virtue increases wherever one stays, there is no need to rely on a solitary place, If conceptual thoughts dissolve on their own, there is no need to abandon samsara, If one guards one's own carelessness, there is no need to guard the minds of others, If one realizes the uncorrected nature of mind, there is no need to read books, If one realizes whatever appears as illusion, there is no need to reverse attachment, If one knows the nature of reality, there is no need to seek a Buddha. Those who possess these are great beings, supreme among people. As a companion in practicing Dharma

The teaching of the six excellences: The excellence of offering is to revere the Lama and the Three Jewels. The excellence of giving is to relinquish the activities of this life. The excellence of wealth is to rely on study, reflection, and faith. The excellence of a friend is to recognize the nature of one's own mind. The excellence of generating bodhicitta is to abandon selfish attachments. The excellence of accomplishment is to see the Lama Buddha. If these are attained, both aims will be spontaneously accomplished. The six non-actions to be abandoned are: Abandon scolding and criticizing individuals without knowing their capacity. Do not discourage those with faith with gains from wrong livelihood. Do not intensify uncontrolled, reckless, and mad behavior. Do not despise others, be arrogant and haughty. Do not abandon the sacred Dharma for the sake of food and clothing. Do not belittle the profound interdependence of cause and effect. If these are abandoned, one will become a noble person. The six actions of Dharma practitioners are: Bear the Lama, Yidam, and Dakini on the crown of your head. Transform the virtues of the three doors into the path of enlightenment. Completely abandon self-grasping, clinging to reality, and clinging to permanence. Destroy as much as possible the thoughts of this life. Uproot the five poisons of affliction from their source with antidotes. Rely on the wealth of study, reflection, and meditation in your mindstream. Through this, the prosperity of oneself and others will increase. The six Dharmas needed during practice are: One must abandon non-Dharma practices that cannot cope with imminent death. One must abandon meaningless activities that are close to equanimity. One must rely on the antidotes that counteract diligence and distraction. One must not accept familiar things that easily lead to wrong views. One must know that illusions that are difficult to cut are unreal. One must not associate with people who easily go astray. The six refuges that include one in the Buddhist fold are: Taking refuge in the three bodies of the Buddha as the object of accomplishment. Taking refuge in the Dharma of the three vehicles as the path. Taking refuge in the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas as companions. Taking refuge in the learned and accomplished Lama as the one to rely on. Taking refuge in the Yidam deities as the source of accomplishment. Taking refuge in the wisdom Dakinis as the source of blessings. These should be cherished as preliminary practices. The six recognitions for faithful ones are: Recognizing actions, integrating one's own benefit into the Dharma. Recognizing abandonment, abandoning attachment and clinging to illusions. Recognizing listening, listening to the Lama's instructions. Recognizing abandonment, abandoning all sins of body, speech, and mind. Recognizing practice, integrating profound meaning into the Dharma. Recognizing view, looking at the reality of one's own mind. Thus, act accordingly.
