Thus, when practicing yoga in this way, wisdom arises from conceptual thoughts themselves. Just as a great fire blazes from dry wood, it is extremely precious that everything appears as an aid. The six key points of abiding in the nature of reality are: the key point of placing the channels, winds, and essences in their own essential places; the key point of arranging the body in the six postures of meditation; the key point of liberating the deluded appearances of ordinary self; the key point of knowing the outer world and inner beings as the mandala of the victorious ones; the key point of the great bliss blazing in its own way; closing the lower gate and gathering the upper wind; the key point of abiding in the state of non-conceptual reality; turning the tip of the tongue upwards without touching the upper and lower palates; the key point of self-luminous wisdom being purified in the sky; fixing the two eyes a thumb's length high in the sky; the key point of innate wisdom being spontaneously accomplished; leaving the nature of mind uncorrected, relaxed, and clear. Thus, possessing skillful means, abide in the state of reality. All fortunate ones, diligently strike the key point! The six methods of abiding in the state of reality are: to be understood by the six instructions. First, with the instruction of non-differentiation of the three times, dispel the extremes of conceptual thought of dualistic mind: do not contemplate the past, do not anticipate the future, but spontaneously abide in the state of non-grasping in the present. With the instruction of birds entering their nests, dispel the extremes of conceptual thought of hope and fear: in the present, there is no arising or dissolving in the mind, without distraction, relax and rest in the state of equanimity. With the instruction of abandoning the activities of a person, dispel the extreme of permanence of grasping at substance: the nature of mind abides in the uncorrected state of equanimity, abandon it in the great non-grasping space, and rest all at once. With the instruction of a great garuda soaring in the sky, dispel the extremes of conceptual thought of doubt and dualistic grasping: knowing the ultimate, in the naturally pure state, abandon it in the vast great space, and rest all at once. With the instruction of the purity of dawn and sunrise, dispel the extremes of conceptual thought of various appearances of objects: without gathering the senses, without preventing movement, release the six aggregates freely and let them rest. With the instruction of the purity of characteristics in their own place, dispel the extremes of conceptual thought of various conceptualizations: whatever appears, without accepting or rejecting objects, abide as it is in the uncorrected, fresh state. Thus, those who abide in this way, abiding in the state of non-duality, will surely give rise to the view of the vast space of liberation from extremes. The six common faults of meditation that are shown are: without distinguishing clarity and emptiness, falling into a mindless, dull state, deliberately meditating on clarity.

Wisdom has gone astray. Scattered, gathered inward, mind's holding becomes empty. Profound clarity not realized, verbal rambling becomes superficial. Depth not fathomed, doubt becomes subject to conditions. The three doors' artificiality causes conceptual proliferation to become fundamental delusion. Thus, whatever six faults arise are obscurations. Those who desire true meaning should dispel them and meditate. The enumeration of the six paths of error is: contemplation and mental activity on the four extremes of birth, nihilistic view that holds onto the non-existence of conventional cause and effect, grasping at unchanging grasping and grasped as a great permanence, perceiving objects as enemies and thorns and going astray, gathering all thoughts inward and meditating on self-awareness and self-illumination, transforming conceptual aggregates into deities, delaying from the meaning. If these six are not gone astray, the expanse of the nature of reality is free from bias. Cherish not straying from the state of great equanimity. If six faults arise, there are six methods of correction: Like clouds clearing in the sky, the correction is: Whatever diverse displays of mind arise, correct them with the naturally clear nature of the sky of reality. Like a thief entering an empty house, the correction is: Since the essence of conceptual thought is without inherent nature, from the moment it arises, it is unborn and without an object of focus. Correct it by simply releasing it, without needing to eliminate it. Like a forest fire spreading in winter, the correction is: Whatever object-thought arises, by examining its essence, make the nature of reality your ally and correct it. Like applying a mantra to poison, the correction is: Correct it by killing conceptual thought in the state of unbornness. Like subjects seeing a king, the correction is: When the five poisons arise, recognize them and self-liberate them. Correct it by encountering the meaning of reality and your own face. Like a crow on a ship, the correction is: Whatever scattering and wildness occurs, from the reversion of reality, correct it in a state where there is nowhere else to go. Thus, whatever wandering thoughts arise from these six key points, cherish self-arising, self-purifying, self-liberating. The six signs of confidence in genuine realization are: In whatever faults or virtues, there is no pride, arrogance, or timidity. In the body with obstacles, one's own mind enters the Dharmakaya. Without attachment to samsara, there is no weariness in benefiting others. Free from straying and obscurations, the single thigle is perfected. Demons become the nature of reality, without obstacles or fear. Happiness and suffering are like space, without acceptance or rejection, hope or fear. Thus, those who realize become the ultimate reality. The six measures of obtaining genuine stability are: All phenomena of appearance and existence are the self-display of illusion, the reality of being without inherent nature.
