Please practice! With the nature of loving-kindness as my friend, I strive to make them friends, engaging in virtue. With the holy guru as my protector, I become the protector of sentient beings, doing beneficial deeds. Thinking thus in my heart, I practice with reverence. The nature of the sixfold purity is taught as: Purity of hearing and thinking, realizing unbiased views. Purity of view, being skilled in the meaning of union. Purity of meditation, dualistic grasping dissolves in its own place. Purity of conduct, one's own continuum is without defilement. Purity of experience and realization, unobstructed power arises. Purity of accomplishment, becoming the expanse of dharmata. If one possesses these, one is skilled in the meaning of the Great Vehicle. The six dharmas of cherishing others more than oneself are: Thus view and feel the acceptance and rejection of self and others: Setting aside one's own suffering, Generating effort to pacify the suffering of others. Setting aside one's own happiness, Generating effort to accomplish the happiness of others. Setting aside one's own five poisons and thoughts, Generating effort to destroy the afflictions of others. Setting aside the arising of one's own wisdom, Generating effort to generate the wisdom of others. Setting aside the purification of one's own two obscurations, Generating effort to purify the two obscurations of others. Setting aside the accumulation of one's own two accumulations, Generating effort to accumulate the two accumulations of others. Whoever does this quickly accomplishes their own benefit. The six thoughts that are difficult to fathom are: All the conduct of all the bodhisattvas, Gathered together, I think I have practiced. When I obtain enlightenment, all the Sugatas, All the common activities, I think I have accomplished. For the sake of each sentient being, I am willing to endure suffering for countless eons. What the bodhisattvas have not been able to practice, For the sake of sentient beings, I think I have practiced extremely difficult things. In each of the immeasurable pure lands, I think I have accomplished immeasurable Buddha activities. If I do not complete these, I will deceive the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. These six great armors should always be worn. The six armors that cannot be overcome by demons are: Fishermen, butchers, farmers, soldiers, and, Merchants and slaves, just for the sake of survival, Sacrificing precious lives, enduring cold, hunger, and thirst, Constantly accomplishing without laziness, Understanding the six examples.

For the sake of immeasurable beings, Generate diligence in accomplishing the rare Bodhi. The six teachings to abandon the six demons are: Abandon the path of liberation, bodhicitta, benefiting others, and meditation. If one accomplishes self-interest and fame, it is the demon of profit and fame. If one's own mindstream does not surpass the ordinary state, The enlightened qualities of abandonment and realization, arguing with words, is the demon of cunning. Focusing on meditation, postponing it indefinitely, Wishing for results, hope is the demon of laziness. Abandoning the solitary places of mountain cliffs, Desiring profit, agriculture, and lending is the demon of greed. Abandoning listening, thinking, and meditating on scripture, reasoning, and instructions, Foolish meditation, mental wandering, arrogance, and delusion are the demons of ignorance. Hiding one's own faults, revealing the faults of others, Fabricating even when there are none, scolding is the demon of jealousy. It is extremely important that one's own mindstream is not seized by demons. The six dharmas to be unmoving and free from faults are: The Hearer and Solitary Realizer's mind is unmoving, like the King of Mountains. Afflictions and thoughts are unmoving, like the sky. Being bound by gain and respect is unmoving, like the Noble Ones. Sickness and suffering are unmoving, like the earth. Hunger, thirst, heat, and cold are unmoving, like the ocean. Harm from spirits and obstacles is unmoving, like a fire. Whoever possesses these dwells in the meaning of the Great Vehicle. Explaining the six extremely precious dharmas: Accomplishing one's own happiness and the happiness of others is extremely precious. The superior accomplishing the benefit of the inferior is extremely precious. Being grateful to happy and virtuous sentient beings is extremely precious. Repaying harm with benefit and happiness is extremely precious. Offering to the Victorious Ones, accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings is precious. Abandoning one's own happiness, dispelling the suffering of others is precious. These are the great traditions of the Great Vehicle. The six extremely kind instructions: Being threatened by harm and encountering the Dharma, Obtaining the path of liberation, therefore the one who harms is very kind. Suffering mental anguish and encountering the Dharma, Obtaining ultimate happiness, therefore suffering is very kind. Being harmed by non-humans and encountering the Dharma, Obtaining fearlessness, therefore ghosts and spirits are very kind. People and others hating, Encountering the Dharma, Obtaining benefit and happiness, therefore the one who hates is very kind. Fierce adverse conditions encountering the Dharma, Obtaining the unchanging path, therefore adverse conditions are very kind. Others urging and encountering the Dharma, Obtaining the essential meaning, therefore the one who urges is very kind. Together repaying kindness, dedicating this virtue to them. The six reasons for transforming harm into the path:
