The body deceived like an elephant stuck in the mud, The mind deceived by Dharma like a mother monkey grieving for her dead child. Do not let the six senses wander freely in their realms. The six Dharmas for transforming obstacles into the path are: Turn away from attachment to this life from the depths of your heart. Whatever illness or evil spirit arises, regard it as a broom sweeping away sins and obscurations. Regard adverse circumstances and obstacles as spurs to virtue. Regard enemies, hatred, and harm as aids to patience. Whatever thoughts arise, regard them as illuminations of wisdom. Regard the world and its contents as the pure lands of the Buddhas. All circumstances are paths to enlightenment. If you do not understand these six points, you will: Discriminate between faults and virtues, accepting and rejecting, Discriminate between high and low in the realms of the six destinies, Hold onto the arising and ceasing of the objects of awareness, Accept and reject false knowledge, Desire to practice and progress in the meaning of awareness, Desire to attain the fruit from somewhere else, Because you do not understand the nature of the highest meaning, Foolish children will apply the Dharma to worldly affairs. The six shames of those who practice Dharma are: Entering the Dharma gate but engaging in evil deeds, how shameful! Clinging to names and words without practicing, how shameful! Taking the vow of Bodhicitta but clinging to self, how shameful! Mixing Dharma with worldly affairs, how shameful! Generating attachment, hatred, and conflict, how shameful! Slandering the Dharma and others, how shameful! Those who can properly abandon shame are very rare. The essential instructions of the true meaning

The time for planting crops has arrived, Think about how this is even more overdue. If you examine the benefit of the six realms of beings, If you do not know that the nature of suffering is bliss, Hoping for happiness is a serious illness of suffering. If you do not know that attachment and aversion are equal in self-awareness, Taking and abandoning actions is a serious illness of rejection. If you do not know that the nature of bad circumstances is a friend, Skillful means and wisdom relying on others are a great cage of bondage. If you do not turn the nature of bad omens into auspiciousness, Then the very accomplishment will become a demonic obstacle. If you do not tame your own mind with Dharma, Even if there are many words, it will only be parrot-like recitation. If whatever virtue you do does not have bodhicitta, Then it will become a Shravaka or Pratyekabuddha, or a common share of merit. Therefore, it is precious to go to the true essence. The six results that come to practitioners of Dharma are: If you rely on solitude, virtuous conduct will increase. If you praise others, faith will naturally arise. If you tame your own mind, virtue will increase. If you accumulate the seven riches, poverty will be eliminated. If you increase qualities, you will inherit the lineage of the Victorious Ones. If you protect the six realms of beings, you will practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva. However, few are those who act as they come. Generating joy in six important things is: Because it is difficult to generate devotion and faith from the depths of the heart, It is very important to pretend and change with the mind, and to make effort. Because it is difficult to make various thoughts arise as friends, It is very important to remember and liberate whatever arises. Because it is difficult to make the appearance of the vessel and its contents arise as a pure land, It is very important to know illusion and dreams. Because it is difficult for realization and liberation to arise simultaneously, It is very important to diligently cultivate meditation. Because it is difficult to actually benefit others, It is very important to aspire to bodhicitta and learn. Because it is very difficult to be without attachment and clinging, It is very important to gradually reduce desires and be content. If you learn these, you will quickly touch the supreme state. The six things that practitioners strive to cut off are: Striving upwards, decide on the conclusion of the view. Striving downwards, know the time for practice. Striving outwards, know that the appearance of objects is illusory. Striving inwards, abandon the clinging to the grasped and the grasper. Striving outwards, listen and contemplate without bias. Striving inwards, subdue the five poisons of your own mind. If you do that, you can turn back the army of samsara. The six evil dharmas of afflictions and hopes are: Not having tamed oneself, hoping to tame others. Hoping to understand reality by understanding the meaning. Focusing
