Hoping to attain (accomplishments). Without abandoning human dharma, hoping to attain divine dharma. Without practicing, speaking excessively, hoping to benefit others. Practicing a little, hoping to receive reverence. Like the path to liberation and the east and west of the ocean. The six behaviors of evil nature are: When distributing food and drink, wanting one's own share to be large. When doing business, wanting to win oneself. When wearing clothes, wanting oneself to be warm and comfortable. Taking the good for oneself, but giving the bad to others. Even when staying for one night, wanting to find a comfortable place for oneself. With Dharma and Lamas, wanting oneself to be cherished. For such a person, the sprout of liberation will wither. The six dharmas of entering the correct path without error are: Occupying the land of the monastery, not clinging to "I" and "mine." Grasping the necessities of life, not clinging to "I" and "mine." Maintaining virtuous conduct, not putting on airs of superiority. Abandoning unfaithful behavior, not caring about others' faces. Benefiting others with compassion, not wasting family property. Giving alms impartially, not expecting returns. The six dharmas of being able to practice independently are: Having precepts without hypocrisy can withstand bad circumstances. Any instructions and anger can be understood and practiced. Being skilled at eliminating obstacles and expelling diseases and demons. Having completed hearing and thinking, there is nothing to ask others. Being thoroughly clear about right and wrong, good and evil, understanding the difference between the Great Vehicle and the Small Vehicle. Not being defeated by demons, because one possesses armor. The advice to abandon the six shames is: Accumulating wealth and possessions is a shameful thing. Extravagantly showing off beautiful clothes is a shameful thing. Dressing up and flirting is a shameful thing. Pursuing worldly pleasures is a shameful thing. Doing many non-Dharma activities is a shameful thing. Pride and arrogance are shameful things. Those who sincerely practice Dharma should abandon these. The six dharmas of emulating the conduct of the predecessors are: Not being distracted, urging oneself with impermanence and death. Because knowing that samsara is suffering, abandoning it. Abandoning royal power and enjoyment like spitting out saliva. With pure faith and diligence, entering the door of Dharma. Seeking virtuous friends, cutting off the elaboration of hearing and thinking. Diligently practicing asceticism, placing body and life as a stake. By practicing in this way, one can attain accomplishment. One should take this as a standard and strive to practice. From this arise the six dharmas of benefiting others: Because of mastering compassion, loving without discrimination between near and far. Realization reaching perfection, the illusion of self-grasping disappears. Because of understanding the disposition of beings, skillfully using dependent origination. Because of liberating the nature of phenomena, everything that appears arises as an aid. Blessings enter

Therefore, it can transform the appearances of others, and sentient beings with faith who are ready to be tamed gather together, and outer and inner interdependence become one. The six faults of not applying virtue to the mind are: without practice, even if you know, you will wander in samsara; placing the target nearby, you shoot arrows far away; robbers run back and forth between the east and west mountains; thieves flee into the forest, cutting off their footprints in the sand; the flood carries away the target, but you run on dry land; reciting rituals but not knowing where to place the torma, such people are far from the land of great bliss. The six difficult faults that are shown are: having desire for samsara, it is difficult to generate true faith; it is difficult to keep the three trainings without shame; without meeting a qualified guru, it is difficult to enter the path of liberation; without mastering the means, it is difficult to generate wisdom; without freeing from clinging to extremes, it is difficult to realize the view; without clairvoyance, it is difficult to accomplish the benefit of others. Because it is difficult, few can achieve it. The six habits of practice that can subdue distraction are: remembering leisure and endowment, abandoning meaningless actions; without non-conceptualization and distraction, being separated from the enemy of laziness; obtaining accomplishment, diligence will not cease; the increase of experience and realization, generating joy in meditation and practice; obtaining mastery of awareness, the nature of reality arises from the causes of distraction; the sutra and tantra teachings are integrated with one's own mind. The six dharmas to rely on until the end are: abandoning relatives and friends, relying on virtuous friends with dharma; abandoning bad friends, relying on wise and virtuous lamas; abandoning worldly affairs, relying on the dharma of ultimate happiness; relying on hearing and thinking, making it familiar with your own mind; abandoning villages, relying on secluded mountain cliffs; seeking instructions, practicing with diligence. If you do so, you will quickly obtain accomplishment. The six actions that are mixed with benefit and harm are: relying on a lama without generating qualities, relying on a disciple without entering the right path, practicing without being free from the eight worldly concerns, seeking gain with wrong livelihood and benefiting others, taking vows without a mind of protection, practicing secret mantra while mixing good and evil. These are all mixed with benefit and harm, and are false images of the Dharma. The six dharmas that suppress wrong views like nails are: subduing the enemy of harm, but making them increase again, it is not as important as suppressing the poison of self-grasping; enjoying desirable qualities, but attachment increases again, it is not as important as forcibly cutting off attachment; speaking meaningless words in leisure time.
