By abandoning the result, one is liberated, there is no death. Without hope and fear, the sky has no death. If you realize this, you are free from the Lord of Death and demons. If you do not realize it, there are six faults in grasping at things as real: Leaving what you have within yourself, you seek it elsewhere. A great yogi, not knowing the nature of reality, is bound by labels. Not knowing that the appearance of objects is false, he grasps it as true. Not realizing the nature of the single sphere, he grasps it as separate. Not knowing the essence of self-awareness, he goes through high and low. Not cutting off the attachment to delusion, he is deceived by demons. Examine the faults of not understanding and abandon them. The six instructions for not turning back are: By relying on the Lama, one does not turn back from human Dharma. By thinking of the faults of objects, one does not turn back from human Dharma. By thinking of happiness and suffering, one does not turn back from human Dharma. By thinking of the faults of the world, one does not turn back from human Dharma. By seeing everything as delusion, one does not turn back from human Dharma. By thinking of suffering as a mud pit, one does not turn back from human Dharma. Thus, By thinking, one is liberated from worldly Dharma. Surrounded by six sparks of antidote: Day and night stealing life, do the spark of antidote. The five poisons burn the continuum, do the spark of antidote. Desire is not satisfied, do the spark of antidote. For violent actions, do the spark of antidote. For meaningless actions, do the spark of antidote. Whatever the three doors do, do the spark of antidote. The enemy of afflictions, the thief, will not find an opportunity. The six places where practice does not succeed and is lost are: A small-minded person wastes his life in vain. A fame-seeker loses his life for fame and gain. A glutton loses himself to hunger for food. A rude, wealthy person loses himself in business for profit. A faithless listener and thinker loses himself like a Dharma pretender. A poorly learned, foolish meditator loses himself on the wrong path. Do not fall into the six places of loss, cherish them greatly. If faults arise, there are six ways to eliminate them: If faith is lost, think of the difficulty of virtues. If carried away by distraction, invite thoughts as friends. Even if you meditate, there is no benefit, subdue it with various methods. If the elements are disturbed, understand them as cause, condition, and result. If the gathering is forgotten, remember the gathering and Torma. If the Bodhicitta is lost, take up the antidote again. This will eliminate whatever obstacles arise. The six essential points of applying to the continuum, outer and inner: Inwardly, cutting off the attachment to self-grasping is the key point. Outwardly, transforming the appearance of objects into Dharmakaya is the key point. In between, grasping

The key is patience. The key is to look upwards and exhaust thoughts. The key is to practice Dharma correctly downwards. The key is to guard awareness without distraction in between. If these are all present, one can quickly proceed on the path to liberation. The six things to cherish when desiring Buddhahood are: Even if realizing illusion, cherish cause and effect. Even if gaining certainty, cherish not being disrespectful. Even if appearing as a friend, cherish dwelling in solitude. Even if understanding without meditation, cherish subduing discursive thoughts. Even if without co-emergence and subsequent attainment, cherish not losing ordinariness. Even if realizing the nature of reality, cherish the integration of scripture and reasoning. Even if reaching a high position, cherish not separating from these six. The six dharmas that explain attachment as bondage are: If attached, even the yidam is a cause of bondage. If grasping, even profound philosophical views are a cause of bondage. If clinging, even compassion is a cause of bondage. If arrogant, even profound understanding is a cause of bondage. If infatuated, even realization is a cause of bondage. Even the non-duality of experience and grasping is a cause of bondage. What need is there to mention ordinary self-grasping and possessions? Therefore, it is cherished to have no attachment to anything. The instructions for cutting the six chains of bondage are: Manifest attachment to wealth and possessions is bound by the chain of increasing and protecting. Manifest attachment to lineage is bound by the chain of fame and gain. Attachment to distraction is bound by the chain of busyness. Attachment to names and words is bound by the chain of pride. Manifest attachment to realization is bound by the chain of conceit. Manifest attachment to Dharma practice is bound by the chain of antidotes. It seems difficult for a practitioner to be free from chains. The six things that will come to practitioners are: Fleeing from places where attachment and aversion arise, Dharma practice and virtuous deeds will naturally increase. Guarding vows like a blunt awl, long-term companionship will have less conflict. Respectfully practicing according to the words of the precious lama, blessings and siddhis will come by entrusting to the heart. Not entrusting one's own reins to others, one will be very happy and complete practice. Abandoning coarse behavior and possessing peaceful gentleness, one will be in harmony with everyone and pleasing to the mind. Abandoning bias and taking up a good heart, taking it as a measure, one will be praised by everyone. Abandoning the six bad expectations is: Expecting to receive help without having done anything. Expecting to have happiness without having experienced hardship. Expecting to gain siddhis without practice.
