It should be done like this. Chapter seven is easy to understand. In chapter eight, obtaining liberation and omniscience depends on the path, and the path depends entirely on the virtuous spiritual friend. Therefore, relying on a spiritual friend is very important, and its characteristics are widely explained in the sutras and tantras. Here, the key points are summarized into oral instructions. First, the flawless and perfect guru is like Vimalamitra in India and Vairochana in Tibet. The guru who is perfect in nature and qualities is like the chariot-borne Asanga and Jetsun Drakpa. The most supreme guru who is completely liberated from samsara is like Shantideva and Dromtonpa. The guru with vast wisdom and good fortune is like Nagarjuna and Rongzompa. The guru with the blessings of the lineage is like Naropa and Milarepa. The guru who guides the path with compassion is like Tilopa and Marpa. The guru who reveals the ultimate essence is like Shri Singha and Lachetsun Senge Wangchuk. Chapters nine and ten are easy to understand. In chapter eleven, First, the thirty-six faults that must be abandoned, the six works of demons are: In the Mahayana Sutra called "The King Adorned with All the Qualities of the Holy Dharma," it says: 'Son of lineage, these four are the works of demons for writing and listening to this category of Dharma.' What are the four? It is clarified in the sutra from laziness, distrust, not serving the guru, etc. The sutra says that the four works of demons are divided into three groups, a total of twelve. The six mentioned here actually include the other six, so here they are summarized as six. The six works of obscuration are: In the "Sutra Requested by Great Wisdom," at the end of the seventh volume of the eighth chapter, four groups of four dharmas that would become obstacles to the Mahayana are explained. In the first group of four, the first four of the six works of obscuration are directly pointed out. The last two are in the fourth group of four, regarding the virtuous spiritual friend as an evil friend, regarding the evil friend as a virtuous spiritual friend, regarding the non-dharma as dharma, and regarding the dharma as non-dharma. Here, these four are summarized as two. The six causes of abandoning the Dharma are: explained from the sutra just mentioned, the first is in the thirteenth group of four, summarizing the three pretenses of body, speech, and mind into one.

Regarding the teachings (mentioned above), the last one is the fourth one here. The remaining four are explained in the fifteenth of the four sets. The six faults of straying from the Dharma are, as just mentioned, explained from there. The first four are explained in the thirty-sixth of the four sets. The fifth is mainly contained in the context above and below, represented by the four views of the thirty-seventh of the four sets. The sixth also actually explains the three obscurations explained by the last of the four sets, and the results of demonic actions, namely many diseases and evil spirits. Most of the meaning of the context above and below is also contained here. The six faults of going astray are explained in the eighteenth chapter of the Ratnakuta Sutra, the Sutra Requested by the King Dhritarashtra. Among them, the first two are indicated by explaining the four precipices of a Bodhisattva. The middle two are contained in the explanation of the four dharmas that obstruct Bodhi. The fifth is clarified by explaining the four things that should not be relied upon. The sixth is indicated by explaining the meaning of the four dharmas of the ripening of suffering and the four bonds. The six dharmas that deviate from the Mahayana are mentioned in the Manjushri Emanation Sutra: "These twenty sons of gods are the excellent manifestations of the demonic actions of Bodhisattvas." etc. Among them, the first one explained here is: "Not seeking the Bodhisattva's canon, but holding the secret words of abandoning the world." The second is directly explained. The third is indicated by "Even if one knows the Bodhisattva's path, one does not completely seek the path of Paramita." The sixth is: "Do not rely on those who are Bodhisattvas, Dharma speakers, truly entered into the Mahayana, and have equal merit." etc., up to "the twenty excellent manifestations of demonic actions." The fourth and fifth are missing in the original text, and are added here, containing all the remaining demonic actions completely. Since explaining these meanings in detail would be long, it is omitted, and it is clear by looking at the sutra itself. The first group of the thirty-six qualities, namely the six cherished aspirations, is explained in the Prajna Sutra Requested by Good Arms, through "He regards the dharmas as precious and abides closely," etc. Holding the Dharma, considering it meaningful, even sacrificing life, etc., this at this time is the cherished aspiration, directly explaining abandoning the search for the Dharma.
