The reason for non-existence has already been explained. If characteristics are not distinct from the many, they become many. Because characteristics cannot be found, like milk mixed with water. Is this "characteristics cannot be found" a typographical error for "pervasion cannot be found"? Or is it examining how the distinctions between pervader, encompasser, and pervaded cannot be found in the method of reverse negation? Or is it examining how, because "characteristics" are the many pervaded, characteristics ultimately cannot be established? Whichever is examined, there is no contradiction, but it should be investigated. Here, if a deity is not established through examination of time and moments, and thus it is refuted that the deity has power, then one's own deity is the same. If it is said so, it is not the same, because one's own deity is not asserted to be truly established, while this one asserts it to be truly established, so such a deity is fundamentally not established. Things like "history is impossible" and so on are all done from the perspective of ultimate truth. Things like "the profound meaning of the hidden is not appropriate from the knowable as it appears" and so on. The Tirthikas say, "For those seers who directly see others, there is no harm from inference in their words." This is saying that even if it contradicts what appears directly, they admit it based on secret words, which is a method of refutation. But one's own profound, which is considered beyond immediate perception, is not the same as that, because based on immediate perception, one can gradually ascertain what is beyond immediate perception. It is not that immediate perception speaks of something that contradicts immediate perception in the object. In the context of refuting recitation, if it is asserted that all sounds are similar in kind as sound, so they are considered mantras, that is not a mantra. Because mantras must be recited completely, but all sounds are limitless, so no one can recite all sounds at the same time, therefore repetition is not established. Or, it is impossible to utter all the syllables of a mantra at the same time, and because one exists when the other does not, repetition or recitation is merely a mental construct and is not established in reality. If each syllable is a mantra, then asserting that the special mantras of the Vedic scriptures are true is meaningless, and so on. However, this is only a general conclusion, and it does not seem to harm the individual views of the pervaders. Perhaps some of the text is missing in the middle, so it needs to be investigated. It is said that all mantras in conventional terms that are not encompassed by emptiness have little meaning. Achieving supreme status

Regarding the statement that the way of reciting the father tantra mantras is not pure. Generally, even if profound mantras blessed by the Buddha are recited with distraction and clinging to reality, they are still very meaningful. As it is said in the Manjushri Root Tantra: "Even so, the supreme vidya-mantras, the recitation in any way is meaningful. Even if someone glances with the corner of their eye, they will be embraced." Like that. The meaning of "everything is shown to be without cause" is that, in general, the showing of no cause mentioned earlier in the secret words, these are accomplished through the container and its contents, pervasive absorption, etc., and there is no other cause. Or, with the reasoning that shows all agents to be without cause, it contradicts all things with cause, just like showing this contradiction. Generally, although the Vaisheshika school asserts that pervasive absorption is a cause and does not acknowledge only no cause, the acknowledgment of the scriptures and secret words is different, and contradictions, etc., need to be examined. The meaning of "the teaching of Dharma is also the same" is that if it is said that the Buddha's teachings also abide in various meanings, and it is the same as this, it is not the same. Even if these are shown in conjunction with the stages of wisdom, they will merge into the key point of one meaning without contradiction. That is how it is. In the context of refuting purification by bathing, when quoting the testimony of the Lokayata themselves, the meaning of "what does he do?" is that addressing the king as "he" is an honorific used by upright sages. In the context of refuting no cause, "like the shape exists in the vase," etc., means that the shape of the bulging belly exists in the vase, or that this lump of clay is like a vase with a bulging belly. If it is said that it should also exist in the woolen cloth, it is because the difference in the shape of the woolen cloth and the vase, the causes of both do not exist separately, but arise from their own nature. Therefore, the vase should also appear in the shape of the woolen cloth, and the woolen cloth should also appear in the shape of the vase. That is how it is. Or, there should be no distinction, meaning that if it is without cause, then the distinction of the vase bulging or appearing in the mind should also not exist, because potters, etc., cannot make the bulging shape, because it is without cause for it. In some versions, "without reliance" is incorrect. If it is said "without contradiction," then it will be understood as never contradicting, but it is still explained according to the original version. Relying on conditions is permissible, meaning that according to the self-school's assertion of having cause, if in that direction, the vase did not exist before, and now it is newly placed, then it exists.
