Six consciousnesses are as widely known. The accompanying mental factors are fifty-one, as previously explained. The twenty-three non-associated compositional factors are considered to be merely nominally existent, established temporarily, and not substantially existent. On top of the three unconditioned elements, there is the suchness of selflessness, which is not created by causes and conditions, and the immovable cessation, which is the state where the phenomena of the desire realm are not born in suchness, and the cessation of perception and feeling, which is the state where the seven consciousnesses are not born in suchness. Adding these three results in six cessations. The basis for negating the other five is distinguished by the state where there are no individual objects to be negated in suchness. On top of all these bases, the three characteristics are: the completely imputed, which is merely imputed and has no own-characteristic, that is, whatever appears as the two, grasper and grasped, and is the object of attachment, expressed by name. Dependent arising, which relies on causes and conditions, is other-powered, that is, consciousness itself, due to the power of various predispositions, appears as various pure and impure phenomena. The thoroughly established, which is established as completely cutting off what does not exist like the completely imputed on other-powered, that is, abiding in the nature of emptiness of the two selves. There are two types of completely imputed: the completely imputed that is cut off in characteristics, such as the self of phenomena and persons imputed by the mind as if they could not exist in reality. The completely imputed of name, such as the appearance of two moons appearing in the mind even though they do not exist, the appearance of form, general meaning, and everything that is designated by name, which do not exist, are its nature. There are two types of other-powered: impure other-powered, which is the mind and mental factors of the world, together with their objects. Pure other-powered, which is the subsequent attainment mind and mental factors of the transcendent mind, and the arrangement of fields and so on. There are also two types of thoroughly established: the unchanging thoroughly established, which is the object suchness; and the non-perverted thoroughly established, which is the wisdom of the object-possessor. Among these, form and mental factors such as contact, twenty-three in total, and suchness are substantially existent. Mental factors such as mindfulness, twenty-nine in total, and all non-associated compositional factors, space, and the five cessations are nominally existent. Furthermore, other-powered dharmas are ultimate truth, thoroughly established nature is ultimate, and completely imputed is considered to be conventional truth. Therefore, the sutras say that all dharmas are without self-nature, all

In general, they consider that for the object of imputation on the apprehended and the apprehender, the nature of the imputed is without essence; The nature of the dependent is without essence, and the nature of the perfectly established is without essence. They think so. Because the self-luminous awareness is merely the basis of samsara and nirvana, this is not a negation. Therefore, they believe that the ultimate intention of the Buddhas is none other than the way of mind-only. Secondly, the basis of meditation is: to place the mind in a state of non-objectification, free from the self of the person and the self of phenomena included by the apprehended and the apprehender. Secondly, the way of practice is: focusing on the immeasurable beings who are merely labeled as sentient beings on the momentary stream of consciousness, practicing the six perfections in countless three great incalculable eons, etc. Thirdly, the fruit of accomplishment is: adorned by the inconceivable wisdom of the transformation of the basis, and the immeasurable ways of lands, bodies, and activities. They think so. If we examine the conclusions of these schools, although it is established that external objects are not real, inner consciousness is also not established as real. Therefore, in the conventional appearance, they exist in the same state of being and non-being; in the ultimate reality, they exist in the same state of non-being and non-being. Therefore, it is not established that external objects do not exist while consciousness does. Lineage is not established by nature, because consciousness is not established by nature. Because the sharpness and dullness of the senses, etc., can be changed by conditions. The mind is naturally luminous and can purify sudden defilements. Relying on the supreme antidote, the Three Jewels, which purify defilements, even the slightest (merit) will not be wasted, so the lineage will not be cut off. Because it arises from conditions, the dependent is not real. The alaya consciousness is also merely a momentary stream, and permanence is not established in reality. Because the object, seeds, and maturation of this (alaya consciousness) are all multiple, there is not even a little that is established by nature. Similarly, afflicted mind, the six aggregates, and cessation are all mutually dependent, merely the nature of dependent origination, so nothing is established in reality. Secondly, regarding the individual differences: those who consider these appearances as objects to be the reality of inner consciousness are called the True Aspectarians; those who do not think so are called the False Aspectarians. Because they say that self-luminous consciousness is truly established, this is merely established by one's own non-real conceptualizations. Among them, the Brahmin Shankarananda and others believe that what appears as the apprehended
