By contemplating the stages of cessation, one enters the truth of cessation. Since ignorance is the root of the origin of suffering, contemplating the order in which actions and so forth arise from it, one realizes the truth of the origin of suffering. When ignorance ceases, actions cease, and so forth. By contemplating the stages of cessation, one knows the nature of the path, which is the antidote to the origin of suffering, such as meditating on selflessness. Gathering in such a way is practice, and the fruit of self-mastery, like that of a rhinoceros, is manifested on a single seat. However, it is not necessarily determined to be of the self-mastery lineage, but is the reasoning that is determined to be the ultimate one vehicle. Dependent arising is also without inherent existence, because the arising from mutual aggregation and so forth is not established. If there is no object to be grasped, then the grasper is also not truly existent, because they are equal. Being happy in solitude is also not the supreme practice, because in ultimate truth there is neither solitude nor non-solitude. The mind that clings to solitude is not the way of the holy ones, and it is also an inferior path because it is not the ultimate fruit. Now, the second explanation is about the way of the Great Vehicle. The ocean is a name for the extremely immeasurable, and even more immeasurable than that is the name known as Gangchen Tso (Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar). Therefore, the Great Vehicle of the Buddha, which has immeasurable qualities as deep and vast as Gangchen Tso, is superior by the seven great things, such as the great armor. The armor of great diligence, rejoicing for the sake of sentient beings for countless eons, is present in the Great Vehicle but not in the Lesser Vehicle. Similarly, the great object of focus is to focus on the nature of reality, which is like the sky; the great accomplishment is to accomplish the benefit of both oneself and others; the great wisdom is the wisdom that unites the nature of reality, which is empty of the two selves, with compassion; the great skillful means is not abiding in samsara or nirvana; the great attainment is the immeasurable qualities of the Buddha, such as the powers; and the great activity is the spontaneous accomplishment of the benefit of others as long as samsara exists. These are not present in the Lesser Vehicle but are present in the Great Vehicle, and therefore it is superior. Although the nature of the supreme vehicle is thus superior and without difference, the way of explaining the intention of the Great Vehicle's teachings is different. Therefore, there arose three different views of the initial chariot-leading, namely, Mind-Only and Svatantrika.

And also known as the Prasangika school. First, the Mind-Only school believes that all phenomena are included in Mind-Only, and regards the consciousness of emptiness of the apprehended and the apprehender as the ultimate truth. Among them, there are the common views of the Mind-Only school and the special principles of the two aspects of truth and falsehood. The common view is to regard the self-aware and self-illuminating consciousness without the distinction of the apprehended and the apprehender as the ultimate truth, and to bind all phenomena with the bondage of the three natures of the completely imputed, the other-dependent, and the thoroughly established, thereby establishing the establishment of the school. In short, to summarize the tenets of this school, it can be divided into three aspects: the object of focus, the manner of practice, and the result of achievement. First, regarding the object of focus, there are the basis of those with potential, the five bases of the object of focus of views, and the two selflessnesses of the object of focus of meditation. First, there are the three lineages of the three vehicles, the uncertain lineage, and the five types of extinct lineages. Second, although form does not actually exist as a substantial object in the external reality, it appears as the form of the external environment due to the power of the maturation of the habit of the appearance of things on the Alaya consciousness, just like the horses and cows in a dream. Consciousness has six consciousnesses, defiled mind, and Alaya consciousness, a total of eight. Among them, the Alaya consciousness is the place of habits, and is only the consciousness that is the object of the environment, which is the constant continuity of moments. If classified, there are two parts: the Vipaka and the seed, which become the nature of the fruit and the cause. The nature is obscured and neutral, the retinue is the five omnipresent aggregates such as touch, and the object of focus is unclear, focusing on the vastness of the vessel and sentient beings. Therefore, the seven consciousnesses with their retinue do not arise from their own continuity, but the similar later habits are impregnated on the Alaya consciousness, like the shadow of a vase, arising in each moment of the Alaya consciousness. Therefore, it is called the Alaya consciousness with various habits because it acts as the basis for the actions of samsara and the conditioned virtues, non-virtues, and neutralities related to the aggregates of consciousness. The realm, the Tathagatagarbha, and the purity of self-nature are not separate from the qualities and nature of Nirvana and the unconditioned, so it is established as the Alaya consciousness of meaning. Here, what is referred to is the Alaya consciousness with habits that is the basis of samsara. The defiled mind is the clinging to the Alaya consciousness as self, with nine retinues such as the view of self, and arises at all times except between the Samadhi on the noble path and the Samadhi of cessation.
