Having awakened from that, he did not see his desire. He knew that it was a dream. Likewise, distinguish between seeing, hearing, sensing, and differences. All of these are untrue, like a dream. Thus it is said. Thus, for the dust of earth, water, fire, and wind, even to the extent of a mustard seed in the sky, the countless sentient beings and their worlds, both container and contained, accumulated by shared karma, are all within the scope of wisdom's vision, and it accomplishes their benefit. This, though not existing in reality, appears due to illusion, so each atom can accommodate many. These are seen as increasing from lower to higher by non-Buddhist hermits, Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Arhats, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas. As it is said in the Sutra of the Inconceivable Realm and Wisdom of the Buddhas: The gods and humans of the three thousand worlds are very few. A non-Buddhist hermit with clairvoyance sees more beings on an area of land the size of a chariot wheel. What they see in the three thousand worlds is less than what one Hearer, meditating on the eight liberations, sees on an area the size of a chariot wheel. What they see in the three thousand worlds is less than what one Bodhisattva, meditating on the eight liberations, sees on an area the size of a chariot wheel. What they see in the three thousand worlds is less than what the eye of the Tathagata sees on an area of land the size of a chariot wheel. Our world also exists within a single atom. As it is said in the Avatamsaka Sutra: The Bhagavan, the great ocean of wisdom, manifesting various forms, has in his hand the essence of an extremely fine dust particle. Within it are worlds of the ocean of consciousness realms, as many as the extremely fine dust particles of ten oceans. Above that are worlds of the ocean of the Dharma realm, as many as the extremely fine dust particles of ten oceans. Above that is the world of the ocean of the space realm, as many as the extremely fine dust particles of ten oceans. Above that are worlds of the ocean of fire, as many as the extremely fine dust particles of ten oceans. Above that is the world of the ocean of water.

There are as many atoms as ten oceans. Above that, there are as many atoms as ten oceans of the earth element. Above that, there are as many extremely fine atoms of the ocean of worlds born from the flower without a name. Above that, this ocean of worlds abides. Therefore, it is called the ocean of worlds that abides perfectly in the palm of the Tathagata's hand. Generally, in a small thing, the appearance of immeasurable light that contains a large thing is a clear appearance. That is also the endless variety of illusions of sentient beings, and the miraculous appearances of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have attained power. As it says in the Entering Path: "Purity enters by this desire, skillfully entering the world in a single atom, showing the endless worlds pervading everywhere as dust, coarse dust does not change, and the fine world does not change." Thus, dust is like the world. Even at the time of illusion, there is uncertainty. As it says in the Vajra Arrangement Tantra: "In the realm of suchness itself, the three times and four times are not perceived, but due to the difference of wisdom and awareness, a moment is also a kalpa." And the Sahā world of Shakyamuni Buddha, the Sukhavati of Amitabha Buddha, the crimson banner of Vajra Destroyer, the irreversible wheel of Dharma adorned with a lotus body, the Dharma banner free from dust, the good lioness liberation, the good light of the essence of Vairochana, the Dharma light lotus body that is extremely vast and difficult to cross over, the ornament of manifest glory, the mandala of the moon mirror of the heart, the patience of taming, and the worlds of the glory of the lotus of good fortune. The former kalpas and the latter days are spoken of. Therefore, the illusions of beings are immeasurable. The wisdom of the Buddha has no obscurations, so he sees without any before or after moments, because he knows all knowable things in a single moment. As it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: "With a single moment of knowledge, one also pervades the entire circle of knowable things." Now is the third meaning, the activity of deeds.
