Twenty-second, Explanation of the Chapter on the Fruit of Perfected Meditation. Twenty-second, Explanation of the Chapter on the Fruit of Perfected Meditation. After showing the practice of meditation as such, the fruit of the perfected path is explained. The fruit of purifying meditation as such is: the perfection of abandonment and realization, body and wisdom, just as the sun and moon are free from clouds. Because it is free from all obscurations of the realms, it is called enlightenment, and spontaneously accomplished qualities appear. As it is said in the Ornament of Sutras, "After the completion of the final meditation, empowered by great light." In this way, at the end of the ten grounds, that Bodhisattva is immediately empowered by the great light of all the Buddhas of the ten directions. Vajra Samadhi and so on, after obtaining countless unspeakable samadhis that were not obtained before, one becomes a Buddha, spontaneously accomplishing the Dharma King of the three realms. At that time, the alaya consciousness, and the habitual tendencies contained therein, all the activities of mind and mental factors cease. At the same time that all the cloud-like stains dissipate, the spontaneously accomplished qualities of oneself, the nature of luminous essence, are fully manifested. It is like the full mandala appearing in the sky where the sun and moon are free from clouds. As it is said in the Uttaratantra, "Like the full moon freed from the mouth of Rahu." And as it is said in the Engaging in Bodhisattva Deeds, "Having burned all the dry firewood of knowable objects, pacification is the Dharmakaya of the Victors. At that time, there is no birth and no cessation. The cessation of mind is the manifest body of the Buddha." So it is. That is, it is the cessation of mind and mental factors included in the three realms, but for each individual self-awareness, what is called the great mind is not completely ceased. As it is said in the Two Truths, "Mind and mental factors are of the nature of the three realms. Imaginary distinctions are thoughts." And so on. At that time, having attained the Dharmakaya of pacifying proliferation, and from its nature arising, or the Sambhogakaya of spontaneously accomplished qualities like a jewel. Spontaneously accomplished and non-conceptual wisdom and Activity, in order to tame the realms of those to be subdued, appear everywhere as inexhaustible emanations, appearing in front of each individual being. As it is said in the Engaging in Bodhisattva Deeds, "The field body is clear like a wish-fulfilling tree, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, without discrimination, for the sake of liberating sentient beings, constantly benefiting the world."

GA. This is free from elaboration and appears. ( इति ) Furthermore, in the past, during the time of samsara, the three obscurations of habits that appear as body, meaning, and place are completely liberated. Like a broken vase, a extinguished lamp, and a blooming lotus, the spontaneously accomplished qualities are perfected and manifest. The obscuration of appearing as bodies in the three realms is liberated, so the body appears as the five families of Vajras. The meaning, the eight aggregates of consciousness, are liberated, so they appear as the essence of the five wisdoms. The alaya dissolves into space, becoming the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. The alaya consciousness dissolves, becoming mirror-like wisdom. The afflicted mind dissolves, becoming the wisdom of equality. The mind consciousness dissolves, becoming discriminating wisdom. The five sense consciousnesses dissolve, self-appearing as accomplishing wisdom. The habits of appearing as places are liberated, so the Akanishta realm, without end or middle, and without interruption in the ten directions, self-manifests as the nature of the five wisdoms. In the realm pervaded by swirling light rays, the immeasurable and inconceivable palaces self-manifest beyond expression. It appears as if a vase obscuring the essence of clear light, and as if a lotus blooming and becoming clear. Thus, when the three obscurations and habits are individually liberated, the realm and wisdom appear as the body of the Victorious Ones. Seeing as it is and as many as there are is pure. The habits of appearing as body are liberated, so it is body. The habits of appearing as meaning are liberated, so it is wisdom. The habits of appearing as places are liberated, so the inexhaustible realm appears as a wheel of adornment. In summary, the wisdom of knowing as it is and as many as there are has two aspects: inner and outer. The inner view is the Dharmata, the Svabhavikakaya, the great bliss, without the elaboration of one or many. It is the wisdom of knowing as it is. The Sambhogakaya, the appearance of phenomena, and the aspect of the five wisdoms not being mixed separately, is the wisdom of knowing as many as there are. However, both are not separate, but of one essence, so they are spontaneously accomplished. The two wisdoms of looking at beings to be tamed outwardly: the nature of the realm of beings, the order of inclinations and faculties, the number of causes and effects, atoms, etc., are not mixed. When wisdom knows in an instant how beings appear, the Svabhavikakaya as it is
