Those who deny also say that it is abandoning gods and humans (view). When asked to those arrogant people who think they have realized, they think that no one can answer, so they say that it is abandoning gods and humans (view). There are two views of causelessness: one is based on meditation, and the other is based on reasoning. The first is that some who die and are reborn from non-conceptual beings, because they do not see the subtle parts as the basis, and think that (everything) arises from the disappearance of their six senses, therefore they claim that the whole world arises without cause. They think that the dust of the container world is produced by indivisible particles, but because they do not see these particles, they think it is causeless; they also think that the consciousness of sentient beings did not exist before, so it is also causeless, so they say that. The (view) based on reasoning is that they infer that everything is causeless simply by observing the clouds that suddenly appear in the sky and the wind that suddenly rises. Regarding the forty-four wrong views of the later extreme, they are divided into five

and also the awareness of the four possibilities of having or not having an end does not exist; the four possibilities of neither having nor not having an end, making eight in total. The seven who assert annihilationism are: humans and gods of the desire realm, gods of the form realm, as well as those of the realm of infinite space, consciousness, nothingness, and the gods of the peak of existence, who experience suffering until death, and upon death, they believe in happiness through annihilation, thus denying the karmic consequences of past and future lives. Regarding this, those who claim liberation from sorrow are: gods and humans of the desire realm, who believe that greatly indulging in sensual pleasures in this life leads to liberation from sorrow in this life; and those who, through the first, second, third, and fourth dhyanas, diligently meditate on their respective samadhis, claim to attain liberation from sorrow in that very life. They also believe that there are no past or future lives. To refute these views: the assertion of permanence is refuted by negating permanence and substantiality. The sutra also states: by asserting that all phenomena are permanent, one will be born in the hell of fiery wheels, and after death, one will be reborn as a ghost that eats corpses for three hundred lifetimes, and even if reborn as a human, one will be born as a slave. Some schools that assert permanence are also refuted by negating permanence and substantiality. The sutra states: some who assert permanence will be born in a hell as dark as a forest fire, and after death, they will be reborn a hundred times as ghosts that eat vomit, and then be reborn as animals that eat leftovers. The assertion of infinity is not elaborated here because it is secret. Regarding the refutation of those who assert both having and not having an end, there are three points: the whole is not established, just as the edge of a cloth is covered by a single piece of cloth; only the edge and the center are covered by a whole; the general refutation is because the whole is not established. The atom of the edge is not established, because the edge itself cannot exist in anything, since all things are covered by parts, and all things with parts are covered by other parts on the outside. The absence of an end cannot be refuted, because the world having an end is itself extremely unreasonable, since space covers everything, and the world is covered by space, there is no reason to refute it. The rejection of gods and humans is also refuted because coarse particles have no parts, and subtle moments have no parts, so gods and humans cannot exist. The doctrine of causelessness refers to the fact that for the sprout that exists now, the conditions that make it complete, such as warmth and moisture, are obvious material phenomena; and for the consciousness that exists now, the measure is the consciousness that existed previously.
