There is no need to be liberated, because it is already liberated. It is impossible to be liberated in between the two, because if bondage and liberation meet, they become one and there is no gap, and if they do not meet, then it is not allowed in between the two. As stated in the Root Wisdom: If one is temporarily bound, one will not be liberated, and one who is not bound will not be liberated either. If bondage is being liberated, then bondage and liberation will occur at the same time. And as stated in the Mother Sutra: Form is neither bound nor liberated. Because it is formless, it is neither bound nor liberated. Because form is empty, it is neither bound nor liberated, thus showing that there is no bondage and liberation. As stated in the Secret Essence Tantra: There is no bondage and no liberation, the spontaneously perfect Buddha Dharma from the beginning. Various means are shown to teach this. Third, again, is liberation real or unreal? The real is impossible because there is no basis. If it is unreal, it cannot be attained because no basis has been established. As stated in the Root Wisdom: There is no abandonment, no attainment, no cessation, no permanence, no stopping, no arising, that is called Nirvana. If Nirvana is real, it will become the characteristic of old age. There is no real existence without old age and death. If Nirvana is not real, then how can the unreal be established? The unreal that does not depend on anything does not exist. If the Blessed One has passed into Nirvana, just as existence does not appear, neither does non-existence, or both, or neither. If the Blessed One remains, just as existence does not appear, neither does non-existence, or both, or neither. Whatever is the limit of Nirvana is the limit of Samsara, and there is not even the slightest difference between the two. And as stated in the Mother Sutra: Nirvana is also like a dream, like an illusion. Even if there is a Dharma that is superior to Nirvana, I say it is like a dream, like an illusion. There are two refutations of life: a general refutation of nature, and a special refutation in name. The first has five: refuting the definition, refuting the beginning and end, refuting the cessation of life, refuting the transference of life, and refuting the past and future of life. First, the definition of life, which is the abiding of consciousness in the same category, is

It is also acceptable. Because the consciousness of the old and the young will not gather together, and the lives of the two are also different. If you say that consciousness is of the same kind, that is also not right, because when a person is reborn as a dog, life will change, because it is of the same kind in the realm of desire. If you say that the present consciousness is of the same kind, that is also not right, because the particles of the senses stop, so the consciousness of the senses cannot be formed, so the collection of the senses cannot be formed. Because universal negation also negates all things of the same kind. The collection of body and mind is also not possible, if they are collected, they either touch or do not touch. Touching has already been negated, and if they do not touch, they are collected merely because of their existence, then all beings and past and future lives should be collected, because they exist in the world. Negating the beginning and end of life is: what is called one life, from birth to death cannot be regarded as one life, because the first has passed, the second has not yet been born, the present before and after cannot touch, so it is negated, there is no time. Even if existence is allowed, the three times cannot be one, so the three lives contained in it cannot be one, and because one and many have not been formed, there is also no one. Therefore, both the beginning and the end depend on the present. The beginning part of the present on which it depends has stopped, and the end part has not yet been born, because it does not exist, so the relationship between the former and the latter has not been formed, so the beginning and the end have not been formed. Explaining life is also not possible, because life has not been formed. The substance of each moment of life is indivisible, and just as cessation has not been formed, the moment that has not been born does not exist, so continuity has not been formed, because the continuity and moment of life have not been formed. The transfer of life is also not possible, because if the life transferred from human to deva is the same, then it is eternal, so life cannot be transferred. If it is not the same, there is no space for self-transfer, because in the previous moment, human life has stopped, so the basis for transferring to deva has not been formed, so there is no transfer of life. Therefore, if the lives of deva and human are the same, then they will become the same continuum, so there is no transfer, and they will also become eternal. If life is transferred from human to another deva, then there is no reason for human to transfer to deva. As the Root Wisdom says: If the deva is that person, then it will become eternal. The deva will become unborn, because eternity is unborn. If
