Worry, desire, hatred, non-righteousness, righteousness, effort, and the power of formation. The five objects are: form is the quality of fire, sound is the quality of space, smell is the quality of earth, taste is the quality of water, and touch is the quality of wind. Sound always exists in space, but it is not heard because it is covered by moist air. When a person recites Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), the air is dispelled and it is heard; when the recitation stops, the sound disappears into the air and is not heard. There are five actions: stretching, contracting, lifting, placing, and walking. There are two kinds of generality: pervasive and limited. Pervasive generality is that which exists in all knowable things, hence it is called pervasive. The second is divided into intermediate generality and small generality. The first is like the word "pot" pervading all pots. The second is like the word "body" pervading all limbs. These generalities also possess three characteristics: pervasiveness, permanence, and oneness. For example, a pot pervades its own distinctions, such as gold pots and clay pots. Wherever there are gold pots, etc., there is a pot, therefore it is pervasive. Permanence means that those distinct manifestations exist from their establishment until they are destroyed. Being pervasive and permanent, it is also established as one. To this, the follower of the Vaisheshika school, Vēluka, believes that generality exists in the space where there is no manifestation. The Lord (Maheśvara) has a body, and in the space where there is no manifestation, there is generality, because it is pervasive and permanent. But the rational teacher Vetha says: In the space where there is no manifestation, dharma, there is no generality, because the manifestable is not perceived. Distinction refers to those manifestations that are not mixed, such as a pot and a pillar. Combination is divided into different and non-different. Different is like having two horns on the head. Non-different combination is like a conch shell having white and roundness. Liberation through knowledge means that if one understands and meditates on these six meanings, one can attain liberation. Although samsara has no beginning, it is not without end. By knowing it itself, that person will ultimately attain liberation. If all the discriminations of body and mind are abandoned, one will go to the stainless, completely pure place, like a fire that has consumed its fuel. Intelligence and other natures are qualities.

Those who contend, yogis uprooted from the foundation, those who hold "self" in their minds, are refuted by the Vaisheshikas. Thus it is said. Moreover, in the state of liberation, this "self" is indeed free from all extremes of existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation. As desired: It is neither existent nor non-existent, nor both; neither one nor subtle nor great; it is neither permanent nor impermanent; neither self nor other, it is that which is not. Thus it is believed. To refute this, there are three points: the lack of proof, the presence of harm, and the inability to liberate through knowledge. Firstly, it is contradictory to establish the permanence of Ishvara (自在) through signs of definite measure, because those signs are pervaded by the fact that they are not made by the permanent Ishvara. The impermanent Ishvara never exists, so there is no agent. The actions of Ishvara are refuted by the sign of being apparent but unobserved. There are five harms: refuting Ishvara, substance, quality, action, and the combination of generalities and particulars. Firstly, the prophecy of the Thubpa (能仁,释迦牟尼) who exists in the world is not a refutation, because it refers to the future Buddha. The emanated deities are also not a refutation, as stated in the Bodhicitta Commentary: "Brahma, Indra, Vishnu, and fierce ones, emanate into forms, and through the means of taming beings, the compassionate ones perform dances." Thus it is. Here, there are five ways to refute the fabricated Ishvara who is considered the agent even though he is not the agent of all: permanence, singularity, agency, being included among the gods, and being worthy of offerings. Firstly, it cannot be permanent because it would become meaningless. It cannot be singular because it cannot gather those with limbs. There are five ways to refute agency: seeing things arise from causes, the consequence of becoming constant, the consequence of becoming simultaneous, being the same as oneself, and the meaninglessness of offerings. Firstly, we see smoke arising from a collection of fire, but we do not see it being made by Ishvara, so it is refuted by arising from causes. Even if it is said that arising from causes is done by Ishvara, it is still refuted by being apparent but unobserved. If Ishvara is the agent of all, then Ishvara himself would also become something made, and if that is accepted, then it is clearly unmade. Therefore, even if Ishvara is unmade, he cannot be the agent of all.
