It is not like that. It should be understood that the appearance of clinging to the idea of "it is a mountain" etc., as an object, is understood in the mind. Therefore, the objects that appear, such as mountains, are not the mind, because they are established by arising and ceasing etc. from causes and effects that are different from the mind. If it is said that it will become like something real, that is not the case. Because something real will cling to the external gross appearance, such as dust particles etc. What we say is that the habitual confusion that appears in the mind, like the appearance of Datura flowers etc., is neither inside nor outside, and is not established anywhere. Although it appears even though it does not exist, we believe that this is without foundation or root, therefore we say that it is without self-nature. Therefore, it is very important to distinguish between appearance and the object of appearance. Now, from the three appearances, the action of taking and grasping is explained: Thus, from the object arises the discrimination of what is taken, and from the object arises the discrimination of what is grasped, and two kinds of discrimination arise. The body is the container and basis of afflictions, and the unwise are always bound by clinging to the truth. When it appears in the object, the discrimination of what is taken arises because of clinging to the appearance. When the eight consciousnesses are concentrated in one place or appear outwards, the discrimination of grasping as "mind" arises. The body is the basis for the arising of what is taken and grasped, and it is also the place where happiness and suffering are manifested. Because of clinging to the three appearances as truth, one always wanders in existence and suffers. As it is said in the Sutra Requested by the Ruler of the Land: Among all phenomena, there is not a single self-nature, like illusion, mirage, or the moon in water. The unwise are bound by clinging to the truth, and always revolve like a potter's wheel. As it is said. Now, although the selfless cycle of existence is like an image, the teaching to cherish and take care of cause and effect until what is taken and grasped has not disappeared into the sphere is: Although all these do not exist in reality, dependent origination appears like an illusion by the power of what is taken and grasped. As long as what is taken and grasped has not disappeared into the sphere, the karma of cause and effect exists, and that is its manifestation. Thus, in terms of the ultimate truth of the nature of reality, there is no cycle of existence or the karma that produces it. But in relative truth, the cycle of existence that appears like an illusion depends on the karma of one's own causes and conditions, and depends on dependent origination. Therefore, one must cherish and take care of its cause and effect. When all the discriminations of what is taken and grasped disappear into the sphere,

There is no karma, because there is no ignorance with its habitual tendencies. Until that (reality) is realized, there is karma, because ignorance and all the afflictions arising from it are not exhausted. From the cause of action, it is important to accept and reject the result, because from the illusory appearance of samsara like a magical illusion, it arises and constantly suffers. Then, who accumulates and generates that karma? The mind creates actions, the mind does all deeds. Since it appears in the mind and is analyzed by the mind, strive to tame the confused mind! Karma is the nature of all causes arising, and the result of karma and afflictions is only suffering. The root of those arises from the actions of the mind, so the mind accumulates all good, non-good, and neutral karma, and due to the different actions of karma, various illusions appear. Like the appearance of a dream, it appears in one's own mind, and the mind grasps the apprehended and the apprehender, and confusion arises continuously. As it is said in the chapter on the categories of Dharma in the Great Jewel Heap Sutra: This mind is the maker of actions. Whatever is the maker of actions, that is the maker of good, non-good, and neutral. From the maker of actions, the happiness, suffering, and intermediate states of sentient beings appear. Therefore, it is reasonable to strive to tame and train one's own mind. The analogy for the appearance of such illusions is: Just as when intoxicated by Datura, various different appearances arise, all of them are illusory forms and do not exist in reality. Just as those who have drunk the juice of Datura see the sky and the earth filled with men and women, etc., but at the very moment of seeing, those do not exist. However, the appearance is merely an illusion, arising from the power of that substance confusing the mind, causing various external appearances to arise. To closely establish the analogy of appearing without existing: Likewise, the mind is combined by confusion, and all the illusions of the six realms of samsara, know them to be empty images of non-existence. Know that all phenomena included in the appearing world, both container and contents, in reality, even the smallest part of a dust particle cannot be found externally.
