ལ་ཆེན་རིགས་བཞི་པའི་ལྷ་ཞེས་བྱའོ། །ཚེ་ཚད་མི་ལོ་ལྔ་བཅུ་ལ་ཉིན་ཞག་གཅིག་ཏུ་བརྩིས་པའི་རང་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཐུབ་བོ། །ལུས་རྒྱང་གྲགས་ཀྱི་བཞི་ཆ་སྟེ་གཞུ་འདོམ་བརྒྱ་ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་ལྔའོ། །འཁྲིག་པས་སྤྱོད་ཚུལ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པ་དང་འདྲ་ལ། བདུད་རྩི་དང་། ཤིང་དང་། གོས་ལ་སོགས་པ་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་དེ། ལྷ་ཁ་ཅིག་ཉི་ཟླ་གཟའ་སྐར་གྱི་སྟེང་ན་ལྷའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ལ་སྤྱོད་པས་གླིང་བཞི་སྐོར་བའོ། །དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་རི་རབ་ཀྱི་ཁོང་གསེང་ལ་གནས་པའི། ལྷ་མིན་རྣམས་ལའང་རིགས་ནི་རྣམ་པ་ལྔ། །ཚེ་དཔལ་ལྷ་དང་སྟོབས་ཆེན་གནོད་སྦྱིན་ དང་། །རྩུབ་འགྱུར་བདུད་དང་གསོད་བྱེད་སྲིན་པོ་དང་། །གདུག་པ་ཀླུ་ཡི་རིགས་ཏེ་འགྲོ་བའང་དེ། །ལུས་དང་ཚེ་ཡང་མ་ངེས་སྣ་ཚོགས་པའོ། །གནས་ནི་རི་རབ་ཀྱི་ཁོང་གསེང་ན་སྔར་ལྷའི་རིགས་མ་རུངས་པ་འགའ་ལས་ཆད་པ་སྟེ། ཚེ་དཔལ་ལྷའི་རིགས་དཔལ་དང་སྐལ་བ་བཟང་ལ་ངང་ཚུལ་དགེ་བས་ཆོས་ལ་མངོན་པར་དད་པ་དང་། སྟོབས་ཆེན་གནོད་སྦྱིན་གྱི་རིགས་ནོར་དང་འབྱོར་པ་ཆེ་ལ་མཐུ་དཔལ་དང་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ཆེ་བ་དང་། རྩུབ་འགྱུར་བདུད་ཀྱི་རིགས་ནག་པོའི་ཕྱོགས་ལ་དགའ་བ་དང་། གསོད་བྱེད་སྲིན་པོའི་རིགས་སེམས་ཅན་ལ་འཚེ་ཞིང་མཁའ་ལ་རྒྱུ་བ་ཡི་དྭགས་ཀྱི་ཕྱོགས་དང་མཐུན་པ་དང་། གདུག་པ་ཀླུའི་རིགས་ཕྱེད་མར་གྱུར་པའི་ལུས་དང་། ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དང་། བདེ་སྡུག་ཡོད་ཅིང་བླུན་པར་གནས་པའོ། །འགྲོ་བ་ཡང་དེ་དག་གི་ཁོངས་སུ་གཏོགས་པར་བསྡུའོ། །བསྟན་བཅོས་ཁ་ཅིག་ནས་ལྷ་དང་དུད་འགྲོ་གཉིས་སུ་སྡུད་པར་ཡང་འདོད་དོ། །གསེར་གྱི་ས་གཞིར་གནས་པ་དག་ནི་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་དང་། ཚེ་དཔལ་འབྱོར་པ་མཉམ་ལ། གཞན་རྣམས་རྒྱལ་ཆེན་བཞི་དང་འདྲ་ཞིང་། ཁ་འཐོར་བ་མིའི་ཡུལ་དང་། རྒྱ་མཚོ་དང་། ནགས་ཚལ་དང་། གླིང་ལ་སོགས་པར་གནས་པའི་ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་རྣམས་ནི་ཚེ་དང་འབྱོར་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་སུ་ཡོད་པར་བཤད་དོ། །དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་གླིང་དང་གླིང་ཕྲན་གྱི་འགྲོ་བའི་གཙོ་བོ་མི་ཡིན་པས་དེའི་རིམ་པ་བཤད་པ་ནི། སྔོན་བསྐལ་པ་དང་པོའི། མི་རྣམས་ འོད་གསལ་ལས་མཆེད་འཛམ་གླིང་དུ། །རིང་ཞིག་གནས་ལས་གཉིས་མཆེད་ལུས་འཕགས་སུ། །རྫུས་སྐྱེས་དེ་ནས་སྒྲ་མི་སྙན་མཆེད་ཅིང་། །དེ་ལས་བ་གླང་སྤྱོད་པ་ཉེ་བར་མཆེད། །ཐུན་མོང་དུ་གྲགས་པའི་མདོ་སྡེ་དག་ལས། འོད་གསལ་གྱི་ལྷའི་རིས་ལས་སེམས་ཅན་བསོད་ནམས་དམན་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་དེར་ཆགས་པ་ལས། མི་རྣམས་མཆེད་པར་འདོད་ལ། རྒྱུད་འགའ་ཞིག་ལས་དགའ་ལྡན་ནས་ལྷའི་བུ་གཉིས་པདྨ་ལས་རྫུས་ཏེ་སྐྱེས་པ། ལྷའི་བུ་ཉི་མ་རབ་ཏུ་སྣང་བྱེད་དང་ཟླ་བ་དྲི་མ་མེད་པ་ཞེས་བྱའོ། །དེ་གཉིས་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་དུ་འོངས་པ་ལས་མཆེད་པར་བཤད་དོ། །འདི་གཉིས་འགལ་བ་མེད་དེ། འོད་གསལ་གྱི་ལྷའི་འགྲོ་བ་ཆགས་དུས་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་འདིའི་ཡུལ་རྣམས་ལ་མིང་གཞན་དུ་གྲགས་ཏེ། ཡུལ་དགའ་ལྡན་བརྩེགས་པ་ཞེས། དེ་དག་ལ་ཚངས་རིས་དེར་གྲགས་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེ་ཡང་མི་མེད་པས་ལྷ་དང་མི་ཞེས་སོ་སོར་ཕྱེ་བ་མེད་དོ། །འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་དུ་མི་རྣམས་མང་དུ་འཕེལ་ནས་རིང་ཞིག་སོང་ནས་འོད་ཀྱང་ཡལ། བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱང་བགས་ཀྱིས་བྲི་བ་ན། ཤར་ལུས་འཕགས་ཀྱི་གླིང་དུ་གོང་མའི་ལྷ་ལས་གཅིག་འོངས་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་མི་ཕལ་རྫུས་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་མཆེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་གི་སྒྲ་མི་སྙན་པའི་མི་ཡང་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པའི་ལྷ་ལས་མཆེད་ནས་ཆགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ནུབ་ཀྱི་བ་གླང་སྤྱོད་དུ་ལྷ་ལས་མཆེད་ནས་མང་དུ་འཕེལ་ཏེ། སོ་སོའི་གླིང་ ཕྲན་གྱི་མི་ཡང་མཆེད་དོ། །གླིང་བཞི་པོ་དེ་དག་གི་མིའི་ལུས་བོངས་ཀྱང་། འཛམ་གླིང་ལུས་ཚད་ཚེ་ལོ་དཔག་མེད་ནས། །བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་ཡན་ཆད་རང་ཁྲུ་སུམ་ཅུ་གཉིས། །ཕྱིས་ནི་ཁྲུ་བཞི་ཕྱེད་དང་བཞི་པ་ཉིད། །འགྲོ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བསགས་པའི་དབང་གིས་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་པའི་སྐྱེ་དགུ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་དང་པོ་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་ཐུབ་པ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་བརྒྱད་ཁྲིའི་བར་དུ་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་བུད་མེད་ནར་སོན་པ་དག་གི་ལུས་ལ་རང་ཁྲུ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་ཡོད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཉི་ཤུ་པ་དང་། བཅུ་དྲུག་པ་དང་། བརྒྱད་པ་ནས། ཚེ་ལོ་བརྒྱ་པའི་ཚེ་ཁྲུ་བཞི་པར་བྲི་སྟེ། དེང་སང་ལྔ་བཅུ་རྩ་བཞི་པའི་དུས་ན་ཕྱེད་དང་བཞི་པ་ནས། མཐར་བཅུ་པའི་བར་དུ་ཐུང་བར་བྲི་བའོ། །ཚེ་ལོ་ཡང་དང་པོ་དཔག་མེད་ནས། མཐར་བཅུ་པའི་བར་དུ་ཇེ་ཐུང་དུ་བྲི་བའོ། །ཤར་གྱི། ལུས་འཕགས་མི་རྣམས་རང་ཁྲུ་བརྒྱད་པ་སྟེ། །ཚེ་ཚད་ཉིས་བརྒྱ་ལྔ་བཅུ་ཐུབ་པའོ། །ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ལུས་འཕགས་ཞེ་ན། འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་པ་ལས་ལུས་ཆེ་བའི་ཕྱིར་རོ། །ནུབ་ཀྱི། བ་གླང་སྤྱོད་མི་ལུས་ཁྲུ་བཅུ་དྲུག་པ། །ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་སྒྲ་མི་སྙན་སྟོང་སྟེ། །ལུས་ཁྲུ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་ངེས་པ་ཡིན། །འདོད་འཇོའི་བ་ལ་སྤྱོད་པས་བ་གླང་སྤྱོད་ཅེས་བྱ་བའི་གླིང་ན། མི་རྣམས་རང་ཁྲུ་བཅུ་དྲུག་པ་ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཐུབ་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །བྱང་གི་སྒྲ་མི་སྙན་ན་རང་ཁྲུ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་པ་དང་། ཚེ་ལོ་སྟོང་ངེས་པར་ཐུབ་པས་བར་མ་དོར་ དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་འཆི་བ་ནི་མེད་དོ། །འཆི་བའི་ཚེ་ཆེ་གེ་མོ་ཞེ

They are called the gods of the four great castes. Their lifespan is five hundred years, with one day calculated as fifty human years. Their height is one-fourth of a yojana, which is one hundred and twenty-five bows. Their sexual conduct is similar to that of the Thirty-Three Gods. Nectar, trees, clothes, and so on are immeasurable. Some gods dwell in celestial cities above the sun, moon, planets, and stars, circling the four continents. Below them, the Asuras who dwell in the hollow of Mount Meru also have five classes: Gods of Life and Glory, Mighty Yakshas, Fierce Transforming Demons, Murderous Rakshasas, and Venomous Nagas. Beings are also of these types. Their bodies and lifespans are uncertain and diverse. Their abode is in the hollow of Mount Meru, descended from some unruly gods of the past. The Gods of Life and Glory have good fortune and merit, are virtuous in nature, and are very devoted to the Dharma. The Mighty Yakshas have great wealth and possessions, and great power and magical abilities. The Fierce Transforming Demons delight in the dark side. The Murderous Rakshasas harm sentient beings, roam in the sky, and are similar to the realm of the hungry ghosts. The Venomous Nagas have bodies that are half-serpent, with enjoyment, pleasure, and pain, and dwell in ignorance. Beings are also included within these categories. Some treatises assert that they can be categorized into two types: gods and animals. Those who dwell on the golden earth are like the Thirty-Three Gods, with equal lifespan, glory, and wealth. Others are like the Four Great Kings. The Asuras scattered in the human realm, oceans, forests, islands, and so on are said to have diverse lifespans and wealth. Below them, the chief beings of the continents and subcontinents are humans, so their order is described. In the past, in the first kalpa, humans came from the Clear Light Heaven to Jambudvipa. After dwelling there for a long time, two types arose, with tall bodies. From spontaneous birth, then arose those with unpleasant voices, and from that, those who delighted in cattle arose. In the sutras that are commonly known, it is believed that beings with less merit came from the ranks of the Clear Light Gods and became attached there, thus giving rise to humans. Some lineages say that from Tushita, two sons of the gods transformed from lotuses.

Born and descended. They are called the sons of gods, Sun Radiance and Moon Immaculate. It is said that these two originated from coming to Jambudvipa. There is no contradiction between these two, because when the beings of the clear light gods were formed, the lands of this world were known by other names, called the Joyful Garden Overlapping Land. Those places were known as the Brahma realm. Moreover, because there were no humans, there was no distinction between gods and humans. In Jambudvipa, people multiplied greatly, and after a long time, the light disappeared, and merit gradually decreased. In the eastern Videha, after a superior god descended, ordinary people multiplied in the form of miraculous birth. Then, the people of northern Kuru also originated from the gods of the Thirty-three Heavens and were formed. Then, in the western Godaniya, they also multiplied greatly from the gods, and the people of their respective subcontinents also multiplied. The body sizes of the people of these four continents are: the body size of Jambudvipa, starting from an immeasurable lifespan, up to 80,000 years, with a height of thirty-two cubits. Later, it is four and a half cubits and four cubits. Due to the accumulated karma of beings, the beings of Jambudvipa, from the beginning when they could live for an immeasurable lifespan, to the men and women born up to 80,000 years, all have a height of thirty-two cubits. Then it is twenty cubits, sixteen cubits, eight cubits, and when the lifespan is one hundred years, the height is reduced to four cubits. Now at the age of fifty-four, the height starts from four and a half cubits, and will eventually be shortened to ten cubits. The lifespan is also from the initial immeasurable years, and will eventually be shortened to ten years. The people of eastern Videha are eight cubits tall and can live to two hundred and fifty years. Why is it called Videha? Because they are taller than the people of Jambudvipa. The people of western Godaniya are sixteen cubits tall and live for five hundred years, and the northern Kuru are one thousand years, and the height of thirty-two cubits is certain. In Godaniya, which feeds on wish-fulfilling cows, the people there are sixteen cubits tall and can live to five hundred years. In northern Kuru, the height is thirty-two cubits, and the lifespan is definitely one thousand years, so there is no untimely death in between. At the time of death, so and so
