It is not so. Whatever appears on the path of seeing should be thoroughly concealed like an illusion. Thus it is said. This is different from one's own school's acceptance of appearances as illusions, although the way they appear is not true, the main difference is whether or not they are accepted as true. Thirdly, liberation through understanding these meanings means that no matter what kind of appearance one has, it is the same if one meditates after thoroughly understanding the nature of the twenty-five tattvas Like the Shivaite, with a burden of matted hair, or like the wandering ascetic, with hair tied on the crown of the head, or like the naked ascetic, with hair standing on the crown of the head, one is liberated. As it is said in the Black Isvara: If you know the twenty-five tattvas (藏文:དེ་ཙམ་ཉི་ཤུ་ལྔ,梵文天城体:तित्त्वानि पञ्चविंशति,梵文罗马拟音:tattvāni pañcaviṃśati,汉语字面意思:twenty-five tattvas), whether with matted hair or a topknot, in whatever form you abide, you will be liberated, there is no doubt about this. Thus it is said.

If one establishes (self-nature) by saying "other than that (own nature)," it is contradictory, because merely being an aggregation does not establish the meaning of permanence, which is pervasive. There are six objections: the chief of various kinds (primordial matter), the effect existing in the cause, the self enjoying the object, the obscuration of pleasure and pain, the obscuration of mind, and the refutation of the destruction of the kalpa. The first has three aspects: effort is meaningless, the three cannot be one, and confusion and non-confusion are unreasonable. The first is that the cause of eating, etc., and the practice of the path become meaningless, because hunger, etc., and the suffering of samsara are permanent. If one says that just as the coarse (things) that have become fine dust are suppressed, the coarse pleasure suppresses the pain, so there is no fault. Then, that pain will become non-pain, because it is not experienced. Those subtle and coarse (things) will also become non-one, because the dharmas are contradictory. The *Pramāṇaviniścaya* says: If suffering exists in it (pleasure), why does it not harm great joy? Abandoning the coarse and becoming subtle, those subtle and coarse are impermanent. Because it is powerful and suppresses, if it is not experienced, what is not the nature of experience? How is that a feeling? Like that. The second is that the three minds of pleasure, pain, and equanimity cannot be gathered into one, because the mind and feeling are contradictory dharmas. The third is that if these knowable things appear as various, but the nature is the one nature (primordial matter), then is the mind that appears as many for one confused or not confused? If it is not confused, then it will become truly existent as many, because it is the object of apprehension that appears as many and is not confused. If one admits, then the nature of one will be destroyed. If it is confused, because its object is unreal, so merely a thing does not exist, therefore it is extremely impossible to become the nature of one. Some in one's own school think that this which appears as various, although it appears as many, is true in consciousness, just like "one taste," this is also refuted. Refuting the existence of the effect in the cause has two aspects: the meaning is unreasonable, the example is not established. The first has seven aspects: it would follow that it is visible, it would follow that it cannot be changed by the cause, it would follow that it is contradictory and related, it would follow that it is the function of the effect, it would follow that it is the effect of the number of causes, it would follow that everything is the thing of everything, and the observation of clarity and non-clarity is the same.
