The Buddha said that those debaters who are caught in the contradiction of difference between liberation and nature will never be liberated. Here, to explain its classification in detail, only from the aspects of establishing a thesis and refuting contradictions. First, the teacher named Sage Kapila, who attained common merits through the path of asceticism, appeared in the snowy mountains during the time of King Yuelhukyong. His scriptures include "Ishvara Krishna," "Sixty Chapters," and "Fifty Natures," etc. Among these, there are two views: those who consider Ishvara as a god and those who do not. The tenet is that there are twenty-five categories of knowable things. There are three aspects to determining these things: their respective nature, classification, and how to liberate through knowledge. First, there are only twenty-five things, namely: nature (Prakriti), great (Mahat), ego (Ahamkara), eleven organs, five subtle elements (Tanmatras), five gross elements, and Purusha. The eleven organs are: ear, eye, nose, tongue, and body, these five are sense organs; mouth, hand, foot, anus, and urethra, these five are action organs; and mind, which is common to all of these. The five subtle elements are: form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. The five gross elements are: earth, water, fire, wind, and space. Among them, nature (Prakriti) is dust, darkness, and vigor, that is, the nature of the aggregation and balance of suffering, ignorance (intermediate state), and happiness. If these three are not balanced, then one will be born into the six realms. Among them, if suffering is dominant, one will fall into hell and the preta realm; if ignorance (intermediate state) is dominant, one will fall into the animal realm; beings in whom happiness is dominant will be born in the heavenly realms and the human realm. As the Ishvara Krishna scripture says: If dust, darkness, and vigor, the qualities can dwell equally, then it is called nature, if unequal, it is said to be beings. Thus it is taught. That nature also has five characteristics: it is material, it is permanent, it is unique, it is the creator of beings, and it is invisible, therefore it is hidden. Among them, the meaning of material is: without consciousness, and it is not considered to have form, therefore it is shown that no one can see it. Permanent means existing from beginningless to endless. Unique means all knowable things.

The chief who pervades all is only one. The agent of beings is that all containers and essences come from the chief. The invisible is that others cannot see except for those who have attained the meditative eye of Samkhya and so on. Although the meditative eye sees that which abides as constant and singular, even those of Samkhya and so forth cannot see with their fleshy eyes, so it is said that all cannot see. That is, it is twofold because it is seen by the meditative eye but not seen by the fleshy eye. That very chief exists in the nature of things because it is completely liberated from other non-existent things, and it exists pervading all because it pervades happiness, suffering, and equanimity; this itself is the proof. From Shiva says: Displeasure and complete torment, sorrow and strife, sometimes also appear; these are considered the marks of rajas. Ignorance as well as delusion, heedlessness, sleep and distraction, sometimes also appear; these are the qualities of darkness. Joy, contentment and all delight, happiness and peaceful mind itself, sometimes also appear; these are the qualities of courage. Thus it is said. These three transform from unequal parts, and that which is called "great" is a category of mind, possessing the three attributes of being inanimate, having form, and enjoying the realm of the purusha. The inanimate is without mind and is non-material. Having form is the appearance of an image; like wisdom is a house of glass, from the outside appear form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and from the inside appears the image of the self; when the two images are mixed together, it is said that the self enjoys the object, but it is not desired that the self or mind itself experiences form, etc., that is, seeing and hearing its own nature. Therefore, that which appears in wisdom is determined by the purusha, that is, all appearances are merely images of mind and object mixed in wisdom, and that which appears as awareness is not mind, and that which appears as a pot, etc., is not object. The two, object and knowledge, are hidden, as the former says: One in whose mind courage has arisen, or the image of the purusha arises, or likewise, having been completely transformed, follows after the mind. Thus it is said. From that comes suffering and various
