Also, the son of Kubra, as well as the Arhats, who believe that there are no spontaneously born beings, will be refuted later. The wandering ascetic, the son of Black Garment, Chu Lha, says that for both all afflictions and liberation, there are no causes and conditions, but they arise from their own nature. This is the same as refuting the practitioners later, so I will not elaborate here. The son of the Speech-Desiring Girl, named Yangdag Gyalwa Chan, says that both virtue and sin do not exist, which will be explained when refuting the Purba school. Mipam, the one with the hair garment, believes that everything is done by time. As it says in the Ocean of Scriptures: 'Time ripens the results, time makes one sleep and awaken, time gathers beings, it is difficult to transcend time.' In this way, whatever happiness and suffering arises for all sentient beings is caused by the arrival of time. In the continuum of humans, gods, and animals, etc., the connection is made by the power of time, and that single continuum has no good or bad transformation. Therefore, happiness and suffering arise in its appearance, and from the moment of conception, after eighty-four thousand eons have passed, whether it is a child or a wise person, everything is liberated by time. This is also unreasonable, because by examining the reasoning of the meeting of the past, future, and present moments, time is not established. Even if it were established, if one does not practice the path, the entanglements will not diminish, so it is impossible for time to be definite. If you say that you also believe that time, which is greatly changeable in miracles and so on, is definite, it is not the same. Because when the Buddha first showed miracles, he blessed the demons and heretics to be defeated, and the followers afterwards aimed at the Buddha, so it is not only the cause of time. Moreover, changes are counted for doing good deeds, so it is not the same. Kata's son, Nokchen, asks whether there is another world, and answers that there is, and whether there is not, whether there is both, or whether there is neither. These are the four possibilities. And whether the self and the world are permanent, impermanent, both, or neither. These are the four possibilities. Similarly, after the Tathagata passes away, whether the self exists, does not exist, both, or neither. These are the four possibilities. And whether the body and life are one, different, both, or neither. If he asks in this way, wanting to answer according to the question, that is also not possible.

I, if temporarily accepting permanence, the coarse dust particles have no indivisible parts, therefore the basis for investigation is not established. In terms of convention, it is negated by the changes of time such as moments. The subtle things do not have an established nature, therefore they cannot be permanent. If annihilation is examined, since there is no basis, there is no reason for annihilation. In terms of convention, it is negated by the appearance to the respective sense faculties. Moreover, if the basis is not established, there will be no distinguishing qualities, just like the sharpness and dullness of a rabbit's horn. Furthermore, if asked whether something like a pillar is permanent, the answer is permanent. If asked whether it is impermanent, the answer is impermanent, etc., which is not possible on that basis, just as it is not darkness when there is appearance. The naked Jaina, the son of a relative, believes that everything is karma. Happiness arises from past ascetic practices, and suffering arises here from past bad karma, because new karma has absolutely no present power. Because past karma manifests now, one experiences happiness and suffering, therefore one should strive to purify through asceticism, etc. If the present had power, then if a mute person practiced asceticism, etc., he would actually be able to speak, which is impossible, so it is clear. Therefore, the defilements produced by past karma gradually diminish, and in the end, not one remains, like the ripening of crops. To refute this, there are three points: generally refuting the self-nature of karma, refuting that only karma is the cause, and refuting past karma. The first point also has three points: refuting the essence of karma, refuting the agent, and refuting the ripening. The first point is: karma itself is not established as a substance, because the karma of killing, etc., is neither the same as nor different from one's own body and mind. The second point is divided into two points: refuting by examining three kinds of agents, is the karma of killing killed by the killer? Or is it not killed by the killer? If it is killed by the killer, then the killer and the karma, the agent and the object, contradict each other and become two parts. If it is not killed by the killer, then killing is impossible, because if it is not the killer, then killing is contradictory. Killing by someone who is both the killer and not the killer, or neither the killer nor not the killer, is also impossible, because two contradictory things cannot exist in one thing. Furthermore, dividing the time of killing into three parts, killing is not established for a moment without parts, and what has already been killed cannot be killed, because the agent and the object contradict each other. Killing what has not been killed
