For those who are capable, explain the cause and effect; for those who have entered the path, explain the categories of vehicles; for those who practice benefiting others, explain the five sciences, etc., and explain the profound and vast order. Among them, abandoning unfavorable conditions means abandoning external and internal disturbances, service and offerings, material possessions, as well as alcohol, drowsiness, loss of memory, etc., which become obstacles to listening. In that place, decorate with thrones, cushions, various offerings, and mandalas, etc. Then, the teacher sits in the lotus position on the seat and explains in the state of the generation stage and the completion stage. For the Dharma of the Nirmanakaya, visualize Shakya King; for the secret mantra of the Sambhogakaya, visualize the Five Families of Vajradhara; for the Dharma of the Dharmakaya, which is like the sky, visualize Samantabhadra and the Prajnaparamita Mother. Or visualize the teacher of each Dharma. For the words and meanings of the Dharma, without errors or faults, explain with clear meaning, melodious voice, and as desired. With that voice, pervade all realms of the world, and visualize all sentient beings hearing and awakening from ignorance. At this time, the six paramitas of the explainer are: explaining the words and meanings well is the Dharma of generosity; explaining without afflictions is the paramita of discipline; not being tired is patience; with joy is diligence; not being distracted is meditation; and distinguishing is wisdom. Afterwards, dedicate for the benefit of sentient beings, and generate respect for the sacred Dharma by remembering kindness. The benefits of this are remembrance, samadhi, and freedom from the defilements of afflictions, and endless fearlessness. Obtain holding the Dharma treasury, hearing the Dharma of the Sugatas, as well as praise from gods and humans, fame, and fulfillment of all wishes. In all lifetimes, never be separated from the Dharma, and quickly obtain the Sugatas showering the rain of Dharma. From the treatise on the essential instructions of the Great Vehicle, "The Wish-Fulfilling Treasury," the tenth chapter, which is the chapter on the explainer and teacher. Eleventh, the chapter on the Dharma of the listener and disciple. After that, the Dharma of the listener and disciple is to abandon all faults and listen with respect. Abandon the six actions of demons, such as disrespect, as well as the six actions of obscurations, such as pride, as well as the six actions of abandoning the Dharma, such as pretending, as well as the six faults of distraction, such as pursuing wealth, as well as the six faults of perversion, such as attachment to gain and respect, as well as the six Dharmas of straying, such as changing, that is, abandon thirty-six faults and listen. When in a good way

The method of listening. Six precious things, such as the thought of jewels; six difficult practices, such as enduring afflictions; six things that do not change due to circumstances, such as much learning and diligence; six things to do specifically, such as generating compassion; six kinds of necessities, such as knowing the distinctions; and six kinds of actions, such as seeking the Dharma. Listen with thirty-six qualities. The time to listen is when the virtuous friend is most excellent. Seek the essential instructions that are given at the right time. Abandon distractions and busyness. Begin with offering material and mental offerings to the Dharma. Sit upright with palms together in reverence. Listen with a respectful attitude, without distraction. Furthermore, imagine yourself as Manjushri, and imagine that the rays of Dharma light strike your heart. Listen with eighty-four aspects of listening, with a very pure and respectful mind. Offering flowers and cushions is generosity. Well guarding the three doors is the perfection of discipline. Enduring harm is patience. Joy is diligence. Listening without distraction is meditation. Cutting off doubt and attachment is supreme wisdom. Afterwards, contemplate the kindness of the Dharma and the teacher. Dedicate the merit to enlightenment from the state of illusion. The benefits of this are immeasurable. Even sentient beings who hear the sound of the Dharma drum are liberated from the lower realms, what need is there to mention those who listen? Obtain wisdom, samadhi, and the dharani of mindfulness. Distinguish between what to abandon and what to adopt. Increase virtue and diminish all sins. Praised by gods and humans, dispel the darkness of ignorance. Upon a lotus, beautifully and extensively listen to the Dharma. Quickly attain the state of Dharma King without sorrow. From the Great Vehicle's essential instructions, the treatise "The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Treasury," the chapter on the Dharma of the listener disciple, the eleventh chapter is complete. Chapter Twelve: A vast exposition of the categories of Dharma to be explained. Then, the Dharma to be determined is taught. All phenomena of appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, are divided into inner and outer due to what to abandon and what to adopt. First, regarding the outer non-Buddhist schools, there are six teachers, twenty aggregates of destruction, sixty-two kinds, three hundred and sixty kinds, and eleven categories of the Tarkas, five categories. The six teachers are: Pūraṇa Kassapa, Makkhali Gosāla, Sañjaya Belaṭṭhiputta, Pakudha Kaccāyana, Ajita Kesakambali, and Nigaṇṭha Nāṭaputta. Each clings to their own view and constantly slanders others. The five aggregates, such as form, are the self, and there
