Jo Sras Mo Shakya Chammo passed away at the age of twelve, while Dheshek Gyawopa passed away at the age of sixty-one. Lhaje Drophukpa was cared for by his mother and uncle, and resided in Dapur for fifteen years. After that, he went to Glen at Chuwar, where he heard many teachings. Then, he went to Yangkhyeng at Kyilung. Having listened to the teachings in these three places, he performed the coming-of-age ceremony at the age of nineteen. His physical merit increased, but he did not have the opportunity to study. Seeking an opportunity, he went to Gongbu Kyo for one year. After that, because his physical merit had increased, he did not have the opportunity to go elsewhere. Therefore, he invited many learned lamas, and under the guidance of Geshes, he completed all his studies. After that, he received the instructions and practices of the Sutra, Illusion, and Mind sections from the four Kawa. In this way, he listened to many learned individuals and resolved his doubts about listening and contemplation. In general, it is said that Lhaje Phukpa was an emanation of the Lord of Secrets. He came to the northern region to spread the teachings of secret mantra, and he turned the wheel of Dharma for countless beings to be tamed. Many disciples became virtuous spiritual friends, held monasteries, and spread the teachings. Thousands of people followed, carrying umbrellas. He made the teachings of the Karma Kagyu of the three transmissions flourish, becoming as famous as the sun and moon. Among these disciples, there were twelve who were particularly close to his heart: the four Black Ones, the four Teachers, and the four Ancestors. The four Black Ones are: Zur Nak Khorlo, Gya Nak Kyilkharwa, Nyang Nak Dorje, and Lche Nak Sad Seng. The four Teachers are: Tsangpo Yishi Ton, Tsang Nak Horpo, Yongton Chakyu, and Upa Chos Seng. Thus, the Lord of Secrets, Drophukpa, became learned and accomplished. There are stories of him displaying many miracles, but they have not been written down. He passed away at the age of sixty-one. Thus, relying on the kindness of the three: Zu, Mes, and Won, until now, the tradition of the teachings and practices of the Nyingpo Karma Kagyu of the three transmissions, in terms of listening, explaining, and practicing, has not declined, but continues to flourish. For more details, please refer to the biographies of their respective lineages.

are all clear. Regarding whether the Nyingma Secret Mantra exists in India, etc. Furthermore, in this degenerate age, some beings to be tamed have inferior faculties, little merit, are blessed by demons, are arrogant with self-proclaimed wisdom, follow speculation and terminology, slander the correct definitive statements, and are filled with wrong views. Some individuals who believe that it is impossible to completely escape samsara say: In general, the so-called Nyingma Secret Mantra does not exist in India. In particular, they say that the Guhyagarbha Tantra has four inverted errors, etc., and they have created many inverted treatises and miscellaneous writings. The answer to all of these is: In India, there is no division between new and old mantras, except for the Anuttarayoga Tantra. The names were given in Tibet according to the early and later periods of the translation of the teachings. In particular, it is said that Gö Lotsawa and others went to India to search for the Nyingma teachings but could not find them. In general, it is not universally true that the original texts of the teachings translated from India to Tibet, and the unbroken lineage of precepts, still exist today. In particular, those who do not believe in the profound Secret Mantra and slander it do not have the fortune to find, discover, and encounter it. Moreover, the Narok Dongtruk also says: This kind of profound teaching is difficult even to hear, let alone practice, accomplish, and realize. This kind of profound teaching is the domain of the karmic connections cultivated from countless eons ago and some who possess fortune; it is not common to just anyone. Therefore, in general, all the Secret Mantra teachings are in the hands of the dakinis, and except for being hidden in the hearts of learned panditas and made into secret teachings, they are rarely taught as public teachings. In the image of Vairochana, it is also said: Trisong Detsen, who was blessed with wisdom by the incarnation of Manjushri and was far superior to ordinary people, for the sake of naturally attaining enlightenment and effortless great bliss, the essence of the marvelous teaching, the Ati Dharma, which is extremely superior to the Dharma of cause and effect, like a mother giving birth to children, even if there are many great beings, except for the well-accomplished Vairochana, do not expect to find it by searching. Thus it is said. Vairochana
