Oh. Furthermore, many translators such as Chag Lotsawa, Shong Lotsawa, and Myos Lotsawa emerged. They translated countless teachings of the Buddha (bka') and treatises (bstan bcos), tantras (rgyud), and pith instructions (man ngag). This can be known from the colophons of the new translations and their respective biographies. Regarding the transmission to the Zur lineage, the third part is about the final transmission to the Zur lineage: That is, the three Zurs were in accordance with the three ancestral lords. Namely, Zurpoche Shakya Jungne, Zurchung Sherab Drakpa, and Zur Shakya Sengge. During their lifetimes, the teachings of secret mantra began to flourish in this era of the Later Propagation. The teachings of secret mantra began to flourish in this era of the Later Propagation, initiating the tradition and making it prosperous and widespread. Thereupon, Lhaje Zurpoche gathered the declining and scattered teachings of secret mantra, arranged them well, categorized them separately, and to prevent them from disappearing, he approached many lamas and scholars, thus accomplishing vast activities of maturing himself and others. The blessed Zurpoche, although he relied on many lamas, had teachers from Khyar Nak Tsalpa Dril gsum, namely Nyang Yeshe Jungne of Chölung, Lche Shakya Chok of Degong, Nyen Nak Wang Drak of the new place, and so on. The manner of requesting teachings was as follows: From Nyang, he requested illusion (sgyu 'phrul) and supreme mind (sems mchog); from Lche, he requested nectar (bdud rtsi); from Nyen, he requested secret empowerment (gsang dbang) and skillful means (thabs lam). From Lche, he requested nectar (bdud rtsi); from Nyen, he requested secret empowerment (gsang dbang) and skillful means (thabs lam). Furthermore, from Thodkar Namkhai De and Zhu Sö Shak, he requested the sutras (mdo) and divination (spar khab); from Dre Trochung of Nyangtö, he requested the explanations on primordial purity (ka dag) and spontaneous accomplishment (lhun grub), as well as the Lam Rim Chenmo, and so on; from Rog Shakya Jungne of Samye Chimphu, he requested yangdak. Like that, having approached many scholars, he compiled the root lineages and the explanatory lineages, compiled the root texts and commentaries, translated them into sadhanas and ritual texts, and so on, and taught them to the four foremost disciples, the five hidden disciples, and the one hundred and eight yogis, and so on. The four foremost disciples were: Zhang Gös Chungpa Khyen Gya of Rasa was the peak of wisdom; Zang Gom Sherab Gyalpo of Shang Tso Nya was the peak of meditation; Minyak Jung Drak of Pan was the peak of explanation; Degshek Gyabo of Tag was the peak of view.
