I, from the extremely subtle, sentient beings' bodies grow and change. Thus, even saying it is not enough, the ultimate of the teachings is inconceivable. Briefly expressed in words. Thus it is said. Regarding this, some lamas consider that all sentient beings in the realm of Kuntuzangpo are purified; some consider it to mean the complete liberation of the sentient beings of Brahma arranged by Vajradhara. Because of "the ultimate of the teachings is inconceivable," they consider that the realm of Kuntuzangpo is still immeasurable. In any case, there is no contradiction, because the compassion of Kuntuzangpo liberates everything, and arising from the Dharmadhatu, there are still latent tendencies, immeasurable○ཕthe two are not contradictory. If liberation is considered to be the most vast, it is also excellent. From the Supreme Vehicle Precious Treasury, it says, "Explaining the difficult points in the great secret of definitive meaning, this is the fifth chapter." Thus, having established the place of the knowing continuum as a branch of faith, now we will explain the meanings that arise from that place. Among them, the first is the gate to enter the unsurpassable vehicle, empowerment. Here, the determination of that place is established in three ways: the basis for entering empowerment, the actual path of empowerment, and the ultimate result of empowerment. The first has four: the qualities of the empowering vajra master, the nature of the disciple to be empowered, the practices to be done in common, and the activity of empowerment, how to empower. The first is: complete with all the qualities worthy of a lama, free from all faults, with great compassion. As it says in "Self-Arisen Wisdom": "The vajra-meaningful master, is of good nature and skilled in teaching, has received empowerment and applies it to the meaning of mantra, knows all outer and inner activities, is inseparable from the yidam deity, is never distracted from samadhi, possesses the meaning of Dzogchen instructions, is skilled in the secret tantras of mantra, performs all outer and inner practices, does not deviate from the meaning of the view, abandons outer and inner secret activities, qualities like precious jewels, enjoys an inexhaustible treasure." Thus it is. Also, in the "Inverted Sutra" it says: "The order of the great Vajradhara master, should be explained separately. The master who possesses the qualities, is the source of all qualities, the basis for perfect enlightenment."

Thus it is said. Here, one who possesses six qualities: abandoning the ways of samsara, having few desires and being content, being skilled in practice and having experience, being skilled in the words and meaning of the tantras and diligent in practice, being skilled in the meaning of the view and having complete ability, being greatly compassionate and delighting in generosity. One who has perfected these is called the glorious Vajra Holder, because the seeds of the six types of disciples are exhausted, the six afflictions are purified, and the meaning of the six wisdoms arises. Therefore, he himself possesses that ability. Furthermore, gurus can be divided into root and branch. First, the root guru is one who has perfected four qualities, namely, having given empowerment as a basis, explaining the tantras, "revealing the instructions," "and now also practicing the instructions taught by that guru." The branch guru is one who, having given empowerment as a basis, explains the tantras, which is twofold. If he gives instructions, then the branch guru becomes threefold. Incidentally, the teacher to be abandoned is, as stated in Rangshar: 'Not knowing, yet greatly arrogant; foolishly following words; not contemplating the meaning of secret mantra; cutting off the kindness of others, arrogant words; entering the wrong path; not seeing the face of the empowerment mandala; breaking vows;' 'Unable to answer questions; having little learning yet great arrogance; an unexamined teacher is the demon of the disciple; not a teacher who teaches secret mantra; unable to teach Dzogchen Ati; one should not associate with him.' Thus it is said. Second, the nature of the disciple is to turn away from the ways of samsara, to have great devotion and compassion for the guru, Dharma, and friends, to have steadfast faith and not to be swayed by anything other than the Dharma, to have faith in the definitive meaning and to be generous and diligent, to have few attachments and a good disposition, to have great wisdom," ○ཕ "to abide by vows and precepts, to be in harmony with the minds of others and to transform them into Dharma, to listen to the guru's words and not to divulge secrets, to be learned and thoughtful and to tame one's own mind. In particular, to have devotion to the guru as a Buddha or even greater than a Buddha. One who possesses these ten qualities is a noble and excellent disciple of liberation, and is certain to quickly attain supreme liberation from samsara." ". Thus it is said. In Rangshar it says: 'Having the power of faith and great diligence,' ". Great wisdom and attachment
