Mas la. Having distinguished the meaning of the tantric texts, the key points that are certain to each one's liking, having established the key points for each and every one, and having fully understood them without separation, one does not dwell in samsara. People who do not delight in elaboration, if they are trained in various methods, they will also attain their respective siddhis. The key points of the intention, the oral instructions, should be known from their respective contexts. So it is said. If we differentiate the ways of explaining this to liberate the minds of individuals of all kinds, then: For those with elaborate minds, the tantras are explained outwardly in a way that is rich in introductions; for those without elaborate minds, the meaning of the texts is explained inwardly as certain oral instructions; for those with extremely non-elaborate minds, it is explained secretly so that the names can be understood as the texts themselves; and for those with utterly non-elaborate minds, the meaning of the tantras is summarized and explained as the Great Perfection, the unsurpassed secret. The first is that the essence of the tantra is the introduction, and since the essence extends from the introduction, the meaning of the two introductions is explained. The second is that if the meaning of these is summarized, it is certain to be eleven meanings of words, so the oral instructions are established as eleven aspects of word meaning. The third is that these eleven are also included in Trekchö and Tögal, so they are explained by binding them into two key points of practice. The fourth is that this also includes the meaning of manifest awareness, so everything is combined and explained by applying it to the meaning of one awareness alone. Thus, the establishment of the definitive meaning of the Great Secret in four ways is called the Four Root Vajra Bonds, which is the sacred view of the great scholar Vimalamitra. Second, there are three divisions to explain in detail: the connection between the two introductions, a detailed explanation of their respective meanings, and the refutation of inverted arguments. The first is that if the meaning of the tantra is summarized, it is the pointing out of the name and the two texts. The texts can be summarized into the establishment of the body and the detailed explanation of the limbs. Since the detailed explanation of the body can be summarized into the brief explanation, explaining the introduction shows that all the tantras arise from it, as it says in the Thallgyur: In the order of clarifying the words, by pointing out the name and the text, gradually and simultaneously, for the sake of understanding by all minds.

It is an explanation. There are two ways to examine the scripture. Namely, establishing the self and expanding the meaning with branches. The self is two beginnings. Thus it is said. Each of the two beginnings also exists with five perfections: the teacher's perfection, the place's perfection, the retinue's perfection, the dharma's perfection, and the time's perfection. As stated in the "Sun and Moon Conjunction Tantra": All the great secret tantras possess five perfections, they are the seeds of common and uncommon beginnings. Thus it is said. In the "Reversed Treatise," it says: The first beginning of the tantra's arising holds the seeds of the five. Thus it is said. The reason for the appearance of five perfections in these two is twofold: the common reason and the uncommon reason. The first is: when any tantra arises, the teacher will definitely speak to the retinue, and at that time there must be a place, and when these gather, time will naturally come. The second is: when form and awareness gather, the body is the support, so it is established as a place. In the pure land of the skandha of form, consciousness is the teacher, the skandha of perception gathers as the retinue, so the teachings of feeling appear, and the five times of formation are certain. Furthermore, in order to subdue the impure five skandhas, it is reasonable to have the five perfections of the beginning as the subduer and the subdued. As it says in the same text: For each individual to be subdued, there are five skandhas to be subdued, its subduer is the beginning. Thus it is said. Furthermore, the so-called beginning with five perfections, the beginning is the word, and the basis is: place, time, teacher, retinue, and dharma, the five. Each of these also becomes three categories. As the "Reversed Treatise" says: The beginning is the word, the language of expression, the basis is five kinds, the place is considered to be three kinds. Perfection means gathering, three is a number, it is the manifester. Gathering is the perfection of qualities. The teacher himself is also three kinds, perfection means the perfection of the body, three is the manifester of the three bodies, gathering is the collection of the retinue. The retinue is also three kinds, perfection means arranged as form, three is a number, it is a gathering of various kinds, gathering is having faith and desire. The teaching itself is also three kinds, perfection means essence, three is the division
