The union of two without separation, and those who reveal the key points of the Great Perfection that shows transcendence of all. The completeness of the generation stage is ten, mainly for the generation stage: Initially, the two of the base empowerment and the samaya, the two of the deity and the mantra, the two of the mandala and the offering, the two of the samadhi and the conduct, the two of the activity and the view, if these ten are complete, then it is the tantra mainly of the generation stage. The completeness of the completion stage is: the two of view and result, the two of conduct and meditation, the two of mind and wisdom, the two of experience and instruction, if these eight are complete, then it is the completeness mainly of the completion stage. The union of two without separation, it is necessary for both to be complete, so it is eighteen. "The Great Perfection is," among the two of generation and completion, it is the completion stage. Within the completion stage, there are the small, the small with elaboration, which shows the stages of channels, winds, and bindus, and the great, which shows the stages of clear light wisdom, among the two, the great, that is, its completeness, the gate of entry is the two of empowerment and samaya, the two of the path and yoga, the result and the five perfections. The example is like weaving, just as relying on many threads to become a piece of cloth, relying on different words to bring out one meaning. The rationality is, because it symbolizes the tantra that abides in oneself, it is rational in the tantra. Moreover, relying on the key points of the words, thereby unerringly determining and realizing the key points of the meaning, therefore it is established in the tantra. Second, elaborately explaining its nature, divided into two, elaborately explaining the tantra of meaning and the tantra of words. The first is divided into two, the tantra of means and the tantra of nature. The first is, awareness and the instructions for practicing its meaning, etc. The classification is, the tantra of means to be expressed and the tantra of means that expresses, among the two, the first, its essence is, the awareness bodhicitta that pervades all sentient beings. The definition is, it itself is the meaning to be expressed, the basis of realization, and the method of liberation, therefore it is called the tantra of means to be expressed. The classification is, the two of emptiness and clarity, emptiness is, the nature of awareness is empty of things and characteristics of phenomena in everything, therefore it originally abides in the great liberation free from the extremes of elaboration. Clarity is, it is not merely emptiness, but the appearance of the clarity of the five wisdoms of self-light, and warmth and coolness and

Furthermore, the vast nature is spontaneously accomplished from the five principal elements, and the sound of compassion arises unceasingly, thus wisdom is inherently pervasive. Therefore, the clear and empty wisdom pervades all beings, which is called the Tantra of Means to be Expressed. As stated in the "String of Pearls": The Tantra of Means of all Buddhas, From the difference of the nature of a single basis, Are the expressible and the expressing. The expressible, a single continuum pervading all, All are connected to it. There are two kinds of pervasion: Pervasion by emptiness and pervasion by clarity. Emptiness is a single cause, being unreal, It transcends the dharma of all things. Reality, being invisible, pervades all, Therefore, it is the basis of all, a single essence. It is completely pervasive as the lord of pervasion. By the exhaustion of unborn thought, From the distinction of the nature of reality, Empty and appearing, appearing and empty, Reality is also unreality. Because it is exhausted, it inherently abides in emptiness. Because it is free from cause and condition, the realm of emptiness, Is vast, unreal, and empty in essence. Immaculate, unmixed, and complete, It is the nature of non-conceptual emptiness, Because it pervades by emptiness, it is called a Tantra. Clarity is the unceasing nature, It is the illuminating appearance and pervades all, Holding the nature of clarity, warmth, coolness, Vastness, and movement. Pervasion and primordial sound are self-luminous, It is the seed of liberation and maturation. Because it turns away from emptiness, it pervades by clarity. Instantaneous and self-liberating, Self-arisen clarity is connected with the body. Immaculate and individually clear, In the appearance of the realm of non-grasping clarity, The five sense consciousnesses are self-luminous and complete. Because clarity pervades the body, it is called a Tantra. Secondly, the Tantra of Means to Express has three aspects. Its essence is: the supreme instruction of the means to realize the meaning of the expressible, wisdom. Its definition is: it expresses the wisdom of awareness that abides within oneself, that is, it gathers the essential points of practice as a means of realization and presents them from one aspect, therefore it is called the Tantra of Means to be Expressed. Generally, the explanatory tantras are profound in their words and difficult to understand, while the instruction tantras are clear in their words and easy to understand. Among them, the Great Perfection tantras are called instruction tantras. Its divisions are: the presentation of effortless, primordial liberation, and the presentation of gradual stages with effort. The first is: the Cutting Through the Foundation.
