The way of. The nature of the first is: Knowing that the root of delusion, the very nature of awareness, is self-liberated, it transcends delusion and non-delusion by being enriched by never having been deluded from the beginning. Because of the delusion of self-nature as different, the measure of complete imputation is grasped, and it transcends object and subject. Its characteristic is that by knowing delusion as delusion, the warmth of non-delusion is grasped. The nature of the second is: Because it has never been deluded in the beginning, the cause of ignorance is purified. Now, because it does not abide in delusion, the basis of karma and affliction is emptied. Since delusion is impossible in the future, the distinction between good and evil karma is determined. Because there is no difference in self-nature, samsara and nirvana are one basis, and delusion is completely purified. Its characteristic is that because there is no cause for delusion, the three realms are completely shaken. The nature of the third is: Because the basis of falling is empty, the basis of what has not been done is corrected. Because self-nature is beyond calculation, even the existence of delusion and non-delusion is not established. Its characteristic is that because duality is not established, it is free from the category of delusion and non-delusion. The nature of the third, the essence of the thigle being placed in its own position, is that it is single, free from elaboration, and therefore without many parts. Because there are not many in self-nature, the nature of reality pervades, transcending the words of conceptual elaboration. Its characteristic is that by being introduced, conviction is determined. This can be divided into two: the oral transmission and the explanatory transmission. The nature of the oral transmission is that it is connected from one to another, so its characteristic is that it is very close. Among them, self-nature is connected to the ear faculty, so there is no interruption by others. Its characteristic is that because there is no doubt, it has confidence and the assurance of liberation. If divided, there are many, but with letters and without letters, the oral transmission is the essential instruction of the meaning of reality. The nature of the explanatory transmission: The nature of inaction has no cause, so there is no basis for reversing in the three realms. Self-nature is clear light without impurity, so the characteristics of the five wisdoms are known. Its characteristic is that because it transcends conceptual thought, it abides in the intention of the three bodies and five wisdoms. It can be divided into four: the outer section, the inner section, the secret section, and the unsurpassed secret section. The nature of the outer section: Because afflictions cannot be abandoned, the five poisons abide in the path. Because there is no effort or practice in self-nature, whatever appears appears as reality. Its characteristic is that because there are no parts, emptiness is not separated anywhere. The inner section

Its essence is non-material, hence the nature of reality without characteristics. Its essence is without coming and going, hence the wisdom that constantly abides in all times. From the perspective of the arising of characteristics, it arises like a root; from the perspective of condensation, it arises like a trunk; from the perspective of clarity, it arises like a flower; from the perspective of maturation, it arises like a fruit. The essence of the secret cycle is that recognition and realization are simultaneous, so it does not depend on the three: hearing, contemplation, and meditation. The nature of ceasing breath and becoming enlightened is simultaneous, so it does not depend on effort and the power of habituation. The nature of becoming enlightened and the arising of compassion is simultaneous, so it does not depend on the accumulation of merit and virtue. The essence of the unsurpassable secret cycle does not rely on words, so it does not rely on wisdom. Nature: Because it is seen directly, it does not abide in views that hold onto conceptual discrimination. Characteristics: Because the four visions reach their limit, it does not depend on the fruition of the three bodies and five wisdoms. Therefore, this itself is the unsurpassable secret. Compared to the lower ones, which rely on conceptual discrimination for the nature of reality, here, through the power of the lama, it can be seen in the realm of direct sensory perception, so it is particularly excellent. Thus, all the teachings are condensed into one essential point, and the order of division and collection is determined: In those Great Perfections, there are nine spaces, twenty-one thousand sections, three divisions, thirty-five thousand chapters, eight great pegs, one hundred and eighty pegs, fifteen hundred obstacles, seventy thousand distinctions, two hundred and fifty million repetitions, five thousand key points, and six hundred and forty thousand shlokas. Those that abide as the nature of two myriads of tantras that are named. From Thalgyur: From the Great Perfection of Self-Nature, the distinctions of words spread out, from the three divisions, it transforms into nine spaces. From the collection of words into shlokas, from six hundred and forty thousand, there are thirty-five thousand chapters, twenty-one thousand sections. The subject matter is equal to the extent of space, it cuts off the thoughts of sentient beings to be tamed. From this, the subject matter is closely gathered, one hundred and eighty pegs, fifteen hundred obstacles, three thousand assembled key points, forty thousand obscurations of error, the named tantras are two myriads. The order of expressing words is clearly stated.
