名为增盛的国王出现了。之后用木犁在山上耕耘，稍微种了一点叫做“索○帕”的谷物，这是最早的粮食。之后大力发展农业，城镇和乡村，无数的城市出现了，整个赡部洲如同鸟爪般大小的地方都遍布城市，财富兴盛，年成丰收，充满了人和民众。之后，关于恶趣如何形成的道理是，由于人们依仗人身积累了三种毒素的业力而产生的。特别是积累了嗔恨的业力，最初，一个将要转生为地狱之主的众生，转生到无间地狱成为阎罗王。之后，他的眷属中，由于业力积累而出现的鸟、狗和众多狱卒，以及实际感受地狱痛苦的众多有情众生也出现了。之后，八个热地狱全部，以及其周边的八个寒地狱，连同近边地狱也出现了。之后，由于贪欲过盛的业力，饿鬼产生；由于愚痴过盛，畜生各自成熟并形成。这些的寿命也各有不同。首先，八个热地狱中的等活地狱，以四大天王天的五十年作为一日，三十日为一月，十二月为一年，这样计算的五百年，作为等活地狱的一日，寿命为五百岁。同样，三十三天的一千年作为黑绳地狱的一日，寿命为一千年；众合地狱的二千年作为一日，寿命为二千年；兜率天的四千年作为号叫地狱的一日，寿命为四千年；乐化天的八千年作为大号叫地狱的一日，寿命为八千年；他化自在天的万六千年作为烧热地狱的一日，寿命为万六千年；极热地狱要经历半个中劫；无间地狱要经历一个中劫，要感受漫长的痛苦。水疱地狱、水疱破裂地狱、阿秋地狱、吉呼地狱、索唐唐巴地狱、如莲花般裂开的地狱、如乌 উৎপལ་花般裂开的地狱、如大莲花般裂开的地狱，这些都是寒地狱。

After that, agriculture was greatly developed, and towns and villages, and countless cities appeared. This Jambudvipa, about the size of a bird's claw, was filled with cities, wealth flourished, the harvest was good, and it was filled with people and the masses. Then, the reason for how the lower realms were formed is that they arose due to the accumulation of the karma of the three poisons by beings relying on human bodies. In particular, the karma of hatred was accumulated excessively, and a being who was to be born as the lord of hell was first born as the King of Death in the place of Avici Hell. Then, among his retinue, birds, dogs, and many hell guards who arose due to the accumulation of karma, as well as many sentient beings who actually experienced the suffering of hell, also appeared. Then, all eight hot hells, and the eight cold hells adjacent to them, along with the ephemeral neighboring hells, also appeared. Then, due to the karma of excessive attachment, pretas arose; due to excessive ignorance, animals each matured and formed. The lifespans of these also vary. First, for the hot hells, for the Reviving Hell, fifty human years are considered one day of the Four Great Kings Heaven, thirty days are one month, and twelve months are one year. Five hundred of these years are considered one day of the Reviving Hell, and the lifespan is five hundred years. Similarly, one thousand years of the Thirty-Three Heavens are considered one day of the Black Line Hell, and the lifespan is one thousand years; two thousand years of the Crushing Hell are considered one day, and the lifespan is two thousand years; four thousand years of the Joyful Heaven are considered one day of the Howling Hell, and the lifespan is four thousand years; eight thousand years of the Enjoying Emanation Heaven are considered one day of the Great Howling Hell, and the lifespan is eight thousand years; sixteen thousand years of the Controlling Others' Emanations Heaven are considered one day of the Burning Hell, and the lifespan is sixteen thousand years; the Very Hot Hell lasts for half a kalpa; the Avici Hell lasts for one kalpa, and one experiences prolonged suffering. Blister Hell, Bursting Blister Hell, Achu Hell, Kyihu Hell, Sotamtampa Hell, the hell that cracks like a lotus, the hell that cracks like an উৎপལ་ flower, the hell that cracks like a great lotus, these are the cold hells.
