When one knows the meaning of the spontaneously arisen state, one knows that outer appearances are self-appearances, transparent and unobstructed. One knows that all dharmas are generally empty and without self. Knowing the measure of one's own innate wisdom is called "knowing." The excellent one, without seeking, finds the difficult-to-understand meaning from within himself, so he is called the most excellent, having reached the peak. Because one finds the jewel that is inherently present, it is called "self." Because self-arising occurs without cessation, it is called "arising." Because one clearly knows all dharmas, it is called "lamp." Because self-appearance pervades one's own face, it is called "mother." Furthermore, it is said in that (text): With "knowing," one thoroughly enters into all appearances, both real and unreal, and knows the general meaning. Without seeking, one finds firm assurance, and knows the measure of one's own innate wisdom. The Dharmakaya, pure in its own nature, is not found by anyone, but is self-realized. Therefore, it appears supremely excellent among all. Because there is no place for others to judge, it is called the self-arisen, primordially pure mother. It is not the object of others, so it is called "self." This meaning is not found through effort. Because it does not rely on anyone, it is called the primordially self-arisen "arising." The lamp makes all dharmata appear as non-dual. The mother pervades with her own face. Thus it is said. Also, in the Garland of Pearls, it is said: Just as a burning lamp, with "knowing," one understands all dharmas simultaneously. "Excellent" is the peak of all. "Self" is separate from dharmas dependent on others. "Arising" appears unhindered and freely. Thus it is said. Third, if divided, there are five: The wisdom of the ground-state self-arisen is the clarity of inner awareness, which is the basis and support. The wisdom of holding onto appearances is the self-luminous, stainless purity of the union of space and wisdom, which sends the intention into dharmata. The wisdom of uninterrupted memory, although appearing without distinction in appearances, is liberated in its own face and gathered into one dharmata. The wisdom of individual discernment knows dharmas and entities, self-characteristics and general characteristics, defining characteristics, etc., as they appear, without confusion. The wisdom of the three modes of entry: in this bardo of nature, one establishes certainty through hearing, determines through thinking, and experiences the taste through meditation, thereby निश्चित निर्याण(藏文,梵文天城体,nirṇaya,梵文罗马拟音,certain departure)releasing from samsara, which is to understand the meaning of words. Again, it is said in that (text): There are five types of divisions. With the ground-state self-arisen wisdom, body, etc.

One performs the supports of the Dharma. With the wisdom of clear perception, one holds the meeting place of the realm and awareness. With the wisdom of uninterrupted mindfulness, one gathers all objects into a single-pointed consciousness. With the wisdom of individual discrimination, one distinguishes between the general and the specific characteristics. With the wisdom of the three entrances, one establishes the nature in the bardo. Thus it is. Fourth, the characteristic is: Knowing that the dharmas gathered by the appearance of objects and the dharmas gathered by the awareness of the subject are without inherent existence is the characteristic of this. As it says in that very text: All dharmas, appearing and not appearing, whoever knows them to be without inherent existence, this is its characteristic. Thus it says. In the summary, it says: If one fully knows that all dharmas are without inherent existence, this is called the supreme perfection of wisdom. Thus it is said. Fifth, the door of arising is: The five senses, that is, the consciousness of the senses measuring objects, is wisdom, and therefore it is its door. In particular, the memory from the nose is the horse of wisdom, because the fire-wind moves. The sound of the fire-wind wisdom, like a spark, is known to arise when sneezing occurs at night. Also, that very text says: The door of arising is the five senses, especially arising from the nose. Its sign is at night, with violent coughing and sneezing, when coughing is very violent, a red and radiant light shines forth like a spark, scattering in all directions. By its measure and sign, one recognizes the door of arising. Thus it is said. Sixth, the place is: In the four special channels in the heart, the original sound of awareness is held by the wind and does not radiate outward, but remains within, only not clearly visible. Because the karma-wind moves outward in the channels, objects appear in awareness. It also abides in the original sound of the gathering of names, that is, it abides in the original sound of the four elements, consciousness, wisdom, and innate awareness. That very text says: From the four channels of arising, with flowing, shaking, and trembling, in the nature of a spark rising upward, five (the four wisdom channels connected with the wind), awareness is clear and distinct, it is the nature of all wisdoms. Roma and Kyangma all tremble, inside the empty glass tube, bright great wisdom abides. In the original sound of the gathering of names, with the nature of distinguishing all, from the beginning in the part of the body
