Since the primordial purity is without a basis for samsara and nirvana, it arises from the originally pure place, hence it is called suchness. Secondly, illustrating delusion and liberation through stories: Furthermore, from the Rangshar Tantra: "O you pure in the expanse, listen! The measure of the Buddha's intention should be grasped by these. In the past, in a country called Yangs Pa Chan, there was a teacher called Od Kyepa. He had two sons. It is said that they were imprisoned in an empty gorge, how amazing! Then, five soldiers came and destroyed the top of the stone castle, how amazing! The two sons were thrown into a pit, and an old hunchbacked woman closed the door, how amazing! Then, four people chased them and caught them, and the five people separated from their horses, how amazing! The two sons escaped on their own and killed the prison guards, how amazing! The two sons fled to a sunny place, collected taxes from the people. Twenty-one consorts conspired and fled to the temple of Samdhuk. Five people put on five suits of armor and guarded the door, so no one could come in, how amazing! Then, they looked at their faces in four mirrors, and they recognized themselves, how amazing! Then, they saw a house with eight doors, and they laughed at themselves, how amazing! Likewise, all these symbolic forms symbolize the meaning of wisdom." Thus it is said. Among them, the teacher Od Kyepa is the self-born wisdom. The two sons are the awareness of Kadak and the spontaneously accomplished wisdom. Being imprisoned in a gorge means that in the manifestation of spontaneous accomplishment, the wisdom mother and son are confused, and they are bound in samsara by ignorance. The five people destroying the top of the stone castle means that the five poisons cause awareness to move from its own place and cause it to fall into delusion. The two sons being locked in by the old woman means that awareness falls into the abyss of samsara, and ignorance closes the door, not allowing it to be liberated. The four people catching them and the five people separating from their horses means that the four wisdoms purify the conceptual thoughts and winds of the five afflictions. The four wisdoms are: the wisdom of liberation liberates afflictions, the wisdom of gathering gathers wisdom, the wisdom of discernment distinguishes between afflictions and wisdom, and the wisdom of action causes them to move into the dharmadhatu. The two sons escaping and killing the prison guards means that self-awareness recognizes itself, thereby destroying the obscurations or binding actions.
