Since it is devoid of expressive sounds and words, and because it does not exist as the essence of anything, words do not harm it. In the realm of sentient beings' self-grasping minds, various thoughts and ideas do not cease, and the harm of words is no different in essence. For the sake of ultimate and conventional terms. Thus it is said. The second meaning is to explain the supreme ground in detail, which has three parts: a general summary, a detailed explanation of each part, and a conclusion. First, the original ground, whose essence is pure from the beginning, like a flawless crystal ball, whose nature is spontaneously accomplished without being formed into objects or characteristics, and within the white is a subtle self-radiance that is deep and clear, but because there is no cause, it does not appear outwardly. The outer "རྒྱ་མ་རལ་བ" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, literal Chinese meaning), abides in the state of the youthful vase body. Its essence is empty from the beginning, and although there is no object, the subtle awareness, the self-radiance of the primordial radiance, is not obstructed, but is natural." "Because the nature is spontaneously accomplished, it abides as the basis of all appearances, but its own face does not appear outwardly, and the colors and forms of characteristics and patterns do not appear. In the space of the essence of original purity, the primordial radiance of spontaneously accomplished nature, the subtle self-radiance with deep clarity and wisdom, in the manner of one, different, and not different, the radiant and sublime spontaneously accomplished precious treasury, the realm of the youthful vase body, the essence, nature, and compassion, the three self-natures, abide sublimely. Because the essence is emptiness, it is not formed into objects or characteristics. Because the nature is clear, the primordial radiance does not abandon the self-face of appearance. Because compassion is awareness, the plan of knowing and expanding into wisdom abides without ceasing. In the Great Tantra of Auspicious Splendor, it is said: Before the enlightened Buddha appeared and the unenlightened sentient beings appeared, the self-born wisdom of awareness did not move from the ground, and it abided together with the three causeless appearances. Then, the wisdom of awareness itself spoke of the place of its own abiding. Alas! This vast expanse of great appearance is the great body of the unmoving Dharmakaya, abiding in the unerring Great Buddha. The essence body abides without ceasing, the essence is unchanging, the method is secret, unmoving, unwavering, unmoving, all appearances are perfected at once, all wisdom is perfected in an instant, all bodies abide in maturity, the light of

All appearances are clear without obscuration. In the appearance of reality, unobscured by the manner of appearance, the three—essence, nature, and compassion—are completely and continuously perfect, this is the Great Perfection. That great essence of reality abides like a Buddha's body, but there are no faces, eyes, or ears appearing. It abides like emptiness, but it is not like inert emptiness where nothing exists. It appears greatly like the five lights, but it is not divided into colors. It appears continuously, but it does not exist like a connection. It contemplates as if without beginning or end, but it does not cling to any direction. It appears as if untainted by parts, but it is not divided into categories. It appears like uninterrupted ornaments, and in its loftiness, there is no appearance of above or below. The appearance of nature is such that, it appears as vast but without bias, it appears as clear but without substance, it appears as blue but undivided, it appears as white but without clinging to categories, it appears as yellow but perfect with qualities, it appears as red but without interruption, it appears as green but perfect with qualities, it abides in the five colors themselves but without clinging to color, this is great. Like a circle without shape, like the uninterrupted without conditions, like the unpervaded with great self-radiance, like the self-illuminating with both inner and outer, like the effortless but naturally accomplished. The appearance of compassion is such that, it appears like emptiness but without ceasing clarity, without elaboration but with great elaboration, nature is uninterrupted but with great variety and uncertainty, clear without darkness, uninterrupted with great emptiness, naturally empty with universal manifestation, unmixed with complete appearance, pervading all with great unity, pure without ceasing delusion, complete with unique appearance. The realization of compassion abides without interruption. As it is said in the *Prasaṅgika*: The initial essence, nature, and compassion exist in three aspects. That essence abides as the body, in terms of Dharma, Enjoyment, and Emanation, without separation or distinction, in the naturally accomplished essence, the colors of the body and so on are beyond the realm of thought. Nature is the way of manifesting light, white, red, yellow, green, and blue are not characterized by marks or categories, but are naturally accomplished from the realm of the knowable without categories. The manifestation of compassion is various, without being fixed to any single form, therefore appearing in various ways.
