"That which is free from extremes is the birthplace of the superiors." Thus it is said. In the *All-Creating* [Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra]: "O yogi, fortunate one to enter into the one time! If the intention of the All-Creating King is shown, from the expanse of realization, remembering and familiarizing, without meditating and entering, give this prophecy!" Thus it is said. Regarding the single, non-elaborate awareness, the bond that dispels the crossroads of what can be designated in any way is: the single nature of reality is self-born wisdom. The single view is free from the extremes of elaboration. The single meditation is without abandoning or placing, without going or coming. The single conduct is without two of accepting or rejecting. The single result is free from the two of abandoning and attaining. This is the intention of self-born spontaneous accomplishment. If the essence of awareness, the single empty essence, is divided by the aspects of terminology, then the essence is empty, therefore the single dharmakaya. That itself, from the perspective of being free from the extremes of elaboration, is the view of the great perfection free from extremes. That itself, in the state of realizing one's own nature, without the knowledge of abandoning or placing, without scattering or gathering, without going or coming, clear and non-conceptual, is the single meditation of clear light. That itself, without the two of accepting or rejecting, the aspect of self-liberation of accepting and rejecting is the single conduct of non-duality. Because there is no samsara or nirvana in its essence, without hope or fear of abandoning or attaining, is the single result. As it says in the *Lion's Perfect Prowess*: "Conduct transcends the two of grasping and attachment. Meditation transcends the two of abandoning and placing. View transcends sides and factions. Result is free from the two extremes of abandoning and attaining." Thus it is said. Since everything is decided as self-born wisdom, binding in the great equal expanse is: appearance and existence, container and contents, samsara and nirvana, all phenomena are in the original state of reality, without moving from self-born wisdom, therefore know that nothing is established as a basis. In a dream, various things appear, and it seems that years, months, and eons have passed, but since self-awareness has not moved from the bed, it only appears as such, but there is no establishment. Similarly, all that appears as samsara and nirvana now, and it seems that a long time has passed, but since the essence has not moved from the sphere, know that there is no change in the original state. As it says in the *Tantra of Great Prowess and Perfect Qualities*: "Appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, all phenomena, from the beginning, are in the state of self-born wisdom, without moving, great prowess spontaneously accomplished, self-appearance of emptiness without substance." Thus it is said. With these, doubt and

The five bonds that liberate from the perilous path of extreme conceptualization are transcended. Now, from the clarity of one's own clear ocean-like luminosity, abide in the unwavering, great equality of one's own ground. For all phenomena that appear as various objects, do not think, "How should I place them?" but naturally relax, without acceptance or rejection, and spontaneously abide in the realm of the equality of dharmata. When awareness reveals its own clear face, the manner of appearance does not cease; rather, in a relaxed state, abide in the nature of self-aware awareness, free from acceptance and rejection. As the Great Garuda says: All dharmas are free from elaboration and without turbidity; this is the great key to effortless, self-liberation. The key to the cessation of causes, the vanishing of conditions, and the exhaustion of results is the realm of liberation that does not rely on anything else, but is liberated by itself. As the All-Creating King says: Without a manner of how to place it, without searching, placing it in its own place is meditation. Abiding in the ground of self-luminous, transparent nakedness, for the appearances that appear as red and white objects, without gathering the senses, without moving the eyes, without thinking of self, without conceptualizing others, abide in self-luminousness in the vast expanse. Just as images appear in a clear ocean, the body does not move, sit in the vajra posture, the eyes do not move, gaze clearly, the objects are not rejected, various appearances are clear, the mind does not conceptualize, self-severing acceptance and rejection, awareness abides in transparency. As the Jeweled Garland says: The very nature of awareness abides in unobstructed transparency, like the stars appearing in a clear ocean, without a time of dullness, it abides in various transparencies. Vastly liberated, raising the view in equal openness, expanding and elevating, in the mind free from acceptance and rejection, in the realm of the self-born wisdom of Kuntabhadra, the experience of the union of inner, outer, and intermediate with space arises, the samadhi of bliss, clarity, and non-elaboration arises. Just by recognizing this, one does not meditate on the object of focus. As Rötöng Sengge said: Relax the way of looking, the eyes also sometimes outward, sometimes inward, gazing far away from the realm of appearances, expand awareness, let the five sense gates naturally scatter, thus meditating, inner, outer, and intermediate become equal, the experience of the body merging with space, and the great experience of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptual transparency, the experience of naked, transparent awareness will arise, all appearances feel empty, clear, and transparent.
