From the play of diverse and unmixed forms, The emanation arises naturally, a wondrous magical meaning. It does not stir from the ever-good Samantabhadra, In the mind-essence of bodhi, free from perilous ground, Though the three bodies are spontaneously perfect without effort, It does not stir from the expanse, spontaneously accomplished, uncompounded. Though body, wisdom, and activity are spontaneously perfect, It is the vast expanse of the great assembly, the primordially complete, the great primordial shining, A field spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, without change. Even seeing the nature of reality from the state of dharmadhatu, Unobstructed knowing dawns as an ornament of the expanse. Without doing or accomplishing, it is the very nature of abiding from the beginning, Like the sun in the sky, a wondrous and amazing dharma. In this womb of the expanse, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, Samsara is Samantabhadra, nirvana is also good. In the space of Samantabhadra, samsara and nirvana are primordially absent. Appearance is Samantabhadra, emptiness is ever-good, In the space of Samantabhadra, appearance and emptiness are primordially absent. Birth and death are Samantabhadra, pleasure and pain are ever-good, In the space of Samantabhadra, pleasure, pain, birth, and death are absent. Self and other are Samantabhadra, permanence and annihilation are ever-good, In the space of Samantabhadra, self, other, permanence, and annihilation are absent. Clinging to absence as presence is labeled delusion, In the nature like a rootless dream, Attachment to the self-characteristics of samsara and nirvana is quite amusing! Everything is Samantabhadra, the great spontaneous perfection, Never mistaken, not mistaken, and will not become mistaken, Therefore, existence is merely a name, beyond the extremes of being and non-being. No one, nowhere, has ever been mistaken, Is not mistaken now, and will not become mistaken in the future. This is the view of the primordially pure three realms. Because there is no mistake, there is no dharma of non-mistake, Primordially spontaneously accomplished, great self-arisen awareness. Never liberated, not liberated, and will not become liberated, The past is merely a name, no one has ever been liberated, Will not be liberated, bondage is primordially absent. Pure like space, without limit, free from partiality, This is the view of complete liberation, primordial purity. In short, from the vast womb of the spontaneously accomplished expanse, Whatever samsara and nirvana arise as the power of play, From the very moment of arising, samsara and nirvana have never existed. Whatever dreams arise from the power of sleep, In reality, they are absent, the bed of self-aware bliss, Spreads out evenly in the great spontaneously equal vastness. The first chapter from the Treasury of Dharmadhatu Jewel, showing that samsara and nirvana do not stir from the expanse. The nature of the expanse is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, Without outer or inner, it spreads everywhere, Without end.
