The expanse of self-nature. Without doing and seeking, without placing and not placing. Here, awareness is placed in great expansion, but it is not as if there are things to be abandoned and adopted. If you grasp at it as "is," it is a delusion. Therefore, placing it in the expanse of the self-existing vajra essence, free from benefit and harm, you will surely realize that placing and not placing are non-dual, one. From Self-Liberation of Awareness: In the essence of true knowledge, there is no awareness of doing and acting. Grasping is the cause of straying. So it is said. The great self-abiding samadhi is symbolized by the four names of view, meditation, action, and result, which are beyond view, meditation, action, and result. The first is: In the unchanging, spontaneously accomplished dharma nature, with self-awareness free from objects, thoughts, seeking, and anger, when looking again and again, one sees that there is nothing to see. The unseeable awareness is the all-encompassing view. Here, in the essence of awareness, which is transparent and naked, one looks without distraction at the meaning that transcends the seer and the seen. From the All-Creating: Alas! The teacher of teachers, the All-Creating King (Kunjed Gyalpo), prophesied with unerring intention. Transcending addition and subtraction, in the essence of meaning, meditating and not meditating are like arguing in the sky. Not being distracted from the meaning of realization is its intention. It is not a thing, nor is it not a thing. It is not a direction, nor is it beyond direction, therefore, meditating and not meditating do not abide in any direction. If one realizes the meaning of the view that is beyond meditation, one will spontaneously accomplish the position of the unmade, equal dharma king. So it is said. Non-meditation, the meditation that transcends meditation is: In the unmeditated awareness, free from abandoning and not abandoning, when meditating again and again, one sees that there is nothing to meditate on. The non-meditation awareness is the all-encompassing meditation. The essence is naked awareness. From the Thorough Change: The characteristic appearance of meditation is: In the empty, clear awareness, the nature is not mixed with anything, the boundaries of grasping and the grasped are exhausted, and the dharma nature is self-nature pure. The appearance is not a delusion, in the pure nature of cause and condition, existence and non-existence are self-purified, the attachment to the objects of the five senses is purified, the grossness of the elements is purified, and the wisdom shows the appearance of increase through purification. From this is the dharma nature of cessation. So it is said. The way of meditation is: From the All-Creating: In the unmeditated dharma nature of enlightenment, because meditation and the meditated are non-dual, abiding in the unmeditated self-nature is meditation.

It is said. The conduct of the great expanse of clear Dharma nature, which transcends what is to be practiced and the practitioner, is: In the reality of non-duality, free from acceptance and rejection, if practiced again and again, one sees that there is nothing to practice. The unpracticed awareness is the all-encompassing conduct. Because the essence of awareness is free from doing and being done, one leaves the three doors naturally open to whatever arises in appearance and mind. As it is in the *All-Creating King*: Alas, mind is the essence of suchness; it has never been altered. In the natural state, it is free from all causes and conditions. Leave the three doors in a state of effortless ease. It is said. The result of effortless, primordially accomplished is: In the spontaneously present, free from hope and doubt, if practiced again and again, one sees that there is nothing to accomplish. The unaccomplished awareness is the all-encompassing result. This naked, still awareness of *zang ka* is the result of the spontaneously present Dharmakaya. To rest without moving from that state is: As it is in the *All-Creating King*: Alas, bodhisattva Vajra Lekpa, meditate now! Because the meaning of unborn purity appears, one does not see appearances as real, nor does one destroy them. Because appearances are self-liberated in the unborn, one does not meditate on emptiness, but is liberated by realizing suchness. Alas, the teacher of teachers, the All-Creating King, I, all the dharmas that appear, all of them, because I have prophesied unborn purity, realize the essence of how they arise. Alas, to the three-bodied teacher born from me, all say that the nature of mind is unborn, and although all strive for the meaning of no-self, the unborn is not realized by all beforehand. Therefore, in this teaching of the All-Creating King, knowing it, do not be distracted, but abide in the meaning. Do not enter by effort, do not purify the mind with antidotes. Do not fixate on objects, do not gather the mind of memory. Whatever arises, that itself is the meaning, so enter into the meaning of the All-Creating King. Alas, the teacher of teachers, the All-Creating King, has bestowed teachings on the uncorrected wheel of the mind. Yogis who realize the unborn without exception, do not strive on the ten natures. In the nature of the All-Creating Bodhicitta, because of knowing, there is no grasping and grasper, and because of not knowing, there is nothing to abandon. Because of realization, one gains mastery, and abiding in the meaning, the intention of the All-Creating King is spontaneously accomplished. It is said. Thus, the view, meditation, and conduct of the great abiding in one's own place
