Therefore, it is essential to master how to abide in the self-nature of enlightenment. Regarding the stages of how to avoid straying, it is said in 'Beyond Thought': The meditation that does not stray is when the sense gates are clear, the mind's conceptualization is not scattered, wisdom observes the nature of awareness itself, and it does not wander outward. It is not the clarity of appearances, not the emptiness of isolation, not the continuous bliss, not the indifference of abandonment, it is the clear rest of awareness, it is the path of practicing wrong paths, it is the ease with which clinging flows inward, it is the clinging of clear images, it is the transformation of colors and letters. If these do not fall into straying, it is the meditation that does not stray. Thus it is said. The clinging of clear images refers to the external appearances, giving rise to the distinction of 'this is what, that is what'. The transformation of colors and letters refers to the speculative clinging to the inner state of mind. The others are easy to understand. Naked awareness abiding is: unable to be expressed in words, without rigid thoughts, without artificiality or embellishment, the natural state, merging into the nature of reality, without characteristics, without meditation and the object of meditation, sinking and rising naturally liberated, self-born wisdom manifests. Naked awareness abiding, in Tögal, is abiding in the light of awareness of the bindu. Here, it is abiding in the true, transparent, and naked state of awareness, the key is extremely profound. When awareness abides in the state of clear like the ocean, the state of knowing, clear, and naked is recognized, and without moving from there, then the nature of reality without interval and inner and outer will manifest as one. From the unwritten: Naked awareness abiding is the oral instruction, this is the ultimate of secrets. Thus it is said. The realization of the single decisive appearance is: seeking the method of abiding of awareness itself, it is the great secret among secrets, liberating to the other shore with the power of appearance, not bound by attachment, it is self-born appearance. Thus it is said. This is called the single bindu, transparent and naked appearance. In the tantra it is said: The single bindu, without elaboration, transcends the distinctions of mind. Thus it is said. Naked appearance abiding is: not abandoning, not embellishing, the play of awareness. In the nature of reality, there is no distinction or boundary. Accomplishing without practice, manifesting in the realm of reality. Not abandoning samsara, in self-born wisdom, it is seen by the yoga of the great perfection's power. The clarity of awareness

When the appearances of objects arise unceasingly, like in a mirror, the power of compassion in awareness also arises unceasingly. It recognizes objects, grounds, and paths, and seems like a direct encounter. Although its essence is non-conceptual, when it appears as conceptual thoughts, do not reject them, do not gather them, and do not leave them in between. By letting them be in their natural state, they do not stray from the nature of reality. Because clear awareness is the basis of all appearances, if it appears as the five objects, it is self-illuminated as the five Buddhas. If it appears as the five elements, it is self-established as the five great mothers. If it appears as the five poisons, it arises in the realm of great wisdom. Therefore, whatever arises is not other than one's own nature. Since one's own self abides in the dharmakaya emptiness, knowing that there is nothing to grasp onto, there is nothing to obscure. This is called the intention of Vajrasattva, the dharmakaya without clarity or obscuration. From the letterless: The great method of directly looking at the appearances of awareness, Is the basis of all great appearances. The five elements appear as the path of the five Buddhas, The five great ones themselves are clearly seen as the appearance of the mother. In the state of non-distraction, rest in the great non-grasping. The five great wisdoms of the great secret mantra, Rest in the immovable realm with the five great ones. The awareness of Vajrasattva is to look directly, Shows all the appearances of the dharmakaya. By directly seeing the appearances of pure wisdom, The secret method of resting is the state of directly looking at the method. Do not abandon the five elements of the appearance of the body, Do not abandon, rest in your own meaning. This method is to prevent conditions from obscuring awareness, it is the instruction on how conditions appear as the clarity of awareness. It is important for all three types of practitioners: beginners, intermediate practitioners, and those who have gained some stability. For the first type, it is to transform the harm of conditions into the path; for the second type, it is to train the power of the path, like appearances in a mirror; for the third type, it is a method of spontaneously arising to enhance power without distraction. That is, when the objects of the five senses appear, or when conceptual thoughts, attachments, or strong emotions arise in the mind, it is when awareness is overflowing. In the midst of clarity and purity, the essence of emptiness is nakedly revealed, and this is clarity. As it is extensively explained in the Ratnakuta Sutra: When the nature of reality appears as having characteristics, my qualities naturally appear, and I do not take or reject them. When beings experience suffering, my happiness naturally appears, and if there is no distinction between happiness and suffering at that time, my qualities are perfected. Hell
