There is no path to tread. Since I am from the very beginning free from grasping, Therefore, "subtle" cannot be established as a name. Since my form pervades all, Therefore, there is no such thing as "two" from the very beginning. Since I am from the very beginning self-born wisdom, Therefore, others cannot determine me. Since I am the essence of the bodhichitta of all, Therefore, the secret instructions are not found elsewhere. Since I have transcended all imputation and defamation, I recite the 'la' of all dharmas. Since there is no other place without me, I recite 'la' without view or meditation. Since there is nothing to protect other than me, I recite 'la' without vows to protect. Since there is nothing to seek other than me, I recite 'la' without activities to seek. Since there is no place to abide other than me, I recite 'la' without grounds to purify. Since I have no obscurations from the very beginning, I recite 'la' as self-born wisdom. Since I am the unborn nature of reality, I recite 'la' as subtle nature of reality. Since there is nothing to traverse other than me, I recite 'la' without a path to traverse. All Buddhas, sentient beings, existence, world and its contents, Since their essence, bodhi, arises from me, I recite 'la' as primordially non-dual. In order to ascertain self-born wisdom, I recite 'la' as the great empowerment descending. Since all dharmas are not apart from me, I, the all-creating one, recite the 'la' of all. Thus it was said. Now, since realization is vast like the sky, I recite 'la' as the great non-action in dharma. From the manifestation of the nature, I recite 'la' as the great exhaustion of dharma, beyond mind: All dharmas, whether liberated or not from the very beginning, The nature of reality, whether pure or impure, The nature of mind, whether free from elaboration or not, The original nature, whether established or not. This is the essence of one's own awareness, the groundless, naked, exhausted dharma of emptiness, thus it goes. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: Since the limbs have not moved, it has already gone, The path of going is already traversed. The spoken word is inexpressible, From the very beginning, it transcends speech and thought. The scattering of thoughts is empty from the very beginning, From the very beginning, it abides in great meditation. The stains are self-purified, It abides in the great stainless, transparent state. So it is. Since hope and fear are realized as beyond mind, I recite 'la' in great mental ease and spaciousness: Samsara and nirvana, whether dual or non-dual in nature, Thought and speech

Whether transcending or not transcending all, whether faults of affirmation and negation vanish or not, whether the view of realization is realized or not, in the present awareness there is no dharma to be done, therefore, in the nakedness of non-action, there is no way to modify it with dharma. From "Awareness Self-Liberated": In the nature of true awareness, there is no awareness of doing and acting. In the very cause of straying through grasping, on the path there is no negation or affirmation. There is no dependent awareness whatsoever, there is no grasping at vast limitations and directions. And from "A Rosary of Pearls": Because there is no doing or arising, from the very beginning it is free from doing and acting. Thus, realizing non-action as the great exhaustion in the mind, transcending the mind's focus, thought, expansion, and contraction, repeatedly practicing: Whether meditating on the meaning of dharmata or not, because there is no acceptance or rejection, whether examining or not, whether the fruit of the natural state is accomplished or not, whether traversing the grounds and paths or not, realizing the nature of awareness as empty and clear, unpolluted by dharma, therefore, one should not examine it with the dharma of "this is it" and so on. From "The Letterless": Not a manifester, separate from the side of manifestation; not an obscurer, transcending the dharma of obscuration; not diminishing, unobstructed, pervading the ten directions; not striving, separate from the dharma of striving and accomplishment; not one, separate from the dharma of many. And from "The All-Creating King": Unfabricated genuineness is the dharmata of all, apart from dharmata there is no Buddha, the name Buddha is a mere designation. Dharmata has no other activity, it is one's own mind, one's own mind unfabricated is said to be the dharmakaya. Because the unfabricated is primordially unborn, therefore the meaning of unborn cannot be sought or accomplished, seeking and accomplishing will not accomplish non-action. Thus, realizing awareness as the naked, unobscured, repeatedly practicing without separation or attainment: Whether separating from all obscurations or not, whether the nature of generation and completion is perfected or not, whether the fruit of liberation is attained or not, whether wandering in the six realms of samsara or not, in the nature of this awareness, there is no abandonment, attainment, liberation, or confusion. Therefore, now not hoping to attain Buddhahood upwards, therefore not meditating on the generation and completion stages of that path. Not fearing wandering in samsara downwards, therefore not doing purification and confession of the obscurations of that cause. Having exhausted karma in non-action and non-dharma, therefore abandoning samsara and nirvana.
