Just like that, the effort of abandoning relatives that is done now is also the same; there is nothing other than awareness, and there is no doing or achieving at all, because it does not move from the state of awareness itself. Like the intelligence of Zla-ba rGyal-mtshan, other than the delusion of clinging to appearance as real, there is not even a particle of contact or nearness to the nature of reality. Therefore, there is no effort to be made on the nature of mind, which is like the sky, because it cannot be transformed by cause and effect. Because self-originated wisdom abides as the basis of all, all phenomena arise from it, but it itself is beyond the extremes of good and evil. The *Prasaṅgika* says: "Such a way of abiding, if explained to *śrāvakas* and *pratyekabuddhas*, they would be terrified and faint. Therefore, it should be kept extremely secret. Phenomena without imputation are called the basis because they have no place of origin. Because there is no abiding in it, neither existence nor emptiness abides. Light and darkness, existence and non-existence, do not arise. Because there is no going or coming, there is no end. Because it is not bound by effort and striving, it is spontaneous and natural. Because it is without limitation or partiality, there is no establishment of good or evil. It is for the sake of eliminating both good and evil. Because it does not abide in *saṃsāra* or *nirvāṇa*, the nature of reality is emptiness, pervading all. In wisdom abiding in its own nature, there is no distinction in the form of three." And, the *rTsal rdzogs* says: "Self-awareness is primordially immutable, so the two, good and evil, do not obscure me. In the self-originated, without cause or condition, there is no need to practice conditioned *dharmas*." So it is. Therefore, what is beyond cause, effect, effort, and striving is: there is no object to be sought, there is no seeing through meditation, there is no place to be accomplished, it does not come from elsewhere, there is no going or coming, so it is the equality of the *dharmakāya*, merged into the realm of the spontaneously perfect great *thig-le*. The essence of the nature of mind, which is like the sky, is the single *dhātu thig-le*; because all phenomena are contained within that state, it cannot be sought with the ten self-natures, etc., which is the *dharmadhātu* being without limit. The *Kun-byed* says: "This *bodhicitta*, the essence of all, is spontaneously accomplished from its own nature, so there is no need to seek or accomplish it with the ten self-natures. My nature is like the sky in all ways. In the sky, all do not strive. In the sky, all do not seek."

Laya ru! All space transcends all effort and accomplishment, Likewise, the heart essence of the All-Creating Bodhichitta, Because I am beyond all realms of activity, There is nothing to see in me, and from the beginning, nothing to meditate on. Likewise, these ten natures also, Have no action on me who has passed beyond. Those who possess the vehicle of cause and effect, If they seek me with the ten natures, Wishing to see me and my nature, It is like losing a step in the sky and falling to the ground. Traveling with the ten natures will lead to downfall, My nature is definitely shown to its source, Because I am beyond all realms of activity, Just like there is no view and no meditation, Likewise, the ten natures are meaningless, Do not misunderstand that the ten natures have meaning. Because I am not an object to be seen by looking, Do not look, but leave it as it is. So it is said. Now, from the teaching that all vehicles are gathered in the mind of awareness, Bodhichitta, the way the three small ones are gathered is: The teachings of the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, Having decided that there is no self and no mine, The meaning of the view is the same, like the sky free from elaboration. The teachings of Ati, Supreme Secret, Great Yoga, In the vast sky without distinction of self and other, Naturally abiding the self-arisen wisdom as it is, All those views are gathered in this supreme essence. The view of the Hearers is that all phenomena, internal and external, are without self of a person, like the sky; the Solitary Realizers, on top of that, do not take half of the phenomena; and the Bodhisattvas consider the grasping and the grasped, that is, the phenomena and the self of a person, to be the nature of the sky. In the Sutra of the Wheel of Non-Returning, it says: "Ignorance is like the sky, All phenomena are without characteristics." That realization also, in the Great Perfection, the self-arisen wisdom, the empty-clear self-arisen wisdom is gathered in the essence of the sky, therefore, because the suchness of all phenomena is gathered, the view is gathered here. The All-Creating One says: "In the nature of the All-Creating Bodhichitta, Everything is gathered without remainder, like the sky, free from elaboration." So it is said. The gathering of the three middles also, the three classes of Kriya, Upa, and Yoga also, From self and deity and Samadhi, offering clouds, The three doors are purified, desiring accomplishment as one. The Vajra Peak, the Sutra King, the Secret also, appear
