For those individuals, in order to lead them into the realm of primordial suchness, the three lesser vehicles of Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas are taught. The three intermediate stages of Kriyā, Upayoga, and Yoga are naturally accomplished by their own nature. The three great stages of Mahā, Anu, and Ati are primordially apparent. By differentiating the doors of the Dharma of the cause and effect vehicles, fortunate beings are guided to the three enlightenments. All must ultimately enter the meaning of Vajragarbha, entering this great and wondrous secret. The pinnacle of all is the unchanging, supreme clear light, known as the vehicle of manifest enlightenment essence. Dharma also has two aspects: that which involves acceptance and rejection, action, and that which arises as play from potency, taught to purify the habitual tendencies of mind and mental factors. These are considered the purification of wisdom from mind. The great Dharma without acceptance, rejection, or action is the essence of self-arisen wisdom, the nature of Bodhicitta, without wavering from its direct state, manifesting directly, so there is no need to strive externally. Abiding within oneself, one does not seek elsewhere. This is the meaning of the very essence of the sun, considered to abide in the unwavering state of self-abiding clear light. The other is shown to be like the original achiever of the sun through the effort of clouds and dispelling darkness. Therefore, the difference between these two is like heaven and earth. Nowadays, those elephants who boast of Atiyoga mistakenly believe that wandering thoughts are Bodhicitta. This ignorance is entirely a realm of darkness, far from the meaning of self-nature great perfection. If one does not even know potency and what arises from potency, what need is there to speak of the essence of Bodhicitta? Here, the primordially pure Bodhicitta, the truth of Dharmata in the ultimate realm, is Prajñāpāramitā beyond words and thoughts, naturally unmoving, self-nature clear light, from the very beginning free from wandering elaborations, called essence, like the heart of the sun." "Its potency is the uninterrupted manner of appearance, awareness that is transparent, free from conceptualization and speculation, clearly clear yet without grasping or being grasped. The awareness that arises from potency is the elaborating mind, which generates grasping and being grasped, possessing various habitual tendencies, grasping the non-existent as existent, the five objects," "the five afflictions that grasp the selfless as self, all the illusory appearances of the outer and inner worlds, appearing in samsara also arise again from potency.

The very appearance of grasping at mistaken understanding, from where it does not come, to where it does not go, not abiding anywhere, in the vast expanse of Dharmata, understanding that the three realms are completely liberated is the intent of the Buddhas. The words of Ati Lhundrup Dorje Nyingpo, arise from the vast expanse of Kunsang. In the essence of pure Bodhicitta, there is no object of seeing, nor is there any Dharma to be seen. There is not even a speck of dust of the seer and the seen. There is no mind to meditate, nor is there any Dharma to be meditated upon. Since the practitioner and the practice are non-dual and spontaneously accomplished, there is not even a speck of dust of the fruit to be attained. Since there is no place to go in the non-existent Dharma, therefore, the path to be traveled is also originally non-existent. Since the great clear light Thigle has been accomplished, the mandala created by the arising and gathering of conceptual thoughts, mantras and recitations, empowerments and vows are non-existent. The stages of completion, such as the gradual gathering, etc., are also non-existent. For the body and wisdom that have been accomplished from the beginning, there is no cause and effect of contrived, sudden, and accidental occurrences. If these exist, then it is not self-arisen wisdom. Because it is contrived, it will eventually be destroyed, spontaneously accomplished, not contrived, what is the reason for explaining this? Therefore, in the essence of the ultimate Dharmadhatu, transcending cause and effect, there are no ten kinds of nature. Without effort and accomplishment, the true meaning of mind essence, know that all elaborations of existence and non-existence are pacified. From the Treasury of Dharmadhatu, the fifth chapter on transcending effort, accomplishment, cause, and effect is complete. Just as the essence of the sun's rays gathers in the center of the sun, the root of all Dharmas gathers in the Bodhicitta. Samsara and Nirvana, the impure delusion of the vessel and its contents, wherever they arise, examining the realm of their basis and abode, all gather in the baseless, primordially liberated mind essence. In the essence of the Dharmata, the vast expanse of the primordial space, delusion and non-delusion, words and meanings, all transcend and gather. Pure self-appearance, body and pure lands, as well as wisdom activities, wonderful displays, all gather in the self-arisen state, without gathering or scattering. All of Samsara and Nirvana gather in the Bodhicitta. Like the sun in the sky, empty and clear, not contrived, it is the primordial, self-arisen, vast space. The vast space of mind essence, in the unchanging state of space, the playful, uncertain, is the power of Bodhicitta. Being able to control all vehicles of Samsara and Nirvana, the one uncreated Dharma subdues all, there is no other object that has become an edge, Dharmata is Bodhicitta.
