The extensive display of what includes the earth: The essence of the Dharmakaya is self-originated wisdom. All appearances are the ocean of omniscient wisdom. In the primordial expanse, it dwells as a single bindu. The essence of awareness, primordially pure, dwells as the heart of the Dharmakaya. Its manifestation here is called the secret chamber of the precious, primordially pure Dharmakaya. Because the single bindu of inseparable form and wisdom dwells free from elaboration, it transcends the scope of thought, speech, and intention, and is the sole domain of the Buddhas. Apart from the mere aspect of the clear and subtle manifestation of wisdom, there is not even the slightest establishment of form and wisdom as separate entities." "Of the three—essence, nature, and compassion—since essence abides as form, the manifestations of the three kayas are not characterized by distinct marks. Since nature is the manifestation of luminosity, it is not characterized by distinct colors. Since compassion manifests as wisdom, its aspects do not enter into objects; thus, form and wisdom are merely aspects, and the three kayas are the actual presence of essence, nature, and compassion." The Thalgyur states: "Moreover, since essence abides as form, the rains of dharma, enjoyment, and emanation, without separation or distinction, are established from the very descent. Form, color, and so forth are beyond the scope of mind. Nature is the mode of manifesting light. From white, red, yellow, green, and blue, there are no distinct marks; it is established from the descent of undifferentiated knowledge. From the various manifestations of compassion, there is no certainty of one particular kind; since it appears in various ways, it is called the ground." Furthermore, in relation to the essence of the sole Dharmakaya, since it is not established anywhere, that which ultimately reaches the point of exhaustion is also that itself. Although the result cannot be expressed, "When all phenomena reach the point of exhaustion, the limit of one's own establishment is also destroyed. At this time, the guru's instructions vanish. The limits of view, meditation, and conduct are exhausted, so there is no appearance as dharma. Since the continuum of form and wisdom is severed, there is neither Buddha nor sentient being. In short, nothing remains. Since there is no going, there is no coming." Furthermore, the Klong Drugpa states: "I have shown the fruit arising in the three times; hold it well in your mind. By familiarizing yourself with the sound of the Dharmakaya, empty and clear, pervading, your own body is liberated as one." Therefore, at this time, abiding as the sole Dharmakaya, Samantabhadra is the primordial protector.

Having attained accomplishment, in that state, generating the intention for the benefit of others is called Vajradhara. As it is said in the tantra itself: This is the fruit of all Buddhas of the three times, the essence of Samantabhadra. Whoever becomes familiar with this fruit of the Buddhas will also become the glorious Vajradhara. The primordial protector, immaculate and pure, arising spontaneously from the sphere of light, is the embodiment of the activities of all Buddhas, attaining the body of the great supreme secret. The fortunate one who does not turn back from that, possessing the yoga of knowing, intelligence, ability, and power, reaches the pinnacle of all fruits, equal in fortune to me, Samantabhadra. Thus it is said. Thus, in clearly showing the Dharmakaya itself, there are two aspects: the basis, which is the actual Dharmakaya, and the dependent, which is the extensive explanation of the various categories of wisdom. Among these, the explanation of the basis, the Dharmakaya, has three aspects: essence, definition, and division. The essence of the Dharmakaya is the essence of self-arising awareness-wisdom, which possesses both purity and space, is free from all extremes of elaboration, and is immutable. As it is said in Self-Arising Awareness: Immutable, unceasing, and pervasive, these three are the essence of the Dharmakaya. The definition is that the ultimate object of pursuit is the Dharma of emptiness and clarity, primordial purity, and it is the body or space from which all bodies and wisdom arise, therefore it is the Dharmakaya. As it is said in the tantra itself: Imperishable, emptiness, and clarity, these three are the definition of the Dharmakaya. In terms of division, although it is indivisible because its own nature transcends the extremes of elaboration, it is not contradictory to make divisions in relation to certain aspects of qualities or differences. Therefore, dividing into branches that distinguish particulars, there are two divisions: the general division of the nature of the five perfections, and the specific division of the nature of the five bodies, speech, mind, qualities, and activities. The first, dividing by various transformations, in the state of the Dharmakaya's Dharmakaya, the realms are inconceivable, the place is the nature of reality beyond thought, the samadhi is the great immovable samadhi, the retinue is the diverse non-dual nature, the teaching is the inexpressible nature of reality, the time is the immutable nature of reality at any time. In the state of the Dharmakaya's Sambhogakaya, the realms are free from dust and without impurity, the place is the cessation of memory and mental thought, the samadhi is without mind and mental desires, the retinue is
