In short, immaculate and utterly pure, it abides inherently in the great secret of all Buddhas. Thus it is said. If the wisdom of knowing is non-dual, what difference is there from inert matter? Or else, it becomes utterly empty, this is merely a transformation. Thus it is said. That is, the arising and ceasing of the mind and mental events, along with the eight aggregates of the all-pervasive conceptualization, the basis of cessation, the very nature of awareness, manifests as the body of great wisdom. From the Dharmakaya, the Rupakaya appears outwardly, remaining as long as Samsara and space exist. As it says in the Engaging in Bodhisattva Deeds: "The dry firewood of knowable objects, when completely burned and extinguished, is the Dharmakaya of the Victorious Ones. At that time, there is neither birth nor cessation. The cessation of mind is directly realized as the body." And: "The peaceful body becomes clear like a wish-fulfilling tree, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, it does not discriminate. To liberate beings, it is constant for the sake of worldly prosperity. This is free from elaboration and yet apparent." As it is said. Explaining the specific reasons, there are three aspects: the reason for obscuration when the self-arisen wisdom itself arises as a play from its own power, and the reason for dispelling that obscuration; the reason for attaining Buddhahood by recognizing that the Dharmakaya naturally arises as one is liberated from the confines of limitations; and the reason for benefiting beings with compassion after attaining Buddhahood. The first is to generally show how the obscurations caused by one's own power and play are purified. The specific explanation of the obscuration itself, and the purification itself along with the reasons, are the three aspects. How to purify the obscuration caused by the arising of one's own power, by showing the key points: "Although the orb of the sun and moon in the center of the sky is clear and bright, it is completely obscured by the essence of thick clouds of ignorance, so the way that enlightenment exists within oneself is not apparent." When the realm of the Buddha's own nature, the Sugatagarbha, the essence of mind, is naturally clear, like the orb of the sun and moon. Due to the power of ignorance, from the power of awareness, it arises as grasper and grasped, and the order of the container and its contents, encompassed by the five objects such as form, arises as the play of mind and mental events, like clouds, so although the self-nature is clear and without obscuration, it appears as if obscured, like the sun and clouds. The realm of sudden defilements makes the self-appearance of the Dharmakaya unclear.

It is taught that such Dharmakaya, which is inherent, is made manifest by removing adventitious stains: Like great clouds placed in the sky, naturally clear. Without effort, the clouds of cause and effect are cleared away. In the center of the sky, the essence of Bodhi arises from itself. According to the order of faculties, the vehicles are different. The methods of purifying stains are also different. Here, it is made according to the power of those whose faculties are very excellent and wonderful. The key to self-settling is that without effort or exertion, the great natural wind causes the Dharma of Samsara, the illusion of cause and effect, along with all the clouds of habitual tendencies, to be separated in the Dhatu, and when it is not abandoned but is self-purified, like the sun obscured by dense clouds, it does not appear. In an instant when the clouds are cleared away, it appears clearly and without obscuration in the center of the sky. Likewise, the Dharmakaya, which is spontaneously accomplished and unconditioned, is inherent. In the instant of being free from adventitious obscurations, the appearance of body and wisdom naturally arises in oneself. The sun that never sets shines clearly, and the Dharmakaya with two purities is spontaneously accomplished. It is said. From the Lion's Complete Skill: If there is no obscuring tree of appearance, wisdom is clear at the end. So it is said. The spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya has no good or bad in the three times: first, when sentient beings, second, when practicing the path, and finally, when becoming a Buddha. Just as the sun does not change for better or worse when it is obscured by clouds, or slightly liberated, or completely liberated. In the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: Thusness is in all, there is no difference between before and after, but it is purified by all obscurations. So it is said. In the Two Examinations it says: Sentient beings are Buddhas, but they are obscured by adventitious stains. If they are removed, they are Buddhas. As it is said. The way in which it is obscured by the manifestation of one's own power: The essence is clear like the sun in the expanse of the Dharmadhatu. The power is like rays, all appear without distinction. When heat pervades the earth and lakes, the vapor manifests as the play of clouds. Thus, the essence and power are also obscured. The unpurified play of self-power from the essence obscures the Suchness of the heart essence in oneself. The confused appearances of the vessel and essence of existence are inconceivable. The appearance of the sun being obscured by clouds also originates from the power of the sun. The power of sunlight
