Like cutting through (afflictions). Oneself is the greatest antidote to oneself. Through realizing the self-nature of Dzogchen, Whatever one becomes accustomed to in this way, By leaving it unfound, one finds all meanings. By not meditating, great bliss increases. One directly knows in self-nature. When this (awareness) meets with anyone, Even those with unbroken vows and sins, By becoming accustomed to this (awareness), they are liberated, Without any doubt, Nara Kana (place name). Thus it is said. The vajra of the sky without taking or rejecting good or bad, All afflictions, karma, and habitual tendencies, Are all displays arising as play from the essence. Considering the antidote as good, the path of liberation itself, Is also a display arising as play from the essence. Since both arise as wisdom from the essence, It is crucial to recognize and rest in the natural state without alteration. The speed is the same, the pace is the same, and the shaking from the ground is the same. Since causes and conditions arise, conditioned phenomena do not transcend cause and effect, Self-settling, letting be, the cycle of cause and effect is crucial. When various thoughts of what should be abandoned arise, And the antidote that eliminates them, all good thoughts, are equally arising as play from the essence of awareness, so without good or bad, without taking or rejecting, it is crucial to rest in one's own state. That is to say, these two, good thoughts and bad thoughts, arise in the state of awareness, and when they discriminate on objects, the speed is the same, so there is no difference in how they appear to stop and naturally vanish. These two, right now, in the state of awareness, appear as helpers of appearance, there is no difference. In the beginning, there is no difference in how they appear to shake from the ground and then appear or arise clearly. Both the good thought as the antidote side and the bad thought as the side to be abandoned, it is crucial to cycle cause and effect in the state of awareness with great self-liberation and letting be. The good thoughts of the path as the antidote, such as view, meditation, conduct, and result, and all the deluded bad thoughts to be abandoned, since there is no root in the beginning, even if you search, there is no end. Now, they appear without being there, if you examine them, they do not exist, but if you do not examine them, the number exceeds thought and speech. Ultimately, there is no coming and going, so the essence is free from the end of searching, and since cause and effect are endless, there is no time to reach the end. Except for letting be and great self-settling, there is no time to end and complete. As the great Garuda said: Who wants the fruit of a path without a foundation? Because of wanting (the fruit), it obscures the path of liberation. The elimination of emptiness and darkness, and existence and non-existence themselves. The four, permanence, annihilation, cause and effect, are eight in total. It is the same as the boundless space. Wanting to search for the end

What is it? It's like a bird trying to find the edge of the sky, it can't be found." "That which cannot be found, no one can alter. This knowledge, which is without elaboration, has no end." "Holding the lineage of the King of Vehicles and concealing the thunderbolt teachings from the foolish is: This is the very essence of the supreme secret vehicle." "Do not speak to the foolish, keep it extremely secret. Due to slander, the essential teachings will be distorted. They will fall into slander and wrong understanding. Those who leak secrets will fall into endless evil realms. Therefore, keep the lineage of the King of Vehicles extremely secret. Show and entrust it to the fortunate and holy ones. This wonderful lineage of the King of Vehicles should be kept secret from the unworthy, shown to the worthy, and entrusted to the supreme of the fortunate Vajra Essence. For the unworthy, there are five aspects: nature, classification, method of secrecy, faults of not keeping secret, and benefits of keeping secret. The nature of the unworthy is that they have not become vessels for the profound Dharma, that is, they are not entitled to share in the Dharma. The classification includes ordinary people who have no karmic connection with the Dharma, those who are timid and fearful and have entered the common vehicle, and those who proclaim secrets at inappropriate times and places, those who leak secrets, these three. For those of the type who leak secrets, they are advised to keep the meaning of this great secret. Because those unworthy and foolish ones will slander the Dharma because of this, thereby creating the karma of endlessly falling into evil realms, and this karma is heavier than the five inexpiable sins. In the *Uttaratantra* it says: 'Whoever repeatedly associates with evil friends, harbors ill will towards the Sugatas, kills parents and Arhats, does what should not be done, and divides the Sangha. If one truly contemplates the nature of Dharma, one will quickly be liberated from it. Whoever's mind is always hateful towards the Dharma, how can there be liberation for them?' And so on. The one who leaks secrets, immediately after death, is born in the Avici hell for sentient beings. Their tongue is plowed by a burning iron plow on a field of five hundred yojanas, and there is the fault of doing so. As the *Lion's Complete Strength* says: 'The one who leaks secrets, plows the field on the speaking tongue, and will experience great suffering. Therefore, this definite meaning should be kept secret.' And so on. The method of secrecy, in general, the place of secrecy...
