In the commentary on the "Later Definitive Tantra," it says, "This tantra generally emphasizes the activities of body and speech, therefore it is called the Action Tantra." In the Su Siddhi Kara, it says, "When engaging in activities, this body, after being wiped with earth, enters the great, stainless water, and is washed as desired." That is, the activities of the body include three great baths along with subtle baths, changing clothes three times, eating three kinds of food, fasting, cleanliness and asceticism, differences in posture such as the lotus position, and binding mudras. The activities of speech mainly involve recitation, and the mind cultivates by viewing oneself as a servant and the deity as the lord, hence it is the Action Tantra. In the Dpung bzangs, it says, "After eating on time and bathing on time, offering garlands, flowers, lamps, incense, and perfumes, and offerings without meat and alcohol, sit on a cushion of kusha grass and begin recitation." It also says, "In order to achieve meditative bliss, the Tathagata taught fasting." In the Grwa lnga, it says, "The cleanliness of body and speech, the third is the cleanliness of mind, the fourth is speaking the truth, and the fifth is external cleanliness." Secondly, the Conduct Tantra, also known as the Upa Tantra, involves practicing the activities of body and speech equally, and cultivating by viewing oneself and the deity as friends. In the Condensed Meaning of the Manifest Enlightenment of Vairocana, it says, "This tantra is called the Conduct Tantra because it disparages cleanliness and so on, and acts contrary to worldly customs." That is, the activities of body and speech are diverse, and the cultivation of the mind is practiced equally. Thirdly, the Yoga Tantra, also known as the Yoga Tantra, does not mainly teach the activities of body and speech, but mainly teaches the activities of the mind. Scholar Kunga Nyingpo said, "This Yoga Tantra mainly teaches meditation, therefore it teaches recitation as desired." In the Condensed Meaning of Illuminating Suchness, it says, "This tantra mainly teaches meditative concentration, therefore it is called the Yoga Tantra." That is, one contemplates oneself as the Samaya being, with the Wisdom Deity residing within, and cultivates equally. Fourthly, the Great Yoga

The Tantras are, as the Mahāyoga Tantra says, mainly showing the activity of the mind as great wisdom. Because there is no acceptance or rejection, the activities of body and speech are also practiced with the five desires as a means. As Guhyasamāja says: "Difficult asceticism and vows are unbearable, even if practiced, they will not be accomplished. Relying on all desirable qualities, one will attain siddhis." And as the Chakrasamvara says: "Therefore, happiness is obtained by happiness, the supreme happiness should be practiced." And as Āryadeva says: "To obtain the fruit of great bliss, there is no other means than the means of great bliss. For this purpose, one should practice the bliss of having eight great powers with the bliss of food and lodging." The eight powers are, as the Secret Gathering says: "The power of body, the power of speech, the power of mind, and likewise action, the power of miraculous powers that go everywhere, whatever one wants, the eight meanings of dwelling and distinction." And as the Chakrasamvara says: "Subtle, vast, and able to be subtle," "Able to act, great self, making joy and delight, everything becomes free, doing whatever one wants, the eight meanings of power." There are three ways of practicing, among which, the power of the mind, the special meaning is the subtle wind of wisdom, the place of the central channel. Everything is mixed into wisdom, so the three most subtle things. When the life-force wind enters the Avadhūti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), the wisdom of seeing all phenomena of samsara and nirvana as free from elaboration arises in the central channel, and the central channel can be seen. At that time, by the interdependent connection of the wind of wisdom gathering in the central channel, miraculous powers and direct perception arise, the dualistic grasping of self-nature disappears, and the wheel of clear light is continuous. The power of the body, such as miraculous powers, is capable of going wherever one wants to go, and is capable of action. The joy of not having two parents, the self that can control, the ability to act on the meaning, the three. When holding the wind of wisdom in the central channel, by using the clouds of offerings of Samantabhadra, enjoyment is gathered, and the body adorned with marks and signs appears, and the ability to transform and benefit sentient beings as they are subdued, all appear as one's own appearance. The power of speech is the ability to control whatever kind of Dharma one wants.
