And, by equally realizing the purity of self-nature, it becomes supreme. Without abandoning afflictions in their self-nature, but with purity, the two accumulations are quickly reconciled and perfected, thereby accomplishing liberation in one lifetime. Thus, just as the means are superior, it should be known that the wisdom established by those means is also superior when practicing the path. In short, it should be understood that there are three ways: taking the secret of mind as the path, taking the secret of speech as the path, and taking the secret of body as the path. As it is said in the Tantra of Accomplished Wisdom: "From the Great Vehicle of the cause, Of the paths of body, speech, and mind, The secret mantra is supreme among secrets, It should be known as extremely superior." That is, in terms of characteristics, the appearance of the body is the nature of illusion, and there is no action of the body that does not enter virtue in an ordinary way. In mantra, the secret of the body is the phenomenal world, deities and palaces, and the body is perfected as a mandala, and it is superior because actions such as mudras and dances are used as the path. In terms of characteristics, speech is empty like an echo in a valley, and speech is restrained or restricted from entering, and cutting off speech enters virtue. In mantra, the secret of speech is knowing that sound is the nature of vowels and consonants (Tibetan: ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི།,Sanskrit Devanagari: अलि कलि,Sanskrit Romanization: ali kali,Literal meaning: Ali Kali), thereby raining down the nectar of Dharma, and speech originally abides in the mandala of speech, so sound and words naturally appear as mantras, and the power of recitation is unobstructed and accomplishes meaning, therefore it is superior. In terms of characteristics, it is widely proclaimed that thoughts and concepts have no self-nature, and after the ordinary thoughts of the mind are scattered and gathered, they are deliberately restrained, and shamatha and vipassana are cultivated. In mantra, the secret of mind is that thoughts and concepts appear as the play of dharmata, therefore the mind appears as self-luminous and self-born wisdom, therefore, meditation becomes a continuous yoga like a river. Because the mind is naturally accomplished in the mandala that appears without discrimination, it is superior. Furthermore, Ḍombi Heruka said: "Here, by the difference of the vessel and, the Dharma that acts as the vessel, and the difference of the treatise and the path, and the difference of the fruits, the mantra vehicle is extremely superior." Also, Indra Bhūti said: "It is superior by the difference of the guru, the vessel, the ritual, the action, the vows, the view of meditation, and the conduct." In the Net of Illusions it is said: "The secret mantra of all of them, The ritual is profound"

Having known this, the hero, at the foot of the Bodhi tree, attained the immeasurable all-knowing wisdom. So it is said. The extensive ways in which it is particularly superior cannot be exhausted even if described for an eon. Third, there are three ways to identify the reason for it being the fruit: it is established as the fruit in relation to the speed of time, it is established as the fruit because it is the supreme method, and it is established as the fruit because it uses something similar to the fruit as the path. First, it is established as the fruit because one obtains enlightenment quickly through whatever method. For example, just as a sharp weapon quickly cuts a tree, it is said that this cuts the tree; but if a blunt weapon cuts slowly, even if it cuts, it is said that this does not cut. Similarly, because enlightenment, which cannot be obtained for a long time through the characteristic vehicle, can be obtained in one lifetime etc. in mantra, it is called the fruit vehicle also from the point of view of the length of time. Moreover, it is said that it can be obtained in one lifetime with great diligence. In the Sambhuta it says: bahukalpakoṭiṣu | yad buddhatvaṃ sudurlabham | ihaiva janmani dadāti | phalayānaṃ tasmāducyate || (Tibetan: སཾ་བུ་ཊི་ལས། བསྐལ་བ་བྱེ་བ་དུ་མ་རུ། །བསྒྲུབ་པར་དཀའ་བའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱང༌། །ཚེ་འདི་ཉིད་ལ་སྟེར་བས་ན། །འབྲས་བུའི་ཐེག་པ་ཞེས་བྱའོ། །,Sanskrit Devanagari: बहुकल्पकोटिषु। ,Sanskrit Roman transliteration: bahukalpakoṭiṣu | yad buddhatvaṃ sudurlabham | ihaiva janmani dadāti | phalayānaṃ tasmāducyate ||,Literal Chinese meaning: In bahukalpakoṭiṣu (Sanskrit, countless hundreds of millions of kalpas), it is extremely difficult to attain buddhatva (Sanskrit, buddhatva, the fruit of Buddhahood), it is given in this janmani (Sanskrit, janmani, life), therefore it is called phalayāna (Sanskrit, phalayāna, fruit vehicle).) So it is said. In the Buddha Samayoga Tantra it says: It is not possible to obtain all the Buddhas in reality in countless billions of eons, but through the ritual of secret mantra in this life, it will be obtained in this very life. So it is said. Liberation in the bardo with medium diligence is as it says in the Four Seats of Vajra: From the upper part of the nine apertures, if one immediately transfers consciousness, even if one kills a Brahmin every day, commits the five inexpiable sins, and enjoys the actions of thieves and robbers, one will be liberated by this path, and will not be stained by sin. So it is said. In the Manjushri Oral Instructions it says: Even if one does not accomplish this body of form aggregates in this very life, one's mind will accomplish the Vajra body, and one will be perfectly accomplished in the bardo. So it is said. In the Lamrim it says: The yogi of medium diligence leaves behind the remaining body from which the result arises, and the consciousness goes to the place of Vajradhara. It is called the fully ripened one. So it is said. In the Yeshe Thigle it says: Or, immediately after abandoning this body, the supreme wisdom body will be accomplished even without diligence. What need is there to mention it if one has diligence? So it is said. The best of those with inferior faculties are liberated in the next life, as it says in the Names of Manjushri: The lord who goes immediately after being born. So it is said.
