The nature of wisdom is the wisdom that manifests countless emanations and accomplishes various benefits for sentient beings. As it says in that very text: "The wisdom that accomplishes activities, In all realms and various fields, With immeasurable and countless emanations, Accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings." The activity is to accomplish inconceivable benefits for those to be tamed. As it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: "The Buddha's emanation is always, The distinction of accomplishing activities, In all aspects of number and field, Should be known as inconceivable." Thirdly, there are two ways of knowing the knowable objects of that wisdom: Abandoning the inverted view and establishing the correct view. The first has three parts: Some Madhyamikas believe that the Buddha has no wisdom, therefore there is no knowing of wisdom, because the knowable is elaboration, and it is separated from it. Furthermore, knowledge is the pervaded object of ignorance, because the pervading ignorance recedes, the pervaded object, knowledge, also recedes. As it says in the Engaging: "When the mind ceases, that body manifests." Therefore, it is said. That is not reasonable, because if we consider the empty aspect of the Dharmakaya, neither the existence nor non-existence of wisdom is established, so even if we establish it as existing, it is refuted, and if we consider it as non-existent, it is equally refuted, so non-existence is also not reasonable. If we consider the apparent aspect of the Form Kaya, since it is necessary to appear from the object to be tamed in order to accomplish the benefit, wisdom must also appear. Furthermore, all the established tenets of knowable, knower, etc., are elaborations, but the objects of designation that appear without being designated by anything cannot be established as elaborations. Because even worldly people acknowledge this, it should not be refuted. As it says in the Sutra of Engaging in Accordance with the World: "Whatever worldly people acknowledge as existing, I also establish as existing." and so on. Knowledge is the basis of ignorance, but not the pervading object, so when ignorance recedes, knowledge does not recede, just as when a house collapses, the ground remains. It is said that the Dharmakaya of the Buddha is manifested by knowledge, as in "When the mind ceases, that body manifests." You also acknowledge this. Although the mind ceases, wisdom does not cease, and the most excellent thing above it always exists. Otherwise, on what does the mind cease? If the Engaging is interrupted, it is like space.

Otherwise, it would become like shooting an arrow. Therefore, the mind and mental factors covered by the eight consciousnesses of the Alaya consciousness will hinder the arising of wisdom. In the commentary on the "Entering the Middle Way" it is also said: For whose benefit is this done? It is for the supreme wisdom, and the Blessed One only attained it in the Akanistha heaven. Therefore, the view that there is wisdom is appropriate. The second view is that some Mind-Only proponents believe that the Buddha's wisdom should not understand external objects. If it understands with aspects, it will become the grasper and the grasped. If it understands without aspects, it is too extreme. This view is unreasonable, because in your view, there will be no omniscient wisdom, because it does not understand the appearance of external objects, and for consciousness, the examination of whether there are aspects or not is the same. The third view is that some who speak of the reality of the two truths believe that in the Buddha's wisdom, the impure illusion of samsara, in its own characteristic way, truly appears, and it is understood by the knowledge of suchness. If this were not the case, then the impure vessel and sentient beings would not be possible as objects of knowledge, because they are not seen by the omniscient wisdom. Because the Buddha has not seen it, it is impossible for there to be an object of knowledge, as the "Ornament for Clear Realization" says: Why is that? Because the Buddhas have not seen the dharmas. The "Pramanavarttika" also says: If there is something other than what is seen by the omniscient wisdom, then it should be understood that everything does not exist. Therefore, the view that even if one sees the impure, one is not tainted by the fault of illusion is also incorrect. Let alone the wisdom of the Buddha, from the pure three grounds onwards, after the transformation of the five sense consciousnesses, it is said that one can freely control the pure Buddha-fields. As the "Ornament for the Sutras" says: Because of the transformation of mind and grasping and discrimination, therefore non-discrimination, purified from the Buddha-field and wisdom, freedom is the state of four aspects. Freedom is the state of four aspects in the three immovable grounds, one has two states, and other than that, freedom is what each desires. How should this passage be understood? Because the Buddha is free from the stains of illusion, illusion should never appear in his own nature.", "chinese_translation": "又有些人认为,佛陀的智慧了解清净的器情世界,但不了解不清净的", "english_translation": "Also, some people think that the Buddha's wisdom understands the pure vessel and sentient beings, but does not understand the impure.
