So, how should this kind of establishment be done? Worldly people merely nominally establish it, unlike philosophical schools that cling to it as truly existent. As it is said in the *Entering the Middle Way*: "Just as you assert other-dependent existence as real, I do not accept conventional truth either." The way of imputation is as stated in the *King of Samadhi Sutra*: "In dharmas without letters, who is the listener and who is the speaker? Having imputed to what is without change, it is both the listener and the speaker." Thus, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, with the nature of illusion, without substance, appear as arising and ceasing, but the appearance in the world is not obstructed. As it is said in the *Root Wisdom*: "Like a dream, like an illusion, like a city of gandharvas, likewise, arising, abiding, and ceasing are taught; their nature is likewise." That is to say, if one does not understand how to distinguish and measure with the two truths, one cannot achieve enlightenment. As it is said in the *Refutation of Disputes*: "Without relying on conventional truth, the ultimate meaning is not realized. Without realizing the ultimate meaning, nirvana is not attained." And as it is said in the *Essence of the Middle Way*: "Without the ladder of true conventionalities, to climb to the top of that great mansion of Suchness, is not fitting for the wise." And as it is said in the *Root Wisdom*: "Those who do not know the distinction between these two truths do not know the profound reality of the Buddha's teachings." If one understands well, the merits are immeasurable. As it is said in the *Two Truths*: "Those who know the distinction between the two truths are not confused about the Buddha's teachings; they accumulate all the collections and go to the other shore of excellence." This way is the ultimate peak of the view of all vehicles of reasoning. The *Treasury of Tenets*, which clarifies the meaning of all vehicles, says: "Chapter Three: Explanation of the tenets of each vehicle." Thus, having understood the respective establishments of each vehicle, we will now separately explain their ways of practice. Among them, the path of the outsiders, because it falls into the extremes of permanence and annihilation, cannot be liberated, therefore, "Here, no distinction is made; extensive explanation is sufficient. The path of the insiders, with the division of the three vehicles, has the path of the Hearers and the path of the Solitary Buddhas.

, as well as the path of the Bodhisattvas, these three should be understood. Among them, the path of the Shravakas is to be weary of the suffering of Samsara and to seek liberation for one's own benefit. Regarding the way to enter this path, the Abhidharmakosha states: "Those who possess discipline, learning, and contemplation should diligently practice meditation." Therefore, one must first restrain one's mindstream with any of the seven types of Pratimoksha vows. The seven types of vows are: Bhikshu and Bhikshuni, Shramanera and Shramanerika, and Shikshamana, which are the five aspects of ordination; and Upasaka and Upasika, which are the vows of the lay practitioners, totaling seven. The Upavasatha vow is not considered a basis for merit because it is only occasional. One who abides in discipline in this way should become skilled in the five aggregates, the twelve sources, the eighteen elements, the twelve links of dependent origination, what is and is not possible, and the faculties. Then one enters the path of meditation, mainly making choices based on the Four Noble Truths. Among them, the truth of suffering is like a disease, caused by external or internal conditions in body, speech, and mind, causing pain and unpleasantness, such as illness and harm, and various other things, as well as the five aggregates of the time of Samsara, along with the aggregates of clinging, one strives to abandon these, thereby entering into the wisdom of self-nature. The truth of the origin is like the cause of disease, which is the karma of formation, like the image of a painter, which is the cause of creating suffering, such as the three poisons, one must strive to abandon these. The truth of cessation is like the happiness of being freed from disease, the joy of being liberated from the abyss of Samsara or plague, one should strive to obtain the supreme fruit. The truth of the path is like medicine, one enters into practice in order to be freed from the disease of suffering, as stated in the Ratnagotravibhāga: "Disease should be known, the cause of disease should be abandoned, medicine should be taken to attain happiness. Suffering and its cause, and its cessation and path, should be known, abandoned, realized, and cultivated." The meaning is the same. That is, the previous four paths are to be practiced through the seven divisions, as stated in the Abhidharmakosha: "The seven divisions are in order, the first is the follower of faith, and the warm, peak, forbearance, and worldly, after that are called cultivation and seeing." Therefore, in the small stage of the accumulation path, one should remember
