By the reason of proving conventional existence, it is impossible to go beyond the entities of permanence and annihilation; mere conceptual consciousness is not suitable as true meaning; Merely stopping elaboration does not go beyond the distinctions of elaboration, etc., and is harmed by many reasonings. In the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning, it says: If it is admitted that it exists conventionally, then it becomes permanent; if it is thought that it does not exist ultimately, then it becomes annihilation. etc. If the two truths are considered different, then in one entity, just as it does not exist ultimately, it also becomes non-existent conventionally; just as conventional existence is diverse, ultimate reality also becomes impermanent, etc.; if it is established as an entity or essence, then it becomes established simultaneously, etc., and many contradictions exist. Second, the tenets of the Madhyamaka-Prasaṅgika school have three aspects: The distinction between deluded and non-deluded consciousness; the way of distinguishing the two truths depending on that; the way the Prasaṅgika school cuts off elaboration. First, the most excellent disciples of the teacher Nāgārjuna, such as Candrakīrti, who hold the view of definitive meaning, think like this: In the samadhi of attaining the ground and on the ground of the Buddhas, since whatever appears as the knowable, such as the knowable and the knower, the object and the subject, the apprehended and the apprehender, is not established, the activity of the subject's wisdom is also pacified. At that time, all the activities of mind and mental factors cease, and the correct mind that realizes the nature of reality in the inexpressible and inconceivable wisdom is called non-deluded wisdom. As it says in the Entering the Middle Way: Because the nature of reality is unborn, wisdom is also free from birth; therefore, they depend on each other, and it is like reasoning itself. Because the mind arises in the form of an object, that is its object. Thus, this is the knowing mind, and this reasoning is established based on convention. It also says: When the dry firewood of the knowable is completely burned and pacified, it is the Dharmakāya of the Victorious One. At that time, there is no birth and no cessation. The cessation of mind is the direct realization of that body. Also, as it says in the Clear Words: Here, the elaboration of mind and mental factors also ceases, etc. That state is called the realization of the ultimate truth, and its object is the nature of reality.

Therefore, the nature of the Dharmadhatu is naturally pure. The false appearances and confused minds are due to the obscuration of the eyes by the habitual tendencies of ignorance in ordinary beings, just like clinging to eye floaters and falling hairs as real. The various joys and sufferings that appear in the abodes and enjoyments of the six realms, as well as the appearances of the grasper and the grasped that arise dependently due to delusion, and the appearances of the container and its contents that appear in common with others in the subsequent attainment after attaining the ground, and the mere appearances of sense direct perception and inference that infers things like fire, etc., these two levels of mind appear in relation to measuring the appearance of conventionality. Moreover, this is divided into two types of conventionality: pure sense faculties such as the eye and those with defects. From this, it is stated in the same text: "False appearances are of two kinds: clear sense faculties and sense faculties with defects. The knowledge of sense faculties with defects is considered to be inverted in relation to the well-functioning sense faculties." Thus it is said. Secondly, the way of dividing into two truths has two aspects: understanding the nature and practicing after understanding. The first has six aspects: basis, characteristic, division, definite number, definite meaning, and valid cognition that determines. The first, although there is no common basis and characteristic, in the minds of ordinary people, there is a truth that merely turns away from what is not truth. As it is said in the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning: "The two truths are established in relation to the minds of ordinary people." Or, merely taking the absence of inherent existence as the basis. As it is said in the Entering the Middle Way: "Because both of the two truths lack inherent existence, these are neither permanent nor annihilated." Thus it is said. The basis of conventional truth is all the appearances of the six consciousnesses together with their objects. However, the way in which the Madhyamikas enter into the six consciousnesses is the same as that of the Shravakas. The ultimate truth is considered to have the basis of the Dharmadhatu, which is naturally pure. There are two characteristics. The characteristic of conventional truth is the appearance of grasping and being grasped, along with elaboration. It is also the arising of the appearance of obscuration. As it is said in the same text: "Because ignorance obscures its own nature, it is conventional truth. Thus, the Buddha said that what appears as false and fabricated is the conventional truth." Thus it is said. That is samsara.
