To be born in the realm of the Four Formless Absorptions. It says in that very text: "The four formless absorptions produced by the ten virtues, proceed to the four realms such as infinite space." Thus it is. Those who are mistaken are the non-Buddhists who speak of permanence and annihilation. Those who understand the selflessness of the individual only partially are the Hearers; those who do not understand as it is are the Bodhisattvas, because they are ignorant of the profound secrets. Discipline, conduct, secret yoga, the meaning of the secret of self-nature are the unsurpassed tantras. Similarly, it is said in the Secret Conduct Seed Tantra: "The first of the sixteen vehicles." It is said that the two vehicles of gods and humans with individual liberation, the two non-Buddhists, the two Hearers, the Vaibhashika and Sautrantika, the Mind-Only and the Svatantrika Madhyamaka, the Prasangika Madhyamaka, and the Kriya and Charya, Yoga and Maha, Anu and Ati and fifteen, the Vajrasattva spontaneously accomplished vehicle of clear light, are said to be sixteen. The number of philosophical tenets for measuring the types of vehicles is not definite, because there are countless differences in classification and collection, because it was made by the Vajradhara of the past and the wise teachers who attained great accomplishment. Those who are small-minded and have short-sighted wisdom cling to one, and are alarmed by the inconceivable establishment of the number of vehicles and the types of philosophical tenets, saying that it is not true, just as cows and buffaloes and other animals think that because we animals have horns, humans and gods must also have horns. Therefore, the ways of the vehicles, the types of names, words, and meanings are infinite, and the ways of traveling the path and the ways of establishing the grounds and samadhis are inconceivable, because the all-knowing ones know and proclaim everything. From having a path to travel and not having a path to travel, having effort and not having effort, liberation in one lifetime and liberation in kalpas, etc., the Dharma is taught in accordance with the thoughts of what kind of accomplishment one likes and believes in. Therefore, abandoning wrong views by being alarmed and afraid of the oceans of Dharma, and entering by seeking the real meaning, is the supreme instruction. Now, explaining the differences of each vehicle separately, it is divided into two:

Therefore, briefly explaining the tenets of the outsiders and extensively classifying the tenets of the insiders. First, those early teachers of the heretics who deviated from the teachings of the Buddhist insiders are considered as five schools of reasoning. The Samkhya school is considered to be the basis of all schools. As it is said, "The enjoyer, the permanent, the substance, the non-agent self. The inactional qualities are examined by the Samkhyas. By relying on these subtle differences, the systems of the heretics become different." Among them, the Samkhya, Ishvara, Vishnu, and Jina schools are those who hold permanence, while the Charvaka school asserts annihilationism. First, the Samkhya school appeared when beings lived to be twenty thousand years old. A sage who attained liberation through asceticism, named Kapila, composed many treatises. His disciples Bharadvaja and the son of the submerged one inherited his tenets. Bharadvaja considered all knowledge to be determined as twenty-five categories, while the son of the submerged one considered the nature of these twenty-five to be emptiness as well. Therefore, it is called the Kapila school. As it is said in the Compendium of the Essence of Wisdom, "The Samkhyas proclaim qualities, while the Kapilas consider emptiness." If classified, there are the Samkhya, Kapila, and the three qualities schools. The basis of these tenets is the Samkhya school. They believe that all knowledge is contained within the self and the principal, which has five aspects: the self and the principal, the way to understand them, the faults of not understanding them, and the benefits of understanding them. First is: "The enjoyer, the permanent, the substance, the non-agent self. The inactional qualities are examined by the Samkhyas." The self is the person (Pudgala) of sentient beings, which is knowledgeable, permanent, unique, separate from action, being the enjoyer by enjoying objects, existing in the pocket of the principal of the nature-cause, therefore being hidden from anyone's sight, and possessing five characteristics. The principal has two aspects, the principal of the nature-cause is the balance of the three qualities of pleasure, pain, and equanimity, or the three of desire, hatred, and ignorance, or the three qualities otherwise known as power, dust, and darkness. It is material, permanent, unique, and the cause of producing all transformations.
