Having arisen thus, it is called the awareness of no place being liberated into no support. Second, if one abandons meditation and conceals view and conduct, the awareness of no support arises without dependence, and it is called the causeless fruit abiding in itself. If one abandons conduct and conceals view and meditation, the body is abandoned on a cliff, and the mind goes into the nature of reality. If one abandons view and conceals both conduct and meditation, the mind is sent into emptiness, and it is called the body and speech reaching the essential point. There are very many such tantras and agamas. In some, like the All-Creating King, the view of the expanse is mainly taught, and others are taught as secondary. Fourth, the nature of the teachings given in the manner of self-clarity is that they transcend words and do not abide in the extremes of tenets. The nature of reality, which is primordially pure, arises spontaneously without partiality. The characteristics transcend the mind, so there is no movement, gathering, or dispersing. If divided, there are three: wanting to chase away delusion, reversing delusion at the base, and the thigle reaching its own essential point. The nature of the first is that the root of delusion, ignorance, lays the foundation for the three realms of samsara, and that itself is chased away, so ignorance is eradicated. Self-awareness abides in the first base, so there is no reversal. Since nature arises in various ways, the clinging to objects is cut off from the pursuit of causes and conditions. The basis of samsaric delusion is exhausted, and it is called the Great Primordial Purity. The characteristic is that delusion is self-purifying, so the path of perceptual delusion is exhausted. If divided into three, the nature of the method of reversing samsara and nirvana by cutting off delusion is that by knowing that the root of delusion, ignorance itself, is self-liberated, one obtains the confirmation of never having been deluded from the beginning, that is, transcending delusion and non-delusion. Since nature is individually deluded, the measure of adventitious imputation is grasped, that is, transcending the object of grasping and being grasped. The characteristic is that by recognizing delusion, one can grasp the temperature of the wisdom of non-delusion. The nature of recognizing the nature of reality of non-delusion by placing delusion in its own place is that since one has never been deluded from the beginning, the cause of ignorance is purified. Since one does not abide in delusion now, the basis of karma and afflictions is emptied. Since it is impossible to be deluded in the future, the boundary of good and bad karma is cut off. Since there is no distinction in nature, samsara and nirvana are one base in awareness, that is, delusion is self-purifying. The characteristic is that since there is no cause for delusion, the three realms are completely swept away. The nature of the wheel of delusion being cut off by deceiving the basis of delusion is that

Since the basis for downfall is empty, the basis that was not found is remedied. Since the nature transcends calculation, right and wrong are not established. The characteristic is being free from the mind of right and wrong. The single essence of self, which places the bindu in its own state, is free from elaboration, so there is neither one nor many. Since the nature is non-dual, it transcends terms and words. Since the characteristic is introduced, there is faith and certainty. Divisions: There are two, the oral transmission and the explanatory transmission. The essence of the oral transmission is that it is transmitted directly from one to another, so the connection is close. Since the nature is connected to the ear faculty, there is no interruption. The characteristic is that there is no error, so there is faith and confidence. Divisions include oral transmissions with and without letters, all of which fall into the pith instructions of words and meanings. The essence of the explanatory transmission is the natural wisdom that arises spontaneously from the nature of effortless action, without cause, so there is no basis for turning back in the three realms. Since the nature is clear and without impurity, the characteristics of the five wisdoms are known. Since the characteristic transcends conceptual thought, it always abides in the intention of the three kayas and five wisdoms. Divisions are four: the outer circle, the inner circle, the secret circle, and the unsurpassed secret circle. First, the essence of the outer circle is that afflictions cannot be abandoned, so the five poisons abide on the path. Since the nature is without effort, whatever appears arises as the nature of reality. Since the characteristic is without partiality, emptiness is not divided anywhere. The essence of the inner circle is that form has no self-nature, so it is the nature of reality without characteristics. Since the nature has no coming or going, it is the wisdom that abides eternally in time. The characteristic arises like a root from the side of piercing; it arises like a trunk from the side of gathering; it arises like leaves from the side of expanding; it arises like a flower from the side of clarity; it arises like a fruit from the side of ripening. The essence of the secret circle is that introduction and attainment of realization are simultaneous, so it does not depend on the three, hearing, thinking, and meditation. Since the nature of ceasing breath and attaining Buddhahood are simultaneous, it does not depend on diligence and habituation. Since the characteristic of attaining Buddhahood and the arising of compassion are simultaneous, it does not depend on the completion of the two accumulations. The essence of the unsurpassed secret circle is that it does not rely on words, so it does not depend on the wisdom of conceptual thought. Since the nature is known directly, it does not abide in the view of conceptual grasping. The characteristic is that the four visions reach their limit.
