At the time of practicing yoga, towards the Guru who possesses the three kindnesses, with firm conviction, regard him as the embodiment of all Buddhas. With unwavering devotion, merge your mind with the Guru's wisdom, and abide in the luminous nature of your own mind, with mindfulness not forgetting, continuously aware of the changes in the mind. Recognize the nature of your own mind, let it naturally manifest, and effortlessly maintain this state. Diligently cultivate this habit. Like guarding a pasture, protect your own mind, observe it frequently, and do not be lazy. Gradually, you will be able to recognize the nature of the mind. Integrate the body, breath, and mind into the key of practice. Relying solely on this self-nature Dharma, you can gradually tame your own mind. I hope to complete these practices perfectly in this life. Nowadays, those monks who aspire to practice the Dharma all wish to simultaneously attain luminosity and perfection. Even after obtaining the precious human rebirth, they still aspire to become true practitioners. This is what Mati said. At the moment of opening the door to the all-pervading wisdom, here are the essential instructions on how to eliminate life's obstacles by adjusting the breath: In a comfortable posture, rest on your own bed, sitting in the vajra posture. To keep the body upright, adjust the body to the optimal state. Maintain the posture of the body, with eyes looking straight ahead. Place your hands on the ground or on your knees. Relax your body and mind, and remain comfortable and peaceful. Close your mouth and breathe slowly through both nostrils. Repeat this three times, and then temporarily return to natural breathing. In the space in front of your brow, visualize light rays of various colors such as yellow, white, red, black, green, and blue, circling from the outside inward, forming a six-layered aura. In the center of this light mass is the essence of the root Guru—the omniscient Je Tsongkhapa. He is seated on a lotus and moon cushion, his body color exhibiting a reddish-white luster, possessing a bright and radiant body. He has a smiling face, with eyes gazing into space. His expression is extremely joyful, with a smile, presenting a peaceful demeanor. His hands are in the earth-touching mudra, and his legs are in the vajra posture. He wears a Dolpo hat on his head and three robes on his body. He possesses all the attire of a Guru and radiates light. In his heart, the ten Sanskrit letters are clearly visible. Then, while visualizing clearly, slowly exhale. At the end of the exhalation, inhale, and immediately press the breath below the navel. At the same time, tighten the lower abdominal breath, forming the vase breath. While holding the vase breath, visualize from the heart of the omniscient Tsongkhapa, a yellow essence drop of the earth element emanating from the letter in Tsongkhapa's heart. Entering from the crown of your head, penetrating the body, reaching the navel, where the self-nature drop of the earth element appears as a yellow light. It is inseparable from the life breath, manifesting in emptiness and clarity. To the best of your ability, abide in this state of non-grasping, merely recognizing the state of self-nature. After briefly maintaining this state, exhale. At the same time, visualize the earth element drop moving upward and dissolving into the heart of Tsongkhapa. This is the key point of visualization. Begin again as before. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, focus on controlling the breath. Then, from the essence of the omniscient (kun khyen, सर्वज्ञ, sarvajña, all-knowing one) heart, radiate the six pure elements transformed from letters. Radiate yellow, white, red, black, green, and blue bindus (thig le, bindu, बिंदु, drop). All of these enter from the crown of the head, pass through the body, and reach the earth element at the navel. Yellow is dominant, with other element colors mixed in, existing in an inconspicuous way. In the green and yellow light, a bright radiance appears. The five elements merge into the earth element, focusing on this key point. As before, perform kumbhaka (bum can) at the navel as much as possible. Finally, focus the mind on the heart of the omniscient, cultivating in the state of experiencing great bliss and equal taste (ro mnyam chen po). Simply recognizing that luminosity and emptiness are the nature of the mind, let it naturally remain in its unaltered, original state. Let the roots naturally relax, energy flow naturally, and maintain balance. Finally, the omniscient dissolves into the crown of one's own head. Resolve that the three doors (body, speech, and mind) merge into the three kayas (dharmakaya, sambhogakaya, nirmanakaya). In this way, the power of the five elements is gathered into the earth element. Steadfast samadhi and supreme concentration increase. Non-conceptual wisdom reveals new visions. Furthermore, in daily life, try not to disturb the entry and exit of breath through the nostrils. Let the life force (srog thug) naturally combine at the navel. If one can maintain mindfulness without forgetting, one can reduce the power of the breath and continuously maintain awareness. This effectively enhances the power of the mind. Whenever there is a need, one can do this. The above is just a simple description of controlling the breath and eliminating obstacles. By striving to cultivate in the state of self-awareness (rang gsal), when experiencing the corresponding realization, Mati expresses heartfelt wishes to you. The Buddhas of the three times are one Dharmakaya, In the nature of reality, there is neither good nor bad. Sentient beings do not see reality as it is, Each sees what suits them. Therefore, I offer to the one refuge, Ultimately, there is only one Dharmakaya. This is the nature of all Buddhas, The good heart of non-conceptual, free from elaboration. If you understand the key point in this way, The clarity of your present mind will appear. Without artifice, let it be natural, Self-luminous, naturally perfect. The union of emptiness and great bliss. The secret intention of the root guru, Is primordially inseparable from oneself. Having well recognized this truth, Rest naturally in self-awareness. Furthermore, the clarity of one's own mind, Unattached, original, free from fabrication. Primordial, natural, spontaneously accomplished, Rest naturally in the energy. View thoughts as self-liberating, When cultivating the natural state, Self-luminous great bliss spontaneously arises. The co-emergent nature of bliss and emptiness manifests, Complete with all aspects, beyond thought. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
